Pros: The location was excellent. The breakfast was superb
Pros: Staff and breakfast faultless
Cons: Rooms were tiny. Not what you expect for s superior double. Had to book the spa well in advance and it wasn’t that good
Pros: Staff exceeded expectations. So helpful and friendly. Location great. Nicely appointed hotel. Spa was also nice.
Cons: Bathroom door a bit rickety and doesn’t exactly make bathroom private. Would be good if hotel guests had a little priority for spa booking or were notified that therapies almost fully booked so could be booked in advance.
Pros: It is a beautiful location and the views are spectacular.
Cons: When we arrived the reception staff informed us that they had a private function and that the bar and restaurant were not available to us. It was the last day of the season and there were NO other facilities in the area.I feel very strongly that the hotel should not have accepted bookings for that date. The hotel was closing for the season the following day!!! The room was exceptionally small we tried to change to a larger room but this was not recommended as the bigger room was near the wedding party. Very dissatisfied with the overall experience. Breakfast the following morning was chaotic. No tables were cleared there was no cutlery and the staff were unhelpful.
Pros: location breakfast
Pros: Very clean, and stylish hotel. The room with balcony had a great view. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The staff seemed a bit disorganized. We had several issues at checkout.
Pros: We liked the communal Lounge , dining areas
Cons: The rooms are very very small and we upgraded
Pros: Fantastic Hotel in front of the Slopes !
Cons: The bathroom is quite small.
Pros: Incredibly helpful staff. We messed up the dates if iyr reservation but canged it wuth no charge and even upgraded our room. Excellent breakfast and fantastic facilities. They provided tennis racquets and balls gratis for us. The site states that therejis a charge fkr the spa but all was free and open.
Cons: Lacked a/c and room climate control was sub optimal. However the cool mountain air was great in the summer.
Pros: Location and ambiance’
When you stay at Hôtel Plein Sud in Saint-Chaffrey, you'll be near ski lifts, within a 15-minute drive of Ecrins National Park and Chantemerle Serre Chevalier Ski Resort. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly helpful staff, cheerful relaxed atmosphere, lively bar. Lovely pool and seating area. Nice balcony. Good breakfast and dinner.
Pros: Very helpful and acomodatting with great food
Pros: Super comfortable room with a great view. Really friendly staff. Restaurant served good food at value for money prices. Swimming pool and surrounding terrace and lawns were a real plus.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Great location across from the slopes.
Cons: Booked a double bed and was given 2 twins pushed together “Italian”. Also didn’t have a hair dryer in the room and refrigerator didn’t work. Staff was also rude (well mainly one lady in particular pretty sure she ran the place too so not good).
Pros: Room good, bed comfy and generous size.
Cons: Wifi was patchy at best. Sometimes wouldn't connect from room and pretty slow even in the bar
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good, wide choice of foods. Pleasant bar, reasonably priced. Hotel not far from pistes - five to ten minutes to ski lift by foot. Parking available just in front of hotel. Garden balcony with view to ski slopes pleasant.
Cons: The welcome was poor, and not very efficient. For the price paid I would have expected better appointed rooms. Dinner in the evening, the quality was indifferent and the portions small. When I told the waiter what I thought of the meal - in particular small portions, he checked with the chef and told me I could have more to eat if I paid more! That was an immediate put-off, and we did not dine in the hotel again during our stay. While most staff were pleasant, the owner was not. She was brusque, unsmiling, and certainly not welcoming. The swimming pool, undercover, was not really heated enough to enjoy; a quick dip and out. There was a sauna but not functioning. The pool generally was rather sad. Certainly not tempting after a day's skiing.
Pros: nice swimming pool, close to the telepherique in summer, which gives access to nice walking trails up
Cons: small room for three persons (one adult, two youngsters). the traffic through the village is intense and noisy
