Pros: It was a great pleasure for us to stay in this quiet lovely B&B. Our room was perfect, nice and clean. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast with homemade jam, juice and eggs. The owner are very friendly, open minded and helpful. If you wanna get back to nature and you‘re looking for a piece of heaven.....just go ahead☺️☺️
Cons: We have nothing to blame!!!!
Pros: If there were 6 stars available this would get it. Everything was beyond perfect, the ambience was excellent, the welcome extraordinary, the room had 2 chairs (others take note -- a double bed implies 2 people implies a need for 2 chairs, very rare), the breakfasts excellent
Pros: A wonderful, relaxing place with excellent hosts.
Cons: The only detractions: a power line over the property but this is being moved next year and main road access was quite tricky if turning right, a traffic mirror would help with this.

Pros: Owners were amazing they couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable
Cons: Everything just perfect
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helped us with everything.
Cons: The location, if you’re going to stay you’ll need to travel by car. It’s not much else but the B&B. You’ll have to drive to La Cavalerie if you want to eat at a restaurant. Very thin walls, we traveled with our two kids, 4 & 2, and our neighbors could not sleep.

Pros: An excellent stop over with great hosts. A beautiful visit to explore, not too big and our hosts booked us in for a meal at the local camp site which was straightforward but excellent food. There was nothing not to like!
Pros: Great decor and room styling Lovely hostess and host. Boutique hotel quality rooms. Home made brioche and jams at breakfast.
Cons: The shared bathroom could be a problem for some wanting more privacy although for our stay we had the house to ourselves and was not an issue !
Pros: Very comfortable house, excellent breakfast and lovely welcome.
Pros: The property is located in a beautiful and serene medieval-style village. It is owned by a lovely French couple who did great job at making us feel comfortable and at home. They were both sincere and gentle people who always showed us a smiling face. Breakfast, which we preferred to have in the small garden, was superb. It included bread, butter, home-baked cake, home-made jams, fruits, tea, coffee and orange juice. For lunch and dinner, a great camping restaurant is available outside the village but within walking distance. We stayed in five star hotels as well, but honestly never left any of them with such beautiful memories.

There is a lovely terrace and swimming pool The restaurant is excellent with great local ingredients and cooking, there is free parking, there is a friendly hotel cat to stroke... and best of all the hosts Kevin and Sophie are friendly and helpful. So good we stayed two days longer than planned.
Cons: Nothing, the hotel is pretty much perfect.
Pros: Breakfast is huge. Dinner menu is great, well done!
Cons: A small bar size fridge in the room will be great to keep cold drinks during the summer weather.
Pros: Les Raspes was a beautiful surprise—loved the small French town experience!
Pros: It is a typical french "gîte" with comfortabe rooms with a good ambiente, stylish-oldfashioned furniture and cosy beds. The common room is simpler. We had the only room with wlan. The host is helpfull and humerous. When we arrived in the evening while the rain was purring down, he first offered a beer and juice. What a welcome!
Pros: The owner, Andre was charming and so welcoming. He even came out to meet us in the village as we couldn’t find the location (only hiccup). Wonderful stay and I would go back! The breakfast was perfect and André set us off to a good start! Thanks Andre! Xxxxx
Cons: Signs to the Gîte in the village
Pros: Amazing value for money, host was very accommodating, very good location in a remote location, nice to stay in a real French rural B&B !
Cons: Would of been nice to have had Wi-Fi.
Pros: The host was very amiable. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Our room was for four people (although we were only two); the only mirror was in the bathroom/toilet. Our room opened directly onto the reception area, which people were passing through en route to breakfast. The latest time we were offered breakfast as 08.30. The bedroom did not smell fresh.

Cons: I am quite easily pleased
Pros: The environment is fantastic, the river running close, the immaculate grounds, the views, the setting and facilities are great. The staff is extremely helpful.
Cons: Hot water not consistent, no mousquito nets on windows and the bungalow gets really hot as it is facing west
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. It was very close to the sea. Plenty of nice restaurants and cycle paths.
Pros: Nice location in huge mountain area.
Cons: Staff in the restaurant etc. is just young people with any kind of service skills. A big shame. It was so bad, so our general experience of this campsite went from 4 star to only 1 star. :-(
Pros: The layout of the campsite, the pool area, the location was amazing.
Cons: Loved everything
Pros: Staff helpful - especially reception staff. Beautiful location for peace and quiet.
Cons: The lodge we stopped in was shaded therefore no where to relax in the sun - unless we visited the pool or cafe area (which were nice open areas).

Pros: The hosts were pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed the multi nation interaction during dinner and breakfast is Spanish, English, Belgium, French. The property has great potential but needs some investment to tidy things up.
Cons: Our room had a roof leak. The evening meal was nice but average. The breakfast too could have included fruit and yougurt.
Pros: Very Authentic old building well set up as a BnB. Dinner was awesome and our host very obliging.
Cons: Very hard to find
Located in Octon, La Palombe is within a 15-minute drive of Lake Salagou and Cirque of Mourèze. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location, the views over the valley, the superb food and the friendly staff. All in all a very good hotel.
Pros: La Polombe is quite high up and eating outside on a warm evening in early September was idyllic. The cicadas had gone asleep and little white moths flickered like soft lights high overhead. The unexpected pleasure in La Polombe was the superb quality of the food from their young chef.
Pros: Nice big room, well equipped for self catering had the information been available.
Cons: I booked this hotel because there were excellent reviews on Booking.com about the restaurant in this hotel. We were happy with our choice as I always look for a restaurant on site but on arrival we were informed that the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday, the day of our arrival. I did not notice this on the website or it was not published until the room was paid for on Booking. com. I would not have booked had I known that no food was available as we did not arrive until 6pm and after a long drive did not look forward to going back down the single track windy road for dinner or to buy provisions. The road to the hotel was precarious, steep and absolutely not great for driving in the dark. We had to go back down to the village to buy food for our dinner shortly after our arrival so no swim in the pool. In fairness the manager offered a cheese plate after seeing our disappointment in not being able to eat in the establishment. Clarity is important and in a hotel, off the beaten track, crucial. How does a hotel shut shop in high season? Otherwise a nice room but we noticed prices for breakfast, lunch and dinner above average for the region eg, breakfast 12 euros but no information given on where to get so we went down to the village after checking out. Information given about the hotel and surrounding area was non existent as the staff were all on a day off.All a bit misleading and no visible staff except the man who checked us in. Will not be rushing back.
With a stay at Domaine du Vern in Saint-Affrique, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Pastoralia and Roquefort Papillon Caves. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Warm welcome, good English spoken if needed, comfortable bed, plenty of space and a very good value table d'hôte (aperitifs, 4 courses, coffee, plenty of wine for €25). Free parking very close to hotel. Dinner was the highlight when my wife and I (with limited French) found the company of the other 13 French guests, the host and his wife to be most enjoyable.
Cons: All good!
Pros: Excellent brekkie! Loved the communal nature of the eating area.
Pros: Very comfortable room with very good bath. Excellent breakfast with local ingredients and some of them housemade. Hosts keen to make you feel at ease, always very solicitous and available.
Cons: Maybe the lack of wi-fi in the bedroom, as it helps in the searches of the area, but staying without it for a while is also something interesting.
Pros: Delicious and very healthy home made food. Huge comfortable bedroom. Very welcoming family.
Cons: Everything perfect
Located in Saint-Rome-de-Tarn, Auberge de Saint Rome is in a rural location, a 2-minute drive from Saint-Rome Plage and 6 minutes from Plage de Luannac. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Large well-decorated and clean room overlooking the terrace. Friendly welcome. Beautiful village to explore, interesting old buildings. Good evening meal, particularly the navarin of lamb. Drinks on the terrace, watching the world go by.
Cons: The fire alarm going off from 4.30am onwards so I had no sleep before our long drive south to our home. The owner seemed annoyed with us for complaining, but perhaps it was embarrassment with the difficult situation. That would not put us off staying again or recommending this accommodation; I hope he understands that. After all, I doubt it would happen again! We were lucky to get a parking space, it was usually full. Two minor things: the light over the bathroom mirror needs replacing and the shower head did not fix properly.
Pros: The area, with friendly staff.
Cons: It could have done with a lift.
Pros: All of the stay. Lovely staff, great location, excellent breakfast
Pros: Friendly welcome, great room overlooking square, comfortable bed, separate en-suite shower room and WC, popular restaurant with good menu.
Cons: Could only stay the one night
Pros: A wonderful oasis in a magical village setting with amazing food and wine on top. Dog friendly to
Pros: Typical of a small Auberge set in the central square in a small quaint village with bathing and activities close by. Friendly hotel & bar staff and good food served on the terrace in the centre of the village. Boulangerie, small supermarket, Tabac, Patisserie all close by. Rooms small but adequate with en-suite facilities - the best overlooking the square and terrace. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay
Cons: Beautiful old hotel. Surrounding area is stunning. Family room really good only negative was could have done with a few extra plugs for charging all our electrical devices. Staff so friendly. We arrived late and on an empty stomach, the kitchen was closed but the staff whipped us up a salad meat and cheese platter French fries and bread, which was really nice off them. Breakfast was 18 euros for family of 3 for continental with coffee, tea and fruit juice. I'd definitely go back if I needed a hotel in that area again. It's a wee gem.
