Simple and easy to find Breakfast should have a childrens price
facility to park the car, lot of choice for the breakfast and the accommodation very close to the center by car. The mattress is a very used and old. The shape is completely curved. The hitter is switched off during the night till the morning.
Free internet/wifi. Good accommodation for overnight stop with supermarket and restaurants over the road but the hotel also has a restaurant.
Hotel was clean, easy to find on the road. For 2* hotel breakfast was good. Please to notice fresh orange juicer machine. WiFi internet was available, though on the hotel site it was not mentioned. Bathroom was new and clean. There was a tea set in the room, though we did not use it even. Be ready to have the room door going directly outside, not to inside corridor. When arrived, room was quite cold. Electric heater is used, so need to switch it upfront not to catch cold. Staff in the hotel hardly speaks English. For foreign travellers it was not easy to get common understanding.
The kettle in the hotel room. It is very good to have possibility to make tee or coffee in the room
breakfast food was not replenished as it ran out, so the choice for breakfast was very limited
close to skiing place and still in the town of Saint Die.
Nice clean hotel friendly staff None
Bed was hurting my back, does not mean that other people face the same problem.
The location was superb and we loved the decor of the room. I was lovely to look out over the garden. no
Friendly staff and excellent food.
quality of the room and service of the staff; the photos via internet are old it's completely renovated now Far away from Colmar 45 minutes by car
In a pleasant rural location with delightful grounds. Rooms were stylish. Service was friendly with a good breakfast.
Super Hotel worth the drive for the shower alone Dinner in the Evening was great will definately stay here again
Good for one-night stay. Ordinary restaurant. Staff speaks english very little.
Excellent bedroom and spa facilities Nothing
it was quiet
Beautiful pool and spa area; great menu "degustation";
It was confortable.
I liked the style and comfort of the hotel the beautifull sight from the diner-room and the terrace. It was very quiet and the people were very nice.
The location is impressive - quiet but accessible. The staff are welcoming, helpful but not intrusive. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The meal alone was worth the journey
It was cosy hotel, nice and calm, in a lovely location. Included in price, the use of hotel pool and sauna, an extra plus. Also, breakfast was great. A nice touch was the home made jam one was given when checking out. Well, haven't been in such a kitschy 80's hotel room for quite a while! Though the bed was of great quality, the room and bathroom were very clean, and all that one needed was at hand's reach!
Friendly and helpful staff
It was different in that it was relatively small with many artifacts on the walls making it an interesting place to stay No
Convenient; friendly helpful staff. Extremely noisy to late in the evening and starting again very early in the morning due to central location at a road junction with traffic lights making it very difficult to sleep with the window open (no air conditioning). No lift so had to carry luggage up the stairs to the second floor. tv did not work and the shower bracket fell of the wall and was not replaced.
Nice and spacious appartment, peaceful surroundings and a relaxed athmosphere. Do not expect a hotel feeling, it's more like coming home to somebody. All the animals were fun for the children, as well as the huge outdoor area. Family friendly. The appartment was too cold and the heating was locked so we couldn't turn it up to max. Be aware that you have to pay extra for the use of the kitchen. The road up to the hotel is narrow and windy, and several cars had problems since the road was covered with snow.
We arrived pretty late and the owner happily made us up some food and drinks, despite the restuarant being closed
Great location in the Alsace countryside Room was not well furnished - no TV, no RadioNo staff spoke English- surely a prerequisite for such accomodation providers
Out of the way, perfect setting, good food and friendly owners who were there if required. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Very small point but the room we had did not have a tv and we did begin to feel a little cut off from the world towards the end of the week, although not big tv watchers it would have been nice at times during the evening.
the surroundings were amazing! Although you need a taxi to go somwhere, we really enjoyed it.
This hotel is surrounded by woods, really peaceful environment. We stayed in the great and comfortable family rooms. Good (local) dishes served in hotel. Hotel may not be ideal with young active children around 3 years.
Comfortable room with kitchenette, excellent hiking in the area, back in the woods, a real break from our busy life. Excellent chef at hotel's restaurant. Fun ranch animals, and great to pick fresh cherries in the yard.
Domaine De Basil is a friendly and well-kept establishment in a beautifull and secluded location which is even more lovely than the numerous photos on the website can show. We very much appreciated the en-site restaurant (lovely cuisine of Alsace). The resident animals add to the charm. We would go back and definitely stay longer next time, using this auberge as a base for touring the area. Although I like them, I am allergic to both dogs and cats. I experienced no problem with our room (so I am assuming that the standard of cleaning is very high if dogs had been in the room). If someone were phobic about dogs and cats, then they would probably be uncomfortable. I found the owners pets to be charming and well-behaved. We would miss having a tv for news, etc. if staying longer.
The food was succulent!!!and the service was great. The pool was great for our daughter.
We had a lovely room, the food was amazing, and the price was surprisingly affordable.
A really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to please us. The food was excellent. Huge selection for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved sitting in the garden by the stream. A charming hotel with a family atmosphere in a beautiful part of France. We would definitely stay here again!
Good location for exploring Voges region; situated in small town. Reasonable bedroom with very large and smart bathroom. Pool much appreciated. The terrace restaurant let the hotel down badly. Service, ambience and food could only be described as poor. In view of this being the only place to eat in town leads one to think that owners have become complacent. In fairness hotel does have a 'gourmet' restaurant, but not tried as even more expensive!
Excellent location and atmosphere. Relaxing environment. Friendliness and efficiency of staff. The quality of the Restaurant's menu and the wine.
Excellent location (5 min from the Lac Blanc ski slopes), very sympathetic hotel and incredibly kind staff
Very cute hotel. Ideally situated: foot on of the mountain, nice for hiking, in between larger citys for going out at night. Very nice and helpfull couple that owns the place, feels like a bed and breakfast. Very clean rooms with good beds. Perfect for a cheap weekend away. Noisy. There is a lot to do in the surrounding places (short drive), but not much in Bonhomme besides the wonderful scenery/hiking.
Stuffs were very kindly. Reasonable price. Hotel location is a little bit far from the wine route but if you have car or bike, I can recommend this hotel.
The familly, very open, service oriented, very cleanless. The hotel is along a traffic way, is not pleasure to walk in the precipal street
the food in the restaurant was excelent
