Pros: Awesome interiors, very comfortable, very pleasant family. Gorgeous house in a beautiful location
Pros: Location was wonderful, comfortable, very friendly hosts.
Pros: All of the breakfast was 'home made' and grown. and baked in house
Cons: Directions to the property
Pros: A family home in a historical building, the friendliness of the owners, the projects they were involved with, other guests.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Pros: Beautiful building. Lots of old features and charm well mixed with modern bathroom and well thought out decoration. Pleasant family Nice pool. Nice home made breakfast
Cons: No complaints
Pros: The hosts were so helpful and obliging. We especially appreciated the quality and design involved in restoring and renovating this beautiful house.
Cons: Nothing could have been better. It was great!
Pros: Lovely property, although very remote. Hosts were very accommodating. Drive us to restaurant and picked us up thereafter...many thanks
Pros: Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast
Pros: A wonderfully renovated house . Work is still in progress but a wonderful story from the owners and a great vision !

After you've arrived, you can enjoy the bar, the lounge area with foosball table and the Le Jardin des Jacobins restaurant where you can enjoy our all-you-can-eat service. Guests can get the day off to a great start with breakfast served from 5:30am. See you soon!
Pros: The hotel was quiet and the bed very comfy. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating.
Cons: The location was not ideal without having a car and getting a taxi was difficult. While the reception was trying to get us a taxi one of the staff members who were about to leave offered to take us to our destination. That wasn’t at all expected but was highly appreciated!
Pros: I've stayed here before and thought it was a lovely building .. probably higher than a budget class... I guess the lack of a lift effects the rating. Nice big bathroom compared to most budget. Bar and large eating area, evening meal and breakfast are available, nice little garden area too. Right next to the autoroute and with a big Géant mall nearby. Can't fault anything.
Cons: Well it has no lift ... No big deal as there are only two floors. The guy on reception was polite but not personable. I saw women on reception who seemed very nice. I thought it was odd that a guy got me out of bed to answer the door at 8:44am to see if the room was empty yet. Didn't appreciate that. Why not give us a piece of card to hang on the door when we've left?
Pros: Usually I don't stay in this class hotels but I was positively surprised. Excellent for this price. Really nice staff. Amazingly tasty dinner and service. Good size and comfortable bed. Very nice restaurant. Room and hotel clean.
Cons: Bathroom would need some works but as expected in this class hotel.
Pros: Good location Clean
Cons: A little expensive for the basic room you get
Pros: Location good Staff helpful and friendly
Pros: The staff were very helpful and professional with excellent English language. The breakfast was good and nicely presented.
Cons: The room was a bit small and so hot Air conditioning or a fan would be a great help.
Pros: Perfect overnight stay enroute to South of France
Pros: Nice little bar, nice restaurant, very close to the motorway exit
Cons: Could do with a few paint touch ups

Pros: Location 10 minutes walking to train station and historical center Confortable quiet room Good value for money Helpful staff
Cons: No in room safe No minibar
Pros: breakfast was ok , afterall it isnt a 4 star but the staff were really friendly and breakfast was costantly being replenished. bed was comfortable room was small but for the price it was fine as was the parking . very secure .
Cons: the pillows in our room were awful , and there was no heating in the hotel areas etc but there were notices up a heater was supplied in bedroom however.. feel this should have been communicated to people who were booked before hand!! Towels really small
Cons: Lactose free drinks Gluten free bread
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean. Central. Good continental breakfast including the coffee. Good hot powerful shower.
Cons: Rooms a bit small. Small breakfast room. Not as close to the station as it sounds, but not far.
Cons: The elevator was not working and the stairs smelled very bad. The shower curtain is super annoying. It is all the time moving to the inside of the bath making you touch it while showering. It is time to change to crystal screen, much more clean and comfortable. There are not plugs close to the bed.
With a stay at Hotel Campanile Agen in Agen, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Parc des Expositions and within a 5-minute drive of Stade Armandie. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Planning an event in Agen? This hotel has facilities measuring 323 square feet (30 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great value for money.
Cons: Internet didn’t work and the waste paper basket had not been emptied since the last guest
Cons: It smelled really bad. It smelled like an old cellar.... not nice.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good breakfast and Dinner
Cons: A little far out of the centre.
Pros: Great location as we needed to visit the hospital near by.
Cons: It was a shame that the restaurant was not open weekends and that information was not easy to see/read on the Website
Pros: Reception lady very nice
Pros: Food was excellent
Cons: We arrived at about 5pm after a 600. Km drive only to be told that the bar and restaurant would not be opening that night. I was very angry, being tired, thirsty and hungry. After all what is ahotel for but to offer rest and relaxation? The receptionist did not have list of alternative restaurants but merely told us that there was a cafeteria in the local supermarket!!;On top of all this I did not receive a confirmation of my booking so I rebooked to find that I had paid twice. The receptionist did not know how to credit the double payment and we had to wait until the morning for more qualified staff to assist. It still took 4 days for the sum to recredited. I have used Camponile many times but have now found them to only interested in maximum profit and minimum service. There are many new hotel groups starting up and I intend to to use them in the future.
Pros: Staff and Restaurant
Cons: Building and small rooms are old and run down.
With a stay at Première Classe Agen in Agen, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Parc des Expositions and within a 5-minute drive of Stade Armandie. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff.
Pros: Bed was comfortable, coffee was good
Cons: This is a cheap hotel in a horribly uninteresting part of Agen. When we arrived, by bike, our reservation code didn't work in the automatic check-in, there was no answer to the phone number, we had no alternative but to go back into town with heavily laden bikes and return at 5 pm. The receptionist was completely unapologetic about the useless code. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, there were strange stains on the wall, the TV didn't work, the shower tray flooded the bathroom, and the toilet was positioned so high that your feet didn't reach the ground. Breakfast was so badly organised that we were forced to queue into the car park.
Pros: Brilliant room as wife is disabled perfect for manoeuvre ing ,shower room good
Cons: There were no outside blinds to windows but not a problem the breakfast was very poor ,not worth bothering with
Pros: The all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast selection is standard fare - adequate, but nothing special - if you've stayed at a Première Classe before, you'll know what to expect. It'll set you up for the day
Cons: I've stayed at a Première Classe before, in Toulouse. Like that one, it's fine as a base to go touring in the area, or if just passing through. The location in Agen is somewhat bleak, on a fairly deserted commercial and light industrial estate on the edge of town, which means dining options are either the adjacent Campanile hotel's restaurant, or a drive (McDonald's and 'Le Dynastie' Asian restaurant, both 5 mins)
Pros: Cleanliness of room overall was very good and a comfortable bed. Ideal for our purposes and near to KFC and other outlets for food.
Cons: Not much to be honest except maybe one hand towel in the room would be handy, otherwise no complaints.
Pros: It was adequate, you get what you pay for
Cons: Slightly cramped rooms

With a stay at B&B Hôtel AGEN in Agen, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Parc des Expositions and Stade Armandie. Featured amenities include an elevator and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent value for money. Room was small but only there for 1 night. Handy for the rugby ground. Breakfast was good. Plenty places to eat nearby.
Cons: Room small. No kettle, tea coffee. It is in an industrial area but very close to the rugby ground which is why we were there.
Pros: Great price and location
Pros: Standard motel chain, you know what to expect: a bare-bones room but clean. Sufficient number of outlets for all your gadgets is a plus.
Cons: Very thin pillows -- you wake up with a stiff neck.
Pros: Clean, nice, good location, very pleasant and helpful staff, Cristophe at the reception desk is really great, he helped me and solved every issue that I had. I highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: I liked everything.
Pros: There was no breakfast provided in the price. We called into a boulangerie en route to get a breakfast the next day as indeed we did on a couple of occasions. After a long cycle we were just happy to have a place to rest our head. it was pretty basic but there were a couple of eateries fairly close by so we were OK for an evening meal. The lady on reception was great! She deserves a mention for being very helpful!
Cons: It was ideal for 4 cyclists looking for shelter and a bed. I wont rave about it because it doesn`t warrant it.

Pros: Cosy bed
Cons: Motorway next to the hotel The cleaning of the restroom haven’t been performed with care (hair + urine)
Pros: The hotel was clean, modern and easy to find. The booking in process was quick and the staff were polite and helpful. The room was on the ground floor and we could see the car from our bedroom window. All fixtures and fittings were clean, in a good state of repair and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I was very pleased to see that there was a kettle with a choice of teas and some biscuits waiting for us in the room.
Cons: Nothing really, it was all very pleasant. Some reviewers have mentioned the location as being industrial but I didn't find it unpleasant; no it's not in an historic part of town but I did get a good night's sleep as it was quiet and finding our way back to the motorway the next morning was easy.
Pros: Simple breakfast - nice quality
Cons: Shower floor is very slippery - needs hand holds
Pros: Everything else. The service is friendly and welcoming, the rooms look modern and are clean. The bed is very good! If I have to make a stop along this road in the future, I would certainly come back again.
Cons: Location. No-one can help it, but at this not so nice looking (industrial) intersection of main roads, this hotel is still the best option. There's not much you can do about the location, it's an industrial area. But hey, it's like it is.
Pros: Location to motorway.
Cons: Despite letting the hotel know we would be late arriving staff did not inform us that we would require 2 codes to enter the car park and access our room. Over half an hour of trying eventually found a telephone number to try ‘ in a n emergency “. Better communication needed!
Pros: Typical travel hotel
Cons: No good in an evening and not fully up front about what was available
With a stay at Contact Hôtel le Provence in Agen, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Place Goya and Notre Dame Du Bourg. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage.
Pros: The room was large and bed was comfortable
Cons: The hotel is old but clean
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Scruffy area of town, must be a better location but I don't know where.
Pros: Good small basic hotel with friendly owner.
Cons: On a busy main road
Pros: The room was basic but large enough to accommodate us (a family of four). It wasn't 4 star but then again the price tag wasn't 4 star. Hotel staff were helpful and cheerful. Great for what we wanted.
Pros: Bed was comfy. Shower was good. Really good about late check in. Code for door and security box information messaged.
Cons: Hotel seemed to be in the middle of update or at least some jobs been done. Screws and panel left off the bed in room. Some of the sockets didn’t work. Window in shower paint pealing. Just felt old and in need of renovation. Didn’t see anyone on the reception all weekend.
Pros: The beds were very comfortable, with decent bed linen. For France the room was spacious. There was a good choice of fruits, pastries etc for breakfast.

Located in Laplume, Chateau de Lassalle is within a 15-minute drive of Lac de Lamontjoie and Iriseraie de Papon. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Located in a beautiful countryside Chateau Lassalle is a good place to relax. It is charming in a 'shabby chic' way. However, it is quite isolated and one depends on the hotel for breakfast and dinner. It is not the best for visiting Agen and other sites.
Cons: The breakfast and especially dinner are overpriced. We would not recommend it as a place to stay for city trips.
Pros: We were the only guests for dinner but were very well looked after by the Head Waiter.
Pros: The staff were so kind and helpful. We had our dog with us and this proved to be no problem at all. What a treat to find a nice hotel in France!
Pros: The suite was beautiful. The setting was lovely and we had a wonderful meal in the garden- the staff were friendly and looked after us well.
Cons: The chairs in the breakfast room were not brilliant for my husband who was suffering with a bad back.

Pros: Central location. Helpful staff. Quiet room.

Pros: Great pool and fantastic restaurant food was excellent
Cons: No aircon in our room
Pros: Very comfortable and lovely staff beautiful chateau. The area does not offer a lot to do
Cons: No disable access stairs a problem
Pros: Pool was amazing... Food was also amazing once we got it... 2 hour wait. Reception area and public areas done to a high standard and reception very helpful.
Cons: First room was very basic and dated... Bit cheap but ended up upgrading to garden view for 40 euros. Luckily this had air con and was larger but bathroom still dated. Food was amazing in the restaurant but they had a bad night on service (as new staff) and took 1 hour to get even a drink. Also quite close to main road and train track but nit too much of an issue. No fridge in room and was hot hot hot.
Cons: You could with a toaster a basic for breakfast The major problem was how hot it was in the rooms. You will need air con.
Pros: Beautiful place if slightly cheaply renovated. Great pool for the kids. Staff were friendly if a bit lost for local recommendations. Not super family-friendly but overall we were happy with our stay.
Cons: The location - very tricky to access by bike from the canal
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful! Assistance was given when we asked for it. The pool area is very nice indeed.
Cons: There was no kitchen open, no pre-warning was given, the bar was closed earlier than advertised, we came in for a drink at 8pm and it was closed. There were about 15 spiders in our room which was uncomfortable unfortunately.
Pros: Lovely building
Cons: Odd attitude to guests and fixated with locked doors
Pros: very nice castle feeling and comfort
Cons: Very modern and small Bed. Overall not really a castle inside
Pros: Nice location, beautifull building and swimming pool
Cons: No air conditioning in the room, outdated rooms

Pros: Beautiful old Manor House and fantastic food and service.
Cons: Rooms a bit tired and could have been cleaner - spiders webs etc.
Pros: Hot Chocolate and croissants were perfect
Pros: The architecture of the property is delightful, only exceeded by the friendliness of the staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and the food and wine very good and French, not just catering for foreigners. We would go back just to have a couple of days off together. There is a busy road nearby, but that is good for travellers' ease in finding the property.
Pros: Staff were super helpful.
Cons: Some road noise during the night.
Pros: Fine. Beautiful area.
Cons: Thicker curtains to cut down light would have made a big difference to me
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Toilet seat loose, shower attach broken, window latch broken, melon unripe at dinner
With a stay at Brit Hotel Agen - L'Aquitaine in Le Passage, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Stade Armandie and Aqualand Agen. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
Pros: location to motorway
Cons: Not of the same standard as northern Brit Hotels, very dated.
Pros: The hotel is to be recommended, very Clean, very quiet and not too far from nearby Agen. The restaurant was excellent... not expensive, and food was excellent. Perhaps the hotel is a little basic, but upmarket ‘basic’.

With a stay at Hotel Restaurant du Lac in Boe, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Parc des Expositions and within a 5-minute drive of Stade Armandie. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff try to make the best of a bad set up
Cons: The hotel is located on a main road, near an industrial park. It has no charm. The rooms are cramped and the bathroom is minimal. The WiFi was erratic
Pros: Lovely staff, clean, good location.
Pros: We booked this hotel for a stopover of one night during our drive from St Malo to Tarragona. It is very close to the motorway and easy to find. The host, Paul, is very friendly and speaks English. We had dinner in the restaurant which was a set menu. They were short staffed so it was a bit chaotic but the food was good. The restaurant is only open from 7pm to 8.45pm so if you want to eat there you should let them know in advance. We nearly didn't get a table.
Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable and we didn't sleep well which was a shame as we had a long drive the next day.
Pros: Evening meal was good
Pros: Staff friendly, polite and helpful. Easy to get there from the Véloroute des Deux-Mers
Pros: Great location close to the motorway. Staff were very friendly. Great value for the room rates. Restaurant was nicely appointed and food was great too. Definitely a place to stay again.

A stay at Chateau des Jacobins places you in the heart of Agen, within a 5-minute walk of Musee des Beaux-Arts and Notre Dame Du Bourg. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely old chateau building close to main high street , did not stop for breakfast but looked very good, in nice old lounge, secure parking was a welcome as had a car full of goods
Cons: Ok unless you want modern comforts , fittings and furniture very old and a bit out of sync with the building
Pros: Fresh food at breakfast, cheerful, friendly owner.
Cons: Tea and coffee provision in bedrooms would have been good!
Pros: A most interesting and unusual hotel in the centre of Agen. Owned and run by a man who lives there as his home, with his aged grandmother. If it is 5 star luxury you want, then this place is not for you, but if you enjoy quirkiness and effectively staying in a room in someone’s home then this is for you. We had a lovely big room and separate bathroom. Plenty of extra blankets, clean towels each day and the owner is charming. We had informed him that we did not want breakfast but on our first morning he made a mistake and bought food in: he asked us to eat it but did not charge us, which was a nice touch. In these days of platstic Americanised formality in most hotels, this place was a very refreshing change.
Cons: No kettle, tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also, as it is the owner’s home, he chooses when to shut all the external doors, so do pay attention to his instructions about how to get in late at night!
Pros: Interesting chateau Prunes!
Cons: Host was a smoker in the house That should be noted for guests
Pros: This is a beautiful house, with family furniture and pictures, which have been added to over the years - so it feels like a very nice home. Our host was very welcoming. The position is brilliant - right in the historic centre, and just opposite the church which is now an exhibition space for the town art gallery. Our room and bathroom were extremely spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was nice. We had a lovely stay.
Cons: Very nice on all fronts. I warmly recommend this hotel. The owner Stephane is very nice. Beautiful old style building with superb decoration.
Pros: Beautiful old building in a lovely location
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing, not much selection.
Pros: Location was good and rooms were very clean and well equipped.
Cons: The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in entrance and other hallways (though not in our no smoking room) and an elderly persistent dog who hassled us at breakfast time.

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Pont-du-Casse? This hotel has facilities measuring 516 square feet (48 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely pool and very friendly staff. Short drive to pont du casse. Enjoyed breakfast.
Cons: The room got very warm at night (it was heatwave), we only had three pillows between two of us on the first night. There was a small fan in the room but it was still warm. The room is also quite small.
Pros: Warm welcome....very friendly owners...very nice food & very good service.
Pros: Lovely swimming pool. Very clean and welcoming. Coffee available in reception at most times.
Cons: Rooms a liittle small for large suitcases otherwise very good.
Pros: The proprietor was not expecting to provide an evening meal but said she would rustle something up. What came was a delight - a full choice menu excellently cooked. She was in the process of up-grading the hotel and is succeeding.
