Good quality room with excellent view. Indoor pool and spa facilities. Meal in hotel restaurant exceptional. Nothing.
Nice location and good value The fact that even though you have a booked a room you do not automatically get a reservation for the dining room, we had to eat in Le Chatre (very pleasant) but the idea of the overnight stop was to not use the car. An email to the traveller asking if they would prefer dinner would be a good idea or offer room only and half board options.
We woke to a wonderful view - having arrived in the dark Only that arriving in the dark we found it hard to find & we thought we were at least heading for some industrial silo - which turned out to be the hotel - at a particular angle
The hotel is out in the French countryside. There is very little around this hotel so it is a good get-away. The rooms are very clean. The "double" beds are two twins pushed together with separate bedding but they are very comfortable. Very quiet location. The hours for the swimming pool and workout room are very restrictive if you plan on doing other things during the day. They are only open from 0900-1900. However, they do offer both an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a reasonable workout room if you can use them during these hours.
It was a lovely looking hotel, with a nice pool, the breakfast buffet, although expensive was lavish, it was a good location only being a 5min drive from Chatre Our room was a little tired, it looked good initially, but in the bathroom the fixtures were coming away from the wall and the shower leaked. Also we were waiting for it to be cleaned at 5pm on the day we were checking in!!
View from the balcony in the room was lovely, indoor and outdoor pool, though we didn't have time to try these, they looked very nice! Room very clean and spacious for the money. Evening meal choice is very limited, no room service, 4 course sit down meal starting at 7:30 for €32 a head in the restaurant or nothing. This wasn't convenient for us as our 1 year old daughter was in bed and neither of us wanted a big meal, and didn't feel comfortable about leaving her in the hotel room on her own. I ended up driving back to La Chatre to get some take-out food. Would have been nice if they did a room service menu.
Breakfast in the morning on the outside balcony. The view from the rooms. The room and bathroom where very comfortable. No coffee making facilities in the room.Charging for a very poor quality robe in the swimming/spa area.Restaurant has a very limited menu.
Large room with beautiful view of pool and golf course. Good parking facilities. The outdoor pool was lovely and clean and l enjoyed a swim. It was nice to have a safe in room for valuables and the air con unit was very effective It would have been nice to know that there was extensive renovation work in progress and only one restaurantt and bar open. This gave us littel choice of food and the meal cost more than the room! Having said that , the food was excellent and the restuarant staff were excellent and very attentive to our needs. There were breakfast trays left on the floor outside rooms for most of the day which was rather unpleasant, but our breakfast in the room was lovely.
It was a surprise to find such a high quality hotel in the area. The cuisine was excellent and the dining facilities comfortable and inviting.
beautiful views from bedrooms and dining rooms.Good choice of food at breakfast. dinner very good but restaurant rather expensive-especially the wine!!
Staff very pleasant
helpful friendly staff. An outdoor pool at their sister apartments over the road. Nice town. rooms a bit small, restaurant menu not very child friendly
The fantastic welcome
poor attitude of some staff spoiled our trip see above
easy to find and efficient for a business trip
Very clean. Staff very obliging when 2 extra pillows were requested Although few guests staying whilst we were there, the room we were allocated had a very uninteresting view. I feel that we could have been offered a room with better view.
Good bed. Good fan. No shower (or curtain around bath). No air-conditioning. We managed but both are a problem in hot weather, particularly for large or fat people who find baths awkward to manage.
Privacy, polite staff
On an industrial estate, but apparently not far from town. It was a boiling hot day, so we only ventured to the neighbouring air-conditioned Auchun with the children. Very good food in restaurant, with buffet starter that was excellent for us vegetarians. Ground floor rooms with doors, so could drive round and park outside. We had 2 interconnecting rooms - ideal for a family with children. I liked most things, but we could have been anywhere.... We stayed in a hotel in the centre of the town on the way down and the town is really very pretty and interesting.
Only stayed overnight on route to the South of France on motorbike trip. Clean, Good size rooms, Staff very nice. Recommend to fellow bikers
Due to tunnel closure in Spain we were going to arrive late. The Hotel was kind enough to give me the access code, placed a key near my room and attached a letter welcoming us and hoping we had had a good journey. I cannot praise the staff enough and the young lady the following morning also made us feel very important and welcome. An excellent choice Rating 10/10 None
We enjoyed the restaurant and friendly helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms excellent We found the rooms a little too hot
It was in an industrial park! I would not have booked this if I knew that. Not convenient to anything.
Good Breakfasts Beds too low not enough towels and no tea bags or milk
communicants rooms and parking near the windouws no
The variety at breakfast was very good. The hotel staff (gentleman)available the evening of my arrival and the morning we left was very very nice and helpful. The only thing I did not like is that I had a very difficult time finding it due to a lack of adequate signage on the road.
