Pros: Beautifully appointed room with a spacious bathroom - all incredibly comfortable! We had the 'packed lunch' for dinner, which was delicious, home made and very good value. Isadora, the owner was so friendly and very communicative before our arrival. Her children are gorgeous too! Pros: The town was pretty
Cons: Bathroom smelt of drains, pigeons roosting in the roof above the bedroom, cooing for most of the day and evening. Shower and sink waste water did not drain away. Very slow WiFi.
Pros: Traditionally French. Good location. Clean and showed signs of fairly recent positive maintenance.
Pros: Bed was comfy. Staff very helpful and went out of their way to ensure you had all you needed.
Pros: The breakfast was lovely. The shower was good. The taste in decor was simple but classy.
Cons: The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The protector on the mattress was plastic so made the night uncomfortabley sweaty. The town was limited in its amenities, nowhere to get a meal in the evening.
Pros: Very friendly welcome despite their limited English and our limited French. Room spacious and comfortable but only one pillow each supplied - ask for more if required. Only one 'plat du jour' and two or three desserts for evening meal but extremely tasty and very good value. Bar stock limited - no G&T - but good wine. A little off beaten track but easy to find, safe, off road parking to rear of hotel and an easy distance from Dieppe ferry for a first night.
Cons: The weather!
With a stay at Hôtel Inn Design Sablé-sur-Sarthe Resto Novo in Sable-sur-Sarthe, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Abbey of St Cecile and St Peter's Abbey of Solesmes. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were delicious. There were just made orange juice. Cozy and quiet room.
Cons: Door to the shower haven’t been closed Enough. Result - water on the floor.
Pros: Very good breakfast
Pros: It was well placed near the centre of the town and had on site parking.
Cons: The reception was closed when we arrived, not opening till 6.30. We did gain access by ringing a number and being informed that the room was open and the key inside, they were motel style rooms with outside access. There was a notice outside the hotel saying that the restaurant opened at 7.30 on Sundays but when we went at that time we found it wasn't opening and it was difficult to find a meal elsewhere. As we had been travelling all day we needed a meal. The exterior of the property was in a poor state of repair with no gutters so we were kept awake for much of the night by the noise of dripping water. There were two paper cups in the room with tea bags and coffee sachets but there was no kettle. I guess someone could have pinched it while the room was unlocked prior to our arrival.
Pros: Location close to Sable town able to walk in ten minutes
Cons: Hotel in a shady location however room not Air conditioned as needed in hotter weather
Pros: Tea tray and bottled water provided. Good bathroom facilities with easy to use shower. Very clean and very quiet despite being near a busy road. Easily accessible with good parking. Very close to the town centre and the river. It was nice to be able to take breakfast and drinks on the terrace overlooking the garden. Very good value for money.
Cons: Bed was a good size but mattress was a little hard for my liking. Not enough pillows although I could have asked for more.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Bed very uncomfortable
Pros: breakfast was excellent, very close to shops and restaurants, staff very welcoming and friendly and very helpful.
Pros: convenient location for 1 night stop over driving to south frence quiet and peaceful
Pros: Everything is ok.Thanks !
