10.0 Excellent
Pros: It has been one of the best places I've ever been! The host Geneviève is adorable and very hospitable. We immediately felt at home and this was even before we saw our room. It really exceeded our expectations. Geneviève has decorated the place with her heart & soul (it's her profession as well ;-)) and we wandered around the place falling from one surprise into the other and eventually we fell in love with the house (and a little bit with Geneviève as well). Breakfast is a real treat, whatever you can think about for breakfast, Geneviève had it and most of it was home-made.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All our family, including our two young children, absolutely loved this property. Our room was super spacious, with two sleeping areas, a sitting area and bathroom. So much thought has gone into the furnishings and the decoration and we loved the style of the whole property. The owner Genevieve was so friendly and welcoming to us and she makes the place extra special. And the breakfast was delicious and very plentiful!
Cons: The Wifi was rather erratic and slow but this wasn't a major issue for us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location in the beautiful old village of Penne d'Agenais is ideal, with easy free parking in the square. The bedroom was lovely and spacious with interesting and attractive decor. The bed was really comfortable with big soft pillows. There was also a good-sized and comfy sofa. The bathroom was also spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was superb with homemade jams, fruit 'soup', brioche, cereal bread and caramelised apples, local croissants and pain au chocolat, and smoked ham and cheese - an absolute feast! The proprietor speaks excellent English and knows the area intimately so can provide any required information. She is very welcoming and an excellent cook, having previously run the Maison sur la Place as a restaurant.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Geneviene, our hostess and property owner, was helpful and provided useful suggestions and tips on area sites. The hotel was selected by us for its central location to a number of major medieval villages and chateaus in the area. The hotel location is in the center of Penne d'Agenais, a quiet and quaint village, with public parking just at its doorstep. The room was clean, large, and tastefully decorated with the personal touches of the owner. Breakfast was generous with fresh breads, fruit and homemade yogurt and toppings. The hotel was a welcome and restful retreat after a day of touring.
Cons: The hotel and its location in the village is excellent. however, the village is quiet with minimal nightlife and a limited numbers of restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmospheric interior, the spaciousroom, the very friendly hostess
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful Chambre d'hôte! The room was incredible, contemporary, culture crawling design throughout the house. Comfortable, quiet, welcoming, caring and considerate. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had across all of France! Loved the doggy 'Gudulle' and wanted to take with me :) The bathroom, on a duplex level is fit for a queen! Was able to park right outside. I wish to come back in the future and I definitely will.

Pros: This is a beautiful spot run immaculately by hostess Annick and her family. We could only stay for one night (alas) but had a blissful time for the brief time we were there enjoying the swimming pool, the beautiful environment and Annick's amazing cooking. Her table D'Hote dinner was delicious as was breakfast (which you serve yourself from a well-stocked buffet while gazing out at the fields beyond). Everything is very well thought out, from the kitchenette by the pool to the children's play area. Wonderful.
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Large pool Honesty bar
Cons: I was surprised to find that only cash payment is accepted - I don't recall seeing that anywhere on the Booking.com website; and it certainly didn't mention it on my booking confirmation. Slightly embarrassing when checking out!

Pros: Host is superb. Breakfast is fantastic!
Cons: Got a bit lost using the satnav!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly and very helpful owner. My Glamping Pod was very clean. The whole place is extremely clean. Arrived after having caught a 1am ferry from Dover and driven through the night. Bed was really comfortable and I slept like a log. The showers are really great!!
Cons: Travelling on my own this time, wish my wife and kids were here. They would have loved the games room with table football, pool table and table tennis.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting is beautiful and also quiet. The room is large and very well equipped. There is lots of equipment to keep you entertained during the day and evening if you stay in. Annick and Luc were wonderful hosts and Annick is a great cook. There was a fantastic buffet breakfast and Annick cooks a delicious dinner if required... but you need to tell her at breakfast if you want it. There are a plenty of places to visit close by and enough restaurants within 15 mins drive if you wish to have variety. This is a quiet area of France so you just have to do a bit of research to find them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing! What a beautiful place! And the owner, Annick, could not be anymore accomadating. She was wonderful. The kitchen was perfect, there was lots to do and even a baby room for the little one to play. The accommodation was beautiful.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Wonderful hosts - so friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. We were attending a wedding in nearby Savignac-sur-Leyze and, although the property is fairly rural, taxis were arranged to/from the wedding with no problem. We would absolutely visit again, hopefully for longer next time so we can fully enjoy the beautiful location!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our brief stay at the Moulin. The owners are very friendly and helpful- Marie-Claude gave us handy local tips and recommendations and a bit of local history too! Lots of lovely extras to make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and spacious. Wide choice for breakfast, too. We would definitely stay here again if travelling through the region.

10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is stunning, overlooking the river Lot. The accommodation is rustic, quirky, spacious and spotlessly clean. There are only 2 bedrooms, so it wouldn’t be suitable for a large group/family, but it’s a very romantic setting for couples. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. She doesn’t speak much English, but it was easy enough to communicate with expressive gestures and simple French!
Cons: The breakfast could have been fresher. There was a good choice of products but the cereals, jams etc. had all seen better days.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, Great Hospitality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Over our 2 stays, we occupied each of the 2 rooms. They were both clean and well appointed, with beautiful views overlooking the river. Guests also have the use of a large lounge with TV and a kitchen and dining room downstairs. The owner is charming and we were made to feel very welcome. I can highly recommend this place.
Cons: In my previous review, I was a little critical of the breakfast. On reflection, and following a second stay, I should report that the breakfast was very good - although I would have appreciated a second croissant!!
