Pros: The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the location was very convenient for the supermarket. It was also in good spot for lovely cycle rides. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, I thoroughly recommend this B&B.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: It was not easy to find and a bit off putting state of the building. Stairs dark and narrow with no banister. Get to the bedroom and it is another world. The room was bright and clean. Everything you needed for a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the room just kept coming. Excellent Hosts so friendly, would do anything for you.
Cons: Getting there.
Pros: Very kind hosts, best breakfast in France ever, in a nice garden . Clean rooms, good facilities. Good place to start trips in Haute Normandie.
Cons: There are no restaurants closed to the property.
Pros: The breakfast was awesome and the hosts were very friendly and informative as far as excursions
Cons: I found the bed was a little to hard and uncomfortable for me but the room was great.
Pros: The rooms were very comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating.
Cons: You have to drive to a restaurant but you can order in a takeaway.
Pros: Accomodiation was very good, calm area, room very clean, breakfast :) , comfortable bed,
Pros: Good choice of food for breakfast.
Pros: Property is very nice and clean , lovely people very welcoming.
Pros: Lovely spacious room, large comfy bed, great shower. Very friendly and accommodating hosts - no problem getting an early breakfast at 7am. Private secure parking.
Cons: Not many options close by for eating out. There’s a Chinese, a Campanile where you can only dine if you are staying there, and Comfort Hotel which is where we ate. It was ok. However there is a supermarket very close and facilities in the room for eating in (microwave, kettle, fridge, plates, etc) so that is another option.
Pros: The warm hospitality of our hosts
Pros: Very clean, friendly hosts, lovely breakfast. Free parking.
Pros: Very friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast.
Pros: Excellent room. Excellent breakfast, a little off our route but that was my mistake. A lovely place for a longer stay.
Pros: Great service and breakfast. Nice atmosphere, friendly people. Enough space in rooms and bathroom. Good quality in general.
Cons: You may have some problems if you do not speak/understand any french.
Pros: Lovely hosts
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Ran by a lovely couple who were very helpful. We were travelling with a baby so had a cold spread each evening - once inside in the main living area and once in the pretty garden. Convenient location to visit Rouen
Pros: We had a very comfortable nights stay. The hosts were very welcoming and, although my french is limited, we managed to communicate. The family rooms we had were immaculately clean. I cannot find fault, it was excellent value for money. Thank you.
Pros: Quite picturesque location
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful place, very closed to Rouen, with a big garden. The room where we slept was romantic and super cleaned but the most beautiful part of our journey was the owners. This beautiful couple is lovely! With a little money you can get a delicious continental breakfast served in the living room. A special mention to the owner for his vinerape figs, which were so juicy!
Pros: Our hosts were really accommodating and did all they could to make us as comfortable as possible
Pros: This is a wonderful place and Nicole is a wonderful host. It is in a beautiful location - quiet, pretty, and close to lots of local villages with some excellent restaurants. The room and bathroom are perfect, and the breakfast is a delight. We had a brilliant time and hopefully will be back. Fully recommended!
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic B&B. The pool is lovely and the garden is beautiful. It is very quiet and peaceful, which is what we were looking for after a day of travelling. The breakfast included fantastic baked croissant / pain au chocolat and brioche bread from the local bakery. Overall a lovely stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.
Pros: Fabulous place out of town a bit. But SO relaxing with a wonderful swiming pool and little touches of countryside with mamma chicken and her 8 chicks wandering around. Nicole was a marvellous host and we even enjoyed a drink with her one evening. Lovely breakfast and very private comfortable room.
Cons: Nothing. It was great.
Pros: This place is perfect on its own, but there is Nicole, the owner, whose personality makes it truly wonderful :)
VUE SEINE - GITE PANORAMA is located in La Bouille. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. At the guest house, each room comes with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Guest rooms at VUE SEINE - GITE PANORAMA are equipped with a seating area. The accommodation offers a sun terrace. Rouen is 23 km from VUE SEINE - GITE PANORAMA, while Pont-Audemer is 39 km away. The nearest airport is Deauville - Normandie Airport, 67 km from the guest house.
Pros: You won't be disappointed, location and panorama view from balcony is perfect! Just couple of minutes drive down the hill and you will find very good example of french culinary in the local pub/restaurant "La Escala". If you like walking or cycling, take a small ferry to cross the river Seine and enjoy the views on the opposite side of the village.
Cons: Bed in the far end room was a bit too small and short for us but that's not so important for short stay.
Pros: Very spacious and comfortable with everything you could require for an overnight or longer stay. But by far the outstanding feature of this property was the spacious balcony and amazing views. For once, the online photographs do not do justice to the actual view. A short car journey takes you into the city of Rouen, well worth a visit. We are looking to book again next year.
Cons: Hard to criticise a fantastic apartment but the only minor issue we had was in the actual location. We easily found the road but perhaps a better number sign would help.
Pros: The place has an stunning view to the Seine, we fall in love with this place. The place was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable too. In other words I would love to get back but this time during summer. Thank you for you your wonderful hospitality Antoine.
Cons: That we didn't have enough time to enjoy this place more.
Pros: Nice house with a good size room and comfortable bed. View from balcony fantastic.
Cons: An extra towel.. only one for three nights not enough when you are working in a Paper mill :o)
Pros: Nice, quiet little house. Nice terrace with beautiful view over the Seine.
Pros: The balcony with table & chairs overlooking the Seine was really lovely.
Cons: The mattress was rather firm and very low. The shower cabinet had nowhere to put soap or shampoo & the bathroom lighting was very poor. We were only provided with one bath towel each, no hand towel.
Pros: The property was very clean and the family suite was perfect was 2 adults and 3 children. The owners were super helpful and accommodating. We arrived later than expected due to car problems and they were so helpful in getting us settled in. Breakfast was also very nice. We would return.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find as the location map on bookings.com wasn't completely accurate- not far away but helpful if you ring the property in advance to clarify the location. The owners however were very helpful and came out to meet us at the gate to show us the way despite it being very late.
Pros: Superbe place. The hosts are very kind and accommodating.
Pros: Nice garden for the children to play in.
Cons: Very difficult to find. Don’t use sat nav!
Pros: Lovely welcome, very clean and secure, great breakfast and facilities
When you stay at Hôtel Restaurant Le Bellevue in La Bouille, you'll be on the riverwalk and 13 minutes by car from Rouen Expo Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator.
Pros: We stopped here for dinner last time we drove back up through France and it was the food and service that bought us back this time for the night. La Bouille is by far the nicer place we’ve stopped pre or post Calais. The hotel is quite basic but charming. Rooms are fine - nothing to write home about but clean and comfy. The dining room is traditional and cosy or you can eat on the terrace just across from the Seine. The food has been excellent both times with good attention to detail. The service is outstanding - both of the guys in the restaurant are fantastic. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive.
Cons: The bathrooms are small but the shower was spacious.
Pros: Good breakfast. Lovely views across the Seine
Cons: check in was not until 16.30 which is very late.
Cons: Although we were forewarned by the hotel that its restaurant would be closed and they provided a list of local alternative places to eat, they failed to mention that all but one would be closed on a Monday night. the one remaining restaurant was full so we went hungry as the nearest village/town was too far away.
Pros: Situated on the Seine, good basic hotel for overnight stop. Loved this town with quaint buildings and wonderful promenade along the river. The panels with information on the area and the writers and artists are displayed along the promenade, great idea. I bought the book on the history of La Bouillie at the hotel, 10€, good read and well illustrated. Plenty of little cafés and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was served in delightful dining room looking out on the ríver.
Cons: Everything was good.
Pros: Very nice traditional property
Cons: It’s location and quality of restraint
Pros: A great location in a peaceful village on the Seine. Very helpful and attentive staff. The restaurant was excellent for an evening meal both for service and the quality of the food. Breakfast was very good with a good range of quality goods.
Cons: Sadly, the restaurant is closed on a Friday evening. Although there are several other restaurants in the village, we would have liked to eat at the hotel on our second night of our stay.
Pros: Dinner was excellent, one of the best that we have had in France in the 40 years that we have been travelling.
Cons: A minor point but the shower could have been a little higher up the wall for anyone over 5 feet!
Pros: The river
Cons: Being led to believe there would be a restaurant when there wasn't ... We would never have booked this hotel if we were not mislead by booking.com into believing we could eat there in the evening ......... NO FOOD .... AND ONLY 1 OTHER RESTAURANT OPEN IN THE VILLAGE IF YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE . NEVER AGAIN .
Pros: The staff here were so helpful. We arrived on a Sunday evening, first stopover on a tour. The staff went out of their way to secure a booking at the only restaurant open in the village (les gastronomes - delicious food, lovely people). Breakfast was lovely. The view over the river was beautiful. Great location. Would definitely return.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Lovely dinner. Good breakfast. Nice location.
Cons: Rooms a little basic. Shower not suitable for people over 5.5 ft. And 10 Euro charge for WiFi was excessive as if only worked intermittently.
With a stay at Campanile Rouen Est - Franqueville Saint Pierre in Franqueville-Saint-Pierre, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Rouen Cathedral and Centre d'Histoire Sociale. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Franqueville-Saint-Pierre? This hotel has facilities measuring 269 square feet (25 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Stayed here several times in the past four years. Good value for money and friendly staff.
Cons: Noise from the road, needs double glazing. Bedrooms need air conditioning to work adequately
Pros: We always choose Campanile and never been disappointed before. This room and evening did not live up to expectations.
Cons: Sink drain leaked though the bathroom was a proper wet room so not the end of the world. Big issue was we could not get air unit to chill on a warm night so a very uncomfortable night. Worse still was being in a room in the middle of a coach load of Chinese pensioners who were incredibly loud and we were in the room at the bottom of the staircase so unavoidable that they continually disturbed us - I would have swapped them for a coach load of French school children anytime.
Pros: Location was good for our trip. Supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Room was extremely hot!!!!!!!! We assumed that the room had air conditioning as every other campanile we have stayed in had. The photos showed the control unit and you could see the vents. This is the main reason we chose campanile as an overnight stay on our road trip. PLEASE BE AWARE THE ROOMS DO NOT HAVE ANY AIR CONDITIONING. the reception said its been broken for 4 months and is unrepairable. A very uncomfortable night was had.
Cons: The room smelled, the bed was uncomfortable
Pros: Clean, plenty of parking and friendly
Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t working properly
Pros: Location in city, easy to find and easy to get back on the motorway.
Cons: nothing, fair price for the room.
Pros: Good value and clean - ideal for a stopover
Cons: Do not eat in the attached restaurant. The food is terrible.
Pros: Tipical cheap French hotel but clean and conveniant. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Restaurant was busy with German coach party, no locap options at all. So we had wine and cheese in our room.
Pros: Good location for people with cars
Cons: Too strong odor of some strong cleaning aid.
Pros: Need more pillows please.
Cons: Road noise
Pros: friendly staff and good restaurant
Cons: slightly difficult to find if used as we did, as a transit stop , quite difficult to get back on motorway, as turn offs are not well sign posted and at extremely busy junction in city centre not for feight hearted!
Pros: The staff were helpful in that we booked a room for 3 over the internet for our children and arrived having driven across france for 10 hours to be told they didnt have a room for 3 available, and that they often had problems with internet booking. They pulled a mattress into the room to accomodate.
Cons: Dreadful internet booking service.
Pros: Very clean and fresh. Good online price.
Cons: Reception staff spoke very little English. Did not get what I was promised on the website, namely that I could have an extra bed in the room for free for my 9 yr old child. Hotel staff had no idea about this despite my request clearly shown on my booking invoice and the information that this was indeed the case.
Pros: Very helpful and sympathetic receptionist. Very clean rooms. Free wifi.
Pros: very quiet and close to vital amenities
Cons: the three bedroom room was inadequately prepared for a third person no pillow or duvet . also had to set up the bed myself and the room was a standard size so third bed blocked access to teh fromt door or bathroom yes I booked this hotel via a representative who had asked the hotel or understood from teh hotel tha the rooms would be adjoining and next to each other. When I got there this was not so and the rooms were only on top of each other i.e you had to walk 100 metres to the stairs and walk back so as such were not next to each other
Cons: the room was smelly, fag smoke, the air conditioning system had a musty smell
Pros: Nice room, clean
Cons: the scent of previous smokers in the room
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Only one member of staff was friendly (morning member of staff), The room was dirty with cigarette end in bin. Single bed was broken, also the bedside table broken, We had a connecting door in our room which was not locked and asked a member of staff to check it but was not checked. Have stayed at Campanielle all over Europe and this was by far the worst. Will not be staying at these hotels again
Pros: We were delayed by 6 hours due to a problem with Eurotunnel, I phoned them and they gave me the gate code and couln't be more helpful.
Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful
Cons: We were disappointed to discover that because the hotel was fully booked there was not even 1 spare pillow. One of our party needed to keep his upper body raised and to do this we had to fold up blankets and bed covers.

Pros: AC on the rooms
Pros: Good value for overnight stop. Room was clean. It was easy to check in at Ibis next door.
Pros: Staff were good, very clean hotel good size shower plenty hot water very quiet
Cons: The pillows are a bit thin and you only get one each
Pros: We arrived really late but a member of staff was waiting for us to help us with the payment. Thank you!
Pros: Breakfast very good, There was a bar for the main Hotel we could use.. Parking was good and free. Value for money. Clean.
Cons: Very basic
Pros: The breakfast was great, continental style make your own eggs. Full belly before getting a few miles under our belts.
Pros: Price, clean rooms, parking
Cons: Rooms very basic
Pros: Very modern and clean
Cons: It doesn’t have elevator
Pros: Breakfast was fine
Cons: We booked for the Ibis 3 star with a twin room & breakfast. Yet we ended up being booked into the Ibis Budget which adjoins the same hotel. We were traveling and so did not notice that your confirmation was for the Ibis Budget. Had we seen it in time we would have cancelled. We like normal Ibis Hotels but not the budget ones. Not clear when the booking is switched. Will avoid Ibis in future
Pros: Well designed shower. Next door to McDonalds and a petrol station. Staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: An exceptionaly hot evening and no air conditioning made it difficult to sleep. If a bug screen was on the window it could have been left open.
With a stay at Campanile Rouen Sud - Zénith - Parc Expo in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, you'll be in the business district, within a 15-minute drive of Rouen Cathedral and Rouen Expo Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Room was spotless and bed comfortable. Good breakfast. staff friendly.
Cons: Evening meal experience not a good one. Glass of wine brought covered in bits of cork. Some of order forgotten, Green beans boiled virtually to mush. Had managed to run out of frites.
Pros: Room was very stylish. Good shower and comfy bed. Quiet hotel.
Cons: We were not able to park directly outside our room - we like to be able to do this and it was our understanding that you could do this at campanile hotels.
Pros: Nightmare to find, rooms nice but hotel needs some tlc,Valentine receptionist very helpful.
Cons: Directions to hotel leave a lot to be desired, satnav said we had arrived at destination but in the middle of nowhere
Pros: No biscuit only one water glass no shower mat
Pros: Location is perfect for an othernight stop when travelling to or from the South, just a couple of hours from Calais. Pets are welcome for a small supplement (5€). Staff are helpful, rooms are comfortable, continental breakfast is adequate and parking on site is handy.
Cons: As per our last visit, different room, same couple of very minor issues, the shower did not drain properly and not adequate tea and coffee supplied for both to have a cup of tea and coffee, but that's its.
Pros: pleasant overnight stay good location for our needs.
Cons: pity the restaurant was not open had to travel to find somewhere to eat after a long journey.
Pros: Very nice facility , the area is beautiful , near by the lovely forest and the hotel is small and cozy. It is very good for a holiday where you would like to interact with nature with a small and clean room for staying.
Pros: Location was perfect for an overnight stop parking at the premises was spot on. Room was was clean and had everything required. Staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice.
Cons: Not much just a couple of small things....the room smelt a tiny bit damp due to the shower not quite draining properly and there was only enough teabags for one cup of tea! I went to reception he gave me two more so we could have one and a half cups of tea each!!
Pros: This Campanile exceeded our expectations. The staff were delightful and could not have been more helpful. The room was fine. Kettle, Tea and coffee were a bonus and the huge double bed made for a really good night's sleep. I have to say our dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Far better than what we were expecting. We were going to stay again on our return journey but unfortunately we've had to change our travel plans and are quite disappointed not to be returning.
Cons: Signage from the 'main road' for the Campanile Hotel. Satnav took us close but had to drive around for a few minutes before we located the hotel. If it had been dark it would have been a nuisance.
Pros: Aircon, clean room, quiet and good parking.
Cons: Bit tired looking outside.
See hotel page Near Rouen, in the Seine-Maritime department, Jean-Claude Lourdjane welcomes you to his hotel The Originals City, Hotel Oissel, Rouen South. At this establishment you will find 48 rooms with all the comfort you need. The hotel, in Saint-tienne-du-Rouvray, also has a restaurant and a bar. An ideal destination for a couples getaway or family holiday, as well as for business seminars and meetings.
Pros: Was comfortable clean adequate facilities
Cons: Room, surroundings, location staff help
Cons: Being in time for breakfast and having few croissant left with butter is a shame. Rooms: stains everywhere: table, floor, above bed where you can keep a book or a phone. Toilets: nightmare... "shimmel" all over the place. Smell of the rooms, ahhhhhh!
Pros: Clean. Comfortable. Convenient Good breakfast.
Pros: location , could not be more easy to find the member of staff ,that was working even cooked dinner , perfect
Cons: nothing for the money
Cons: The menu for dinner was very reduced. It would have been better if this had been made clear and we would have the choice to go elsewhere.
Pros: Fantastic stay - perfect location for us who are travelling. The staff were helpful and the rooms really clean and quiet. The staff spoke excellent english which supported our really bad French!
Pros: The sole member of staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Also, we have stayed at this hotel (Campanile, Inter and now Originals) many times as the location is ideal for our journey to South West France. And lastly, parking is always easy and convenient.
Cons: The main dining room could do with a blind at the window as the evening sun is too hot for comfort!
Cons: No breakfast available. Staff member didn't turn up. Lady in hotel next door called manager and offered us breakfast until he arrived. He did offer a discount on next booking. Whole episode was rather a bad start to our day.
Pros: Food was good basic food
Cons: The location in the middle of an industrial estate - metal recycling opposite
Pros: Great location if you just need a stop off from motorway driving.
Stay in the heart of a wooded park at the Novotel Rouen Sud hotel. For your family getaways or business trips, the hotel offers spacious rooms, a restaurant with terrace and seven meeting rooms with free WiFi. Discover Rouen's charming medieval city cente r and its famous cathedral, just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. If you enjoy sports, practice your backhand on our tennis courts or swim a few lengths of our outdoor pool. Combine culture, business and outdoor activities at Novotel.
Cons: None of us could sleep as rooms very hot and not suitable for a family
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Good size room with double sofa bed for 2 children at no additional cost. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of choices at breakfast with ample fresh bread and fruit. Good location for overnight stop on route to Euro tunnel
Cons: Room was a bit hot during the night with no option to adjust the air-con to a lower temperature. Not sure it was even working.
Pros: Perfect location for a stopover on way down France and also on the way back to the UK. Out of Rouen town centre so easy to drive to away from the height restrictions of Rouen which can be problematic. Great secure car park with lots of room which allowed us to leave bikes on the car overnight. Our go to overnight stopover when travelling into France. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but the outside space looked great for unwinding and grabbing a drink or some food.
Cons: Rooms could do with some updating but were perfectly comfortable for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. The lack of aircon could be a little uncomfortable in the very hot evenings but for our stay it was fine.
Cons: Not much around location
Cons: Made a complain and nobody got back to me at the hotel or after !! Not good customer service !!
Pros: Parking was free and easy. Room was ample sized.
Cons: The Restaurant, oh dear....Ordered beef short ribs, came out looking, smelling, and tasting fantastic, only to find it was (fridge temp) cold inside. It's as if they were cooked previously and reheated from fridge/freezer. Shame the cook couldn't get that right. Other dish was meant to come with Roast Veg came with an assortment of boil in the bag looking (and tasting) veg. Not exactly French Cuisine at its finest. Once bitten twice shy, we skipped breakfast opting for the McDonalds 2 mins down the road.
Pros: Perfect stopover for a family driving back from vendee. Good breakfast, midday checkout time which is really handy, plenty of outdoor space to keep the kids entertained (tennis courts, table tennis, swimming pool)
Pros: Tesla charger on site
Cons: Bit far from town
Pros: Decent sized room and well fitted out. Restaurant was surprisingly good and also breakfast was great.
Cons: Nothing to criticise, really. It was better than I thought it would be.
Located in the south of Rouen, opposite the exhibition center and the Zenith, the ibis Rouen Parc des Expos Zénith is easily accessible from the A13 highway and located only 3.7 miles (6 km) from the historic center of Rouen. The hotel has 75 comfortable rooms including 1 room for people with reduced mobility. We also have a bar and 24-hour snack service, free enclosed parking and 4 meeting rooms
Pros: Great location for a stopover and well placed for visiting Rouen. Great breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. We have used this hotel several times.
Cons: Flies buzzing around the food at breakfast time.
Pros: Clean and friendly staffs. Private free Parking
Cons: Far from the center but easily to reach by bus.
Pros: We chose this hotel for its location - opposite to the Zenith Rouen. Qute familiar with Ibis hotels, this is an economoy version of the chain. Rooms were functional but a little cramped, with little light and veryy basic.
Pros: We have stayed before and the hotel is basic but comfortable so ideal for an overnight stop. On this occasion, we were allocated an extra sized room which was great as we had loads of space and a large wet room. When travelling, it always helps to know that there is secure gated parking at the hotel.
Cons: Having visited before, I thought that I knew my way from the local motorway. Unfortunately, there is massive building work going on it the area and the frontage is not accessible so you have to drive round the back roads to the car park. You definitely need a satnav to do this and it would have been helpful if the hotel had warned us of the situation before we got caught up in the road closures on the way in.
Pros: Location and breakfast. Also very quiet
Pros: it was alot more basic than i expected. the rooms were small and not well presented .
Cons: everything was so old and basic
Cons: Charged for breakfast even though I had booked on a pre paid room only basis. This was refunded at reception on request. I wonder if its policy to try hoping you don't notice until its too late.
Pros: Friendly staff and good for an overnight stay on a long journey
Cons: Room was dinky and cramped
With a stay at B&B Hotel ROUEN St Etienne du Rouvray in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Rouen Cathedral and Rouen Expo Park. Featured amenities include an elevator and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: - The bed was very comfortable and with good air conditioning. WiFi and morning breakfast was good.
Cons: The shower had bad draining facility. It has to be manually drained otherwise the water would overflow. The reception time was not followed. They closed the reception 45mins before the closing time(11:15 AM instead of 12) and staff was rude and refused to answer any further questions.
Pros: Good buffet breakfast
Pros: Very nice room. good breakfast. very friendly staff.
Cons: Reception not open long enough. to pricey for this type of hotel
Pros: The clean comfortable room and the excellent breakfast. Very convenient for travelling from Calais via Rouen to other southerly destinations. Good Wi-fi.
Cons: Very limited local facilities for dining. Not a pretty location so definitely for business travellers.
Pros: Staff, helpful and approachable
Cons: Bedroom 1 Window broken, which could have been an issue as we were on ground floor. I reported it on the day we left.
Pros: Nice and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Even let us fill up our flask with coffee.
Cons: Location - looked like middle of industrial estate
Pros: The breaksfast bar had a good selection and was good value
Cons: The location was very industrial and run down
Pros: Good location, clean room which met requirements nicely.
Cons: Didn’t meet any staff so not applicable rather than bad. Only met guy at breakfast which wasn’t great value for money given it was advertised as a buffet but had very limited range and bad filter coffee.
Pros: Receptionist was very friendly and tried to communicate in English. (as I tried in French)
Cons: Rooms were very cramped, bed took up too much room.
Pros: Basic. Rooms were brightly lit and recently renovated but bathroom was tired. The location reflected the pricing. Affordable but don’t pull in too much before planning to sleep.
7.2 Good (517 reviews)

Cons: Pillows. Not good although clean.
Pros: Easy check in via the machine. Great breakfast facitilty
Pros: traditional continental breakfast which was satisfactory. The hotels position close to the main road out of Rouen was convenient. The Hotel was close to a lake/pond some 30 metres away bred flies/etc which attacked people
Cons: The Hotel is extremely run down and requires major refurbishment including decoration. The units reflect the state of the external appearance and also require refurbishment and major cleaning. I wasn't aware in this day and age the sleeping accommodation could be separated from the bathroom/toilet facility by a concetina door
Pros: Clean and secure. Good easy parking. English speaking friendly staff. Very good price
Pros: hi we stop there mabe 6 times a year going back an forward to spain BUT THIS time we noticed the rooms need upgrading an redecorating.NEXT TIME we go we are trying the B_B HOTEL ACROSS THE ROAD UNTILL YOU HAVE CLEANED UP TOUR ACT MANY THANKS G>MORRIS>

Pros: Good bed's breakfast better than some higher priced hotels although basic Well placed for needed rest after 5 hour delay at euro tunnel This is a very basic hotel but not there for a holiday just sleep shower and go We arrived at 3am gate shut but easy access after booking in on machine Please don't expect high end hotel but basic over night stop
Located in Cleon, Campanile Rouen Sud - Cléon Elbeuf is within a 15-minute drive of S2PL Saint Pierre Paintball Loisirs and Rouen Expo Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good and breakfast was plentiful.
Cons: We arrived just before check-in (4.00 pm), but were unable to obtain any drinks (soft or alcoholic) until the restaurant opened at 7.00 pm. Luckily, there is a large supermarket nearby where we were able to obtain sustenance.
Pros: Easy to find and parking easy .
Cons: Nothing all OK
Pros: The Location
Pros: Good quality bed linen and towels which were spotlessly clean.
Cons: Toilet bowl limescale made it look dirty. Shower hose needed replacing but bathroom was clean.
Pros: breakfast was good
Cons: Minor repairs necessary: gap below front door of aptmt( might get a cold draught in wintertime and vermin in the summer), gasket of fdoor of neighbouring aptmt hanging out. Shower hose needs replacement.
Pros: Staff were nice
Cons: I found a half eaten pizza under the bed on arrival so not a good start. The room was not a large quadruple it was a standard double with a pair of bunk beds squeezed in. Not enough room to walk around the beds. This was my third time here and by far the worst.
Cons: Prior notice that for some reason the restaurant is NOT open on a Friday, Sat. or Sunday. When a lot of people are driving across France!!!! Plus avoid weekends unless you enjoy hearing boy racers drive their very noisy cars at high speed on the nearby main road up to 3am. Revamped room is a minor improvement. Situated on a run down estate advertised as due for urban regeneration! After a poor Campanile experience going the other way. This was my last Campanile visit.
Pros: Reception friendly, great help with the evening dining menu
Cons: Shower in the bath was a little basic
Pros: Breakfast was o.k. Not wonderful. We needed a disabled room with a shower, but there were none available. No dinner served on Sunday, so had to go out and find some.
Cons: Better room with user friendly facilities.

Cons: This hotel is no longer an ibis. The location is convenient for the motorway but the area is awful. We were glad for the locking car park. There is also very little nearby for food and drink. I wish we'd chosen the tee pee.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and nice hot shower
Cons: The was a bad smell in the corridor and the shower didn't tilt but it was nice and hot
Pros: Secure parking
Cons: The snoring of the guy in the next room
Pros: Good value for money, arrived late at night and there were some issues with credit card machine however staff was nice and helpful and all was resolved in the morning
Pros: Cheap and cheerful
Cons: Old dated building
Pros: The hotel was functional. I was travelling late at night on my motorbike, it was raining and I needed a place to stay. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had hot water. I was able to get rest and charge my phone and satnav. My motorbike was safe due to a private car park with security gate.
Cons: Breakfast didn't start until 7am. I had to leave to catch my ferry at 6.30am yet there was no offer of allowing me to grab something before i departed the hotel.
Pros: The member of staff who booked us in was pleasant + friendly.
Cons: Although the room was generally clean but very simply furnished, my guess is that the bedding had not been changed from the previous guest. When we threw back the duvet, we found long blonde hairs on the sheet under the duvet. We couldn't be sure of the cleanliness of the sheet. Not a pleasant experience. As it was quite late in the night, we didn't want to disturb the proprietor but consequently sat awake all night waiting for the morning. Quite a disappointing experience.
Pros: The beds are very comfy.
Pros: A clean, basic bed for a stopover.
Cons: Not great choice at breakfast but adequate
