The view is spectacular, the little town is within walking distance. Not so much, was disappointed. THe jacuzzi was not in working order, the pool was dirty and the noise of terrasse being under the room balcony was disturbing. Breakfast was not up to a 4 star hotel standard
The location The staff and food
The view from the bedroom window as we had a loggia room. Food was good.Setting spectacular. Good facilities but decor in rooms could do with an update.Good attention to detail and very pleasing and restful. Could be less expensive (breakfast price is outrageous) In the evening, if dinner guests stayed late , noise from verandah bothered us- this only happened once and the noise abated after 11.30pm.
The view from our room was excellent. The bathroom Cleanliness.
The hotel and room were quaint. The staff seemed a little unconcerned about us. For a hotel with its own restaurant, the breakfast was very unimpressive.
Comfortable, quiet, very good value, delightful gardens and pool
Excellent position, very nice view from the terrace, lovely breakfast served in the garden. The room was very nice but small, also the bed was rather small.
the position, the gardens, the general helpfulness of everyone we encountered.
Nice quiet location but within easy walking distance of the town. Helpfull unobtrusive staff with good facilities, parking and a pool.
A nice castle-hotel in an excellent location with very beautiful rooms and a nice view at the village (Flayosc). The pool was nice too. All in all very romantic. The woman in the reception (and probably the hotel owner) could be a little bit more enthousiastic.
Lovely place! Charming interior, wonderful surroundings, fine food! Extremely hard to find! They should put up more signs as how to reach the hotel. The navigator got totally confused, and apparently road construction goes on forever. Really a handicap their location, as lond as it is not properly posted. The restaurant, which is excellent, suffers from lack of clientele, because of this. Advise them to do something about this! Booking.com should add a new category :culture!!
The hotel is very charming and the restaurant has a very nice interior. The beds are too short for long persons and the use of perfume is the rooms is too extensive.
Lovely room, excellent breakfast. The restaurant had excellent reviews but also very expensive for dinner.
Nice swimming pool; wireless internet No air conditioning; bed hard; staff not particularly friendly
Fantastic restaurant - top quality Provençal food. Great pool.
Friendly welcome from all the staff, really made our stay enjoyable.
Location address given is unprecise - car navigation could not find it. In reality the hotel is in the midddle of nowhere rather than "between winyards" as advertised , the forest where one can walk for hours according to advertisement actually looked junky, air condition was not working. The room however was quite ok.
Very friendly hotel staff. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The restaurant at the hotel was a postive surprise. Nice to relax by the pool.
Nice breakfast, beautiful pool.Friendly Out in the country, no elevators, rooms were split. Couldn't find our reservation. Had wifi but only worked in lobbi. Each time we wanted to use WIFI they had to turn it on.
Plesent staff, good location, suitable for long or short stay, attractive restaurant, nice setting. Nothing to complain about
Acceptable standard of cleanliness and comfort. Good breakfast. Pleasant surroundings and adequate parking facilities. Friendly and accommodating staff. Room was slightly cramped. Not enough power sockets to charge appliances.
It was very clean and the staff very friendly and central to our friends who live in Le Thoronet Nothing
Rooms were comfortable and staff friendly and lovely area to visit. No kettle in the room
The location in the beautiful area around Villecroze; also the staff were very friendly. The room did not have a terrace or outside seating area. Also breakfast was very expensive, but that's France!
