We enjoyed the quiet countryside location. The pool was nice. The walls were thin. Could hear everything next door and in the hallways. The front desk staff was not very friendly.
Near to Mont Venteoux for cycling.
Relatively large rooms compared to others in area, good breakfast, great location to be by lavender fields
The chef who did all the cooking was absolutely lovely and made our stay extremely pleasant .. if it were not for her (Veronique) we could have come away feeling much less happy. There were no carpets on the floor and the floor was fairly dirty. There was no choice of a buffet breakfast.
The hotel is in a great location for traveling along the Lavandin Route. The staff was very friendly, and they tried to help even though they spoke no English. The hotel seemed more like a hostel. Accomodations were meager and very uncomfortable. This is a one star hotel at best. Although it was advertised that the staff spoke English, they do not.
The hotel proprietors made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent
Absolute perfection! Wonderful room, great swimming pool, exquisite gourmet food, very friendly staff. Best hotel that I ever stayed at.
Service, facilities, cooking…All was the excellent. I spent very good time.
Overwhelming new hotel surrounded by vineyards and with a view on the Luberon montains and provided with all confort. Its feels like coming home in the Provence.
Beautiful location, great service (especially little unexpected touches like turning down service and chocolates, bathrobes etc). Large pool, great views and close to a lot of picturesque villages in the region. Even though it is pricey we thought we got good value for money. Unfortunately, despite asking in the morning, no vegetarian meal was provided at the bistro for dinner. They indicated something would be prepared but I ended up just eating side dishes. Would have gone somewhere else for dinner if I had known. For non-vegetarians the meal was good.
Set in beautiful countryside, quiet, well designed, and with a great restaurant. Already planning a return trip.
Drop dead gorgeous views. Food was overrated but the facilities are top notch and the staff was great.
The lay out and individuality of the suites really wonderful.A hotel but with the freedom of your own space .Pool area very relaxing and peaceful.Catering for fine dinning and also more relaxed atmosphere of the seconed resturant. The views. All in all very pleasant stay.cleaness of the whole estate. The lack of a spa.
The pool is fabulous and the outside dining was wonderful......The service at the pool was great and the staff in general was very attentive to what ever your needs were.. My husband and I biked all around the area...we will definately return to this hotel. Wonderful atomosphere.. we'll always remember our stay!! Nothing!!!
The hotel was located top of the hill in Luberon. This is one of the kind hotel. Room, staff, amenities etc...are very marvelous. My children were very pleased with the heated outside swimming pool. The breakfast is bit poor and pricy. They charged 15 euro(same as adults) for breakfast to my 3 years old son. It should be charged half or free!
Everything was just great. The rooms are small cottage appartments in a row, but very well equiped. The complex is located inside a vineyard with stunning views all around. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside if the temperature and wind allow for. They offer nice wines from their own vineyard (and from elsewhere of course). The restaurant offers moderately priced meals, which are not really haute cuisine, but nevertheless very well prepared.
The hotel is a beautiful property and the swimming pool quite nice. The lack of air conditioning in 35 degree celsius heat was unbearable and prevented me and my family from sleeping at all. The comment when asked about AC was that the hotel was a 12th century property, but since it was obvious the hotel had been renovated, it is silly to claim the age of the property as the reason for no AC--after all, they didn't have indoor plumbing in the 12th century either, but they managed to build that into the renovations.
No air conditioning
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Nothing I did not like about it.
Nice location No air conditioning - hot, sticky rooms. Very odd staff - not at all helpful. Set menu in restaurant - absolutely no choice - poor quality food - no other restaurants nearby. Uncomfortable stay
Fabulous pool. Comfortable room. Good food. Kind and unobtrusive service.
The pool and a family environment.
The swimming pool. Front Desk staff were very unfriendly. Did not have a place for us to take dinner in the hotel and we had to go out.
Friendly and welcoming atmosfere in the hotel Smoking - there were people during evening who can smoke in the restaurant and lobby so non fumer have no chance to enjoy evening there
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are little houses al beautifully decorated, modern, an excellent kitchen. The hotel staff was a bid slow, breakfast was not well prepared, arriving in the restaurant the tables were not cleaned from the night before and there was no one in the kitchen to make breakfast. We got some bread and coffee. The next morning was the same story, for a hotel with these prices and reputation, this is not acceptable.
The helpful and knowledgeble Staff, Great chef, one of the best views in france from rooms and dinng area
Great location in the center of Rousillion. Very helpful and friendly staff.
It was centrally located and clean; the staff were helpful It was expensive - we were not able to use the restaurant
Facilities were very nice. Room very clean, and nicely prepared. Breakfast expensive for what you get. Paid less and gotten more at several other hotels in France.
The facility is spacious and right in the middle of this exquisite village. It is easily accessible with parking provided. Rooms were very clean with large beds and some views. baths more than adequate. We were treated with dignity and helpfulness.
great room and balcony with terrific view. loved David Restaurant. Staff so helpful. Beautiful town, loved every minute of it and would go back.
The location was awesome! The hotel was was right in the heart of everything! We loved the room and the front desk staff was very helpful!
Beautiful scenery, clean room beautiful scenery, clean room
Excellent hotel & good location. The hotel's well known restaurant was closed for the season - no meals (except breakfast) were available & no restaurants were open within walking distance. The hotel should have voulentered information about open restaurants.
Very nice room, great location, excellent restaurant for dinner (Le David). Great view from Veranda for breakfast. Would be nice to have Breakfast included in the price of the room.
Room decent size, balcony. No à la carte menu, only buffet style dinner option.
nothing No air conditioning only a noisy fan. Tiny double bed with only one small pillow each. Approx one mile out of Apt, not the 500mtrs as advertised.Tiny TV with no working english channel. Avoid!
The price for our three people is very resonable( 78 Euro). The room for us is very good with view of montain . The hotel environment is like a countryclub-with good fercilities. The staff is friendly and nice. The only pity thing is the breakfast is poor--charged too much( 8.20 euro per porson), We could not find cold cut meat, the bread has no chioce.....If it could be improved on the qualily of breakfast, it will be perfact.
Excellent buffet meal in the evening and excellent buffet breakfast. Room had no view .. down in the basement. Unlikely to stay here again as it was really for young families and coach parties.
The pool area. Big rooms. Nice and big balcony. Tennis court food menu for lunch and dinner
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The food provided at the hotel was very tasty. The location was very nice for driving to different sites throughout the Luberon. There is no wi-fi connection available in the rooms, so we had to walk to the common areas to check emails or do online research. For the price of the breakfast buffet, we felt there could be a better selection of items.
The room was spacious, decorated in a rustic style. The bed was comfort. The bathroom was adequate. Convenient parking. Breakfast was tasty but limited selection.
We had a wonderful room with a shady porch. Absolutely silent at night. Good swimming pool. Really a nice value and we were very happy.
The location and parking arrangement works well if you have a car. The rooms are large, but very sparsely furnished. The location is very quiet. Hard beds; only one very small (and previously used) soap; cheap pillows; no extra pillows; very sparse furnishings; not the kind of place you'd want to spend a rainy day.
The restaurant was pretty good. The pool and grounds were nice. There were two very nice dogs that greeted the guests. The first room I was given had no windows. Had to pay extra for a room with glass doors to let in the light. The staff spoke no English. About a mile walk to town.
Located just outside the beautiful village of Roussillon, La Petite Auberge is a tranquil haven and is as comfortable and welcoming as staying at home, or with good friends. Beautiful gardens to enjoy, great swimming pool and fabulous food - breakfasts better than anywhere else I've stayed and the half board option is great value.
Nice sized room, clean, quiet, easy parking. Courteous staff. No problems.
Lovely, secluded, relaxing setting. Not luxury but very comfortable. Brilliant breakfast, home-made jams, excellent choice of food. Lots to do for a family- tennis, table-tennis, pool. Monsieur et madame very friendly and welcoming. Would go again. The evening menu didn't have much for vegetarians so we didn't eat there.
Great quiet place and wonderful village.
Clean room, friendly and attentive staff, good breakfast, well situated.
The hotel is beautifully located in a large castle-like house on the side of the provincial town of Apt. Enough parking space, nice patio, friendly staff and great swimming pool and garden. The room we had was clean, although small and with a small window. However, some of the other (pricier) rooms have balkonies or terraces. The airco worked well and the bathroom was good. Good wifi. Quite far from town, so not really suited for a quick walk into town. The swimming pool was freaking cold, even in mid-summer ;-)
Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful clean, large room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Supurb view out the window.
Clean, good food, amiable staff, comfortable air conditioned room. It was good value for money.
very nice location and atmosphere, friendly staff,, comfortably but rather basic facilities too expensive for the standard. restaurant closed 2 nites a week while no alternative nearby. a small fridge in the room could resolve this but none
Nice old french hotel if yoy want to hove dinner.make a reservation super reataurant.r
The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good value for money. The pool was excellent if too cold to swim in at the time of year we chose. It was fine for a few days but would not spend a week. The hotel offered little after 9pm. There was little atmosphere, no bar or relaxing areas within the hotel. It was positioned too far from Apt unless you were prepared to drive.
The different villages in the area
the hotel was very clean and rooms were well appointed with air conditioning, telephone and balcony. The staff were friendly and gave us some details of good restaurants in the area. on the evenings of our stay (Sunday and Monday) there was no food available in the hotel in the evening. We would also have appreciated a mini fridge in the room or to have been able to have a drink in the hotel bar.
It is comfortable and nice for a short stay for 2 people.
A nice hotel in a small village.
Bar not open until 1800
Since this is the only hotel outside of Rousillon but close to it we had no option. But anyway the place is pretty nice, big room, clean bed, tv and everything you need for a one-night stay. Price is a bit higher than I`ve expected for such a location.
