Pros: Room was clean and comfortable but overpriced.
Cons: Dinner was frugal, pretentious and the main dish was very poor quality. It is one of the worst meals I have had in years. At 45 euros it is the worst value for money I have ever had. There was no A La Carte option and the only alternative to the Set Menu was a tasting menu at 98 euros. In short a disgrace.
Pros: Breakfirst and dinner, staff is top. Realy must go last time we were in another lokation in the neighborhood but this one is much much beter
Cons: The wifi wasnt up to current Standard but that's the only minus

Pros: Great experience overall thanks to everybody !
Pros: Lovely family-run hotel and restaurant in a small village. Nice and clean room, which had obviously been redone not so long ago. The bedding was very comfortable, and with the area being so quiet at night, it made for a very good night's sleep. There is a large parking available and the area is very secure too. And a pool too. Traveling on a motorcycle, I found it nice to have a bar and a restaurant on site, so as not to have to gear up again to go out and have dinner, after a day of riding. Nice selection on the menu, in addition to the specials they have on any given day. The owners and family certainly know how to make you feel welcome and were really great to interact with.
Pros: We had 1 evening meal in the restaurant connected to the hotel and found it very good. The views are great and the extra facilities (pool, spaces to relax, ) were very nice.
Cons: The breakfast was too expensive for what we got. We enjoyed the coffee at a small restaurant up the street much more.
Pros: Superb location, excellent hospitality, delicious food....what more could one ask?
Pros: Fantastic staff always ready to help; great food and service; location nice and close to the ski resort
Cons: Road access can be dangerous when walking out of the hotel
Pros: Food. Staff setting
Pros: Fabulous location with wonderful mountain scenery. Marvellous walks with breathtaking views. Superb dining.
Cons: We had asked for a twin room but got a standard double bed. We are very tall. They did provide a second bed and were very apologetic.

Pros: A very warm and friendly welcome! The rooms were clean and looked nice. And nature around it is beautiful! And dinner is good too, loved the burger!
Pros: We booked 3 rooms here for 4 nights in August. The hotel is very charming and is located in a tranquil location in the old part of Gresse-en-Vercors. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was wonderful. We hope to return again soon - this is a very beautiful part of France that still feels undiscovered, you won't see many other Brits here.

Pros: We were on our way to the South of France for our summer vacation - and only booked a night here. On arriving, exploring the garden, dipping into the pool, having dinner, we started to wonder if we really should continue our journey South... This is a really nice, tranquil place. The hour long drive was forgotten within minutes. Would always return.
Pros: Fantastic stay and staff very accommodating. We arrived after the kitchen was closing after a long car drive but the owners still managed to make us hot food. Lovely location for walkers or biking. If we had one reservation it was with the early risers above our room with noise that carried through the floor. But otherwise lovely.
Pros: Didn't have breakfast
Cons: The reception staff/owner was pleasant and helpful. But I left a Do Not Disturb on my room and got back late at night to find that the room cleaner had ignored the DND sign and had moved all my things and left the bathroom and lounge areas windows open and the doors onto the balcony open. V Bad: 1. room is on 1st floor with a flat roof building in front and no visibility from other buidlings or street so anyone could hev gone into my room and stolen everything. 2. It was a very cold day so i returned to a freezing cold room 3. I also returned to a room was full of mosquitos and I got badly bitten while sleeping (one of the main reasons I closed all the windows and doors) Massively overpriced but the whole Riviera is like that
Pros: Our evening meal was really excellent. The bedroom and shower room were spacious and warm. The shower was good. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
Cons: The bed and bedding need renewing, they were not very comfortable. The breakfast was an expensive optional extra at €9 each and did not live up to expectations for the price. We would recommend finding a cheaper alternative.
Pros: Fantastic. A proper Family Alpine hotel. Location tremendous. Good food and drink.
Pros: Wonderfully friendly and helpful welcome. Great supper and beautiful location.
Pros: Beautiful location and grounds. Room Was large and comfortable. Some wacky old pieces of furniture. Good was also good.
Cons: The staff were not as friendly as other hotels.
Pros: Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the exceptionally great dinner, served by a very friendly staff!
Pros: I liked the place. Also the dinner was very delicious. They were very caring and nice. The room was simple furnished but clean and equipped with all you need.
Cons: I don't have anything what i disliked.
Pros: Continental Brerakfest
Cons: No WLAN in the room
Pros: Basic accomodation, but confortable and perfectly suiting the biker travelling on a budget to visit Vercors. As anywhere in France they have troubles with food for people with food intollerance. Very nice staff.
Pros: Very good hotel, with a great price. Also the restaurant has a new menu every day and does serve specialties of the region (raclette, tartiflette, cheese fondue, ...). Kind hosts and good location to see the region Vercors!
Pros: The cleanliness, the location and the food was amazing!!!

When you stay at Vacancéole - Les Gentianes in Gresse-en-Vercors, you'll be 9 minutes by car from Parcours Aventure Trieves.
Pros: Great location and budget price
Cons: There was no proper bed ( just a sofa bed), and no windows.
Pros: Good value, nice staff
Cons: Maybe more silverware and dishes
Pros: Good space, super friendly and considerate staff.
Cons: It was hard to find. And, since we were there in the off season, some of the information online wasn't current.
Pros: Location, large room
Cons: Very comfortable. Bathroom huge, would be better described as a wet room. Bedrooms need more storage; drawers/hanging space
Pros: We got an excellent, brand new apartment to stay in-we were actually upgraded to a bigger place too. We were late arriving but the Concierge left a note with his number so we could call him to get into our apartment (at midnight even, so obliging). The scenery, especially when it snows a lot during the night, is spectacular. The ski slopes are just a short drive (I mean you could walk but we took the car with all our gear) and are good for all levels of skiers. There was internet accesss, hot breakfast available and saunas too! I would totally recommend this modern and comfortable hotel/apartment complex. We felt it was like our home away from home (even when we were checking out they let us take our time and didn't harrass us). In fact, over much of the holiday they just let you alone in your apartment to enjoy yourself unless you need something when they are happy to help. You will get the best sleep ever in this place, it is so peaceful and quiet at night (and the stars come out in force too!) Truly a great place to stay on your ski holiday:)
Cons: The hill up the hotel/apartment is a bit steep, especially if it is snowy/icy but you just have to put on snow chains or really take it easy (it is not long). Also, it is mostly a French speaking area only (I have moderate French so that was o.k. and I love the charm of this) but just be prepared (i.e. with a dictionary perhaps!) One last thing stock up on supplies for the apartment (this includes toilet rolls!) - there is only one shop/tabac in town which is great for smaller shopping trips and essentials but when you first arrive it is probably better to buy before and bring more from the bigger supermarkerts closer to Grenoble.
