Pros: Everything was perfect. Ludovic is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed being in their very stylish home. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: Very cool room with beautiful view on the Garden and Pool. Hammocks in the shade to relax and very delicous breakfast. The hosts were just wonderful.
When you stay at Maison de Dame Tartine in Issirac, you'll be 13 minutes by car from Grand Site de l'Aven d'Orgnac. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I really liked the house itself very traditional and the location, a bit secluded-15mn from the Ceze and other villages, the view on the forest and on the "valley", the smell of lavender when you arrive in the village, I also appreciate to have a room fitting the family (up to 6 persons).
Cons: Nothing, but be aware that you'll need to inform in advance (the day before) if you want to eat on site.
Pros: Location was superb. Owner very helpful and friendly. Food EXCELLENT! :-)
Cons: Room was rather cramped with low doorway and shower cubicle was tiny. Shower head would not stay in place.
Pros: The hosts and reception were awesome. They also have 2 delightful dogs. We were there for a record heat wave so it was very very warm with no air conditioning because it never gets that hot there. We survived (111 degrees F) and had a wonderful time.
Cons: The heat wave which they had no control over.
Pros: My wife and I had a wonderful time when we stayed for three nights at this idyllic, rural retreat. The house and village are full of rustic character, and the room and terrace are the perfect place to unwind. Our hosts, Helene and Loic could not be more hospitable. The breakfasts in the morning sunshine on the terrace were excellent - made extra special by the homemade jams served. Our room was very comfortable, exactly as advertised, and we enjoyed the stunning views from our balcony. Issirac is a charming village and we enjoyed walking around it and the surrounding countryside in the evenings. We would thoroughly recommend this place if you like country living, peace and tranquillity. We plan to return.
