Pros: Tasteful decorated with all that you need for a great stay. Shower room was stylishly modernised. The breakfast was the best you will ever taste. We had 2 dogs with us and they loved the garden. Francious was a fabulous host and booked our restaurant dinner just 3 km down the road which was a beautiful modern water mill conversion, with a great menu.
Cons: A little tricky to find if your GPS let's you down. The property entrance is sharp left at the front of the church.

Cons: Some of the advertising photos don’t do the house justice
Pros: Really a perfect place to stay. The house is stunning, the host helpful and breakfast is a feast. You'll have a perfect stay here.
Pros: From the moment we were greeted by our host. Asking did we have dinner. Reserving a table for us in a local restaurant. Where the food was out of this world. Excellent spread for breakfast in a great location only 15KM from Lisieux
Pros: A gorgeous property in a lovely location. The breakfast was copious with a lot of choice & fantastic fresh bread. Francois, the host, was very welcoming. The room was spacious & beautifully furnished with a huge bathroom. There is a quiet garden to sit in with views across the valley. The private parking area is very good.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. I was a bit worried about the steep entrance to the property as I have a low car but there was no problem. It is quite easy to miss the entrance as it is tucked away beside the church.
Pros: Stunning house, fabulous views, beautiful comfy bedroom & bathroom. Good wifi; sockets by bed. Courteous & helpful host. Continental breakfast - fresh bread, preserves, cheese, hard boiled egg, pastries, fruit, coffee, orange juice. More than I could possibly eat - all excellent quality.
Cons: The driveway was daunting on a motorbike.starts with very steep corrugated concrete, proceeds to steep uneven gravel with potholes. To be fair good flat parking at top. Very secure.
Pros: Fantastic hosts, beautiful house. Comfortable bed and thoroughly charming. Beautiful walk with the dogs in the the surrounding woodland. Great with the dogs.
Cons: Nothing, it was exactly what we needed.

Pros: The hospitality of the owners was outstanding. Their knowledge of their home and local area was fabulous, and they were willing to share this with guests. The area, for us, was wonderful. The only noises were birdsong. True peace and quiet.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facility in the room. This may be normal for French B & B though, so not so much a criticism as personal choice. A basic (although very tasty) breakfast of bread, cheese, yoghurt and assortment of jams.
Pros: The location was in a beautiful natural area
Cons: The earliest the house could provide breakfast was 9am and there were no flexibility to accommodate our request for an earlier breakfast (we pre-paid for the breakfast and nob refund were received). We booked for one room for three people which the house said they have. It turned out to be two separate rooms which was a surprise and not helping us with a six year old.
Pros: We loved our stay in this 500 year old house. The owner welcomed us, and told us a bit about the house which is beautiful. Like stopping into a museum ;-). Breakfast was simple but delicious, excellent coffee. The rooms were very clean, lovely beds, and so so quiet at night.
Pros: The location was pefect for a peaceful and quiet stay. A very old and characterful house with wonderful old furniture. No light pollution so the night sky was truly brilliant. Breakfast just up our street, homemade preserves and bread. Better still the variety of preserves and bread along with chance to sample and then purchase produce such as non alcoholic organic cider with Bubbles Fantastic
Cons: Only stayed for the 1 night.
Pros: The beautiful countryside and buildings as well as the peace and quiet
Cons: Our bedroom was a little damp smelling.
Pros: Bread, butter, jams and coffee were all that were provided.

Beautiful boudoiur bedroom with ensuite and ground floor garden views.
