Pros: Fabulous welcome and beautiful little extras at this wonderful place
Pros: Everything was perfect!
Pros: After an exceedingly long journey, it was a pleasure to receive such a warm welcome from our host. The room exceeded our expectations, upon entering the room it was beautifully cool due to the modern air conditioning unit that was set up - the main room had ample space with a large double, connected to that was another large double with a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. Connected to that room was a very well equipped and spotlessly clean shower room. Bedding and towels were of a high quality and the mattresses/pillows were extremely comfortable giving us a very well rested nights sleep. Tea and coffee was available in the room and also to note there were plenty of plug points so there wasn't any arguing over who got to charge their equipment first!! The breakfast provided by our host was huge! Breads, croissants, cheese, cereal and yogurt, fruit and jams/preserves made by the host herself from trees on her land. Freshly pressed orange juice and a large selection of teas and coffees also accompanied breakfast. The pool was a welcome relief after a long day in the car and was kept open late into the evening so we didn't have to rush upon our arrival. We will definitely be coming back!!!
Cons: There honestly was nothing we didn't like. Everything was excellent.
Pros: Room was spacious, and thoughtfully designed to have everything we needed. We felt well looked after as soon as we arrived. The pool looked so inviting and relaxing but sadly we didn't have enough time to use it! We will most definitely be back again and stay for at least a couple of nights. Breakfast was fabulous - fresh local produce or else food prepared by the owner. We couldn't have been happier with our stay apart from needing more time to enjoy it!
Pros: We spent one week at d'un jour à l'autre, and enjoyed everything. The host is as nice as can be, we benefitted from the pool during the hot days and we loved it. We recommend very highly the place, for example on your way towards the south of France.
Pros: We enjoyed our stay there. The room is very convenient and clean, breakfast is excellent, there is a very nice swimming pool there. Location is excellent, it allows to visit many interesting and beautiful places in the area. And the host is so helpfull and taking care. Thank you. Tamara and Michael.

Pros: The hospitality shown by Sopie and Peter. The conviviality and the free French lessons. We had dinner and breakfast prepared by Sophie and we really enjoyed them.
Pros: Owners very welcoming. Lovely home made breakfast. Good value for one night to break journey from Lyon to Toulouse.
Cons: A bit hard to find.
Pros: A charming restored cottage set amongst rolling country side.
Pros: I used this as an overnight stop driving down the A75. It’s very convenient and so much nicer than staying in a Motel. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, and were very helpful in advising me and getting me away when it unexpectedly snowed overnight. Breakfast was excellent. The location, in the hamlet of le Bories is very beautiful.
Cons: My room opened straight into the hosts’ living and kitchen space. If you like your privacy, you might find this arrangement a little too intimate.
Pros: Great location and beautiful stone house. Very pleasant host. Wonderful room with a very large door and a breathtaking view of nature. Comfortable bed and nice private bathroom with a dry sand toilet! Good breakfast.
Cons: A little tricky to find via satnav. A couple of signs nearby would help
Cons: Dry sand toilet,. Bad car parking, far from amenities, sharing with family of four.
Pros: Lovely old property on the edge of a gorgeous hamlet. Very pleasant host and fabulous breakfast including home baked bread and local cheese and yogurt. I'd definitely recommend the local speciality, chestnut jam!

Pros: Location La Canourge. Restaurant served traditional French fare cheaply.
Cons: No AC or fan in room, despite the facilities mentioning AC. Turned out to be only in the restaurant, which incidentally was v good. No soap for bathroom.
Pros: very friendly staff, excellent menu in the restaurant, and all our requests were met in full. Altogether an excellent experience
Cons: Nothing - apart from the weather fro which we could not blame the Hotel!
Pros: Good bar and good food in the restaurant, quiet given it is on the road through town, easy to explore the quaint old town and town canals, all of which are situated adjacent to the hotel
Cons: Nothing really, we stayed 2 nights to explore around the locale and the hotel was easy to find and the manager was helpful
Pros: Brilliant location in a beautiful, ancient village. Staff welcoming, cheerful and conciencous. Excellent, good value restaurant. Good breakfast.
Pros: Traditional family run French hotel with helpful friendly staff.
Cons: Old property that could do with spring clean.
Pros: Great hotel in centre of lovely town with a fab bar and restaurant. Lovely staff wrll priced
Pros: Allocated room not good, but replaced to our complete satisfaction. Good breakfast
Cons: All OK
Pros: We had a very relaxed overnight stop. We liked the fact that the hotel was part of the village community with locals dropping in for drinks, breakfast and meals. The evening meal we had was delicious and excellent value and the village setting was really beautiful.
Cons: The pillows were a little thin but a bolster was provided in the wardrobe which our friend didn't notice until morning.

Pros: Location good. Friendly staff.
Cons: Not as clean as the first stay. Air con remote was missing!
Pros: A very pleasant hotel for a one night stop. Given its proximity to the motorway, it was quiet. The surrounding countryside is lovely. Room was huge. Very clean. Good sized bathroom. Looked like room had been recently refurbished. Short walk to good restaurant in nearby hotel (approx 200 metres) for evening meal. Plenty of free parking.
Cons: Restaurant closed the night I was there. Breakfast was just ok for the price.
Pros: The property is beautiful and is just next to the autoroute. If you are doing a road trip, it's a nice place for a quick stay. The family room was wonderful and very comfortable. There is ample space for parking and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Also, the level of security at the hotel is very good.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better with some more variety. And reaching out to the hotel staff after the reception hours was very tough. At times you go to a hotel, instead of an apartment precisely to have security of available help. Also families that want to check-in please ask where your room is! There are no elevators and if you have very small kids still using prams and cribs, it might be tough for you.
Pros: Good location for an overnight stop down south. Gorge du Tarn is worth a visit.
Cons: Room was a bit dated. Missed the rush for breakfast- so we were left with crumps and coffee (our fault). One room smelled of cigarette smoke.
Pros: Nice and clean ideal stop over spot Friendly staff, but alas restaurant was not open Breakfast not included but at €11 a head very little choice But superb coffee
Pros: Good breakfasts.
Cons: Newly painted room which was a bit smelly.
Pros: Service was excellent
Pros: Stuff. Kind and professional.

Pros: Croissants were small but very flaky food was good and well priced well served but the wine was well over priced.
Cons: Like many hotels in France time of check in is now late afternoon If one has been travelling all day one wants a lunch and a nap A hotel that has no staff until just before heck in is not a real hotel
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Restaurant was closed on the evening I arrived and yet there was no notification and I only booked the day before.
Pros: Directly off the A75. Fantastic for travelling through France. Large enough room and very clean. Allows dogs.
Cons: You couldn’t drop the air con below 18 degrees which made the room very stuffy. No tea or coffee making facilities. No English speaking channels on the tv.
Cons: The superior room with terrace was not worth the money. The patio furniture was shabby and old. Dead flowers in boxes. Very noisy road. Plastic mattress protector horrid & hot. No shower curtain. I could go on!

Pros: The location is very rural and it was quiet in the place. Personal is very friendly. it is realy nice place to stay for holiday. Furniture is old and original.
Cons: The room was clean and nice, but no TV, bathroom on the coridor and toilet also. I must say I did not read it when i booked ! Also in a castle it is not always possible.
Pros: From the outside the property looked very inviting and the scenery was beautiful
Cons: The property was very basic, the room was cold and there was no heating available. The room had a dedicated bathroom and toilet but it was a walk down the corridor The restaurant was closed even though they advertised being a hotel and restaurant The hostess did not seem very helpful when it came to offering information on alternative places to eat. She actually gave the impression that we were an inconvenience and that she would much rather be in Greece. Overall the hotel and the hostess did not meet the expectation that were being advertised.
Pros: Pretty much everything. Very comfortable bed, functional bathroom, great location, friendly and very helpful hosts, vegetarian food, good coffee and delicious wines. Heating in the rooms. Relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Loved the Balinese furnishings- so much nicer than “old world” clutter and over-furnishing.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable.. dinner was delicious and the surroundings very peaceful
Pros: Very welcoming hostess in beautiful old chateau. Unfortunately restaurant was not open the night I was there but will definitely return!
Pros: Grand old stones, surround with the simplicity of easy living, hospitality, good food, vegetable gardens and nature.
Pros: Nice hotel in a quiet rural setting and full of character. Our room was large with a large ensuite wet room. The door led onto the garden which was great for us as we were travelling with our Chihuahua dogs. Very comfortable bed but the room was otherwise only sparsely furnished which might not suit everyone. Dinner was in an impressive dining room complete with wood burner to take away the autumn chill. The food was vegetarian and a set menu. Many of the ingredients were from the hotel's garden and it was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our overnight stay.
Cons: Room could have been a bit closer. Could have done with more electric sockets
Pros: Genuine atmosphere. Fantastic building. Good vegetarian dinners. Quiet surroundings, not very far from Gorge d’Tarn. Glad we could speak english with hostess.

Pros: Very friendly staff and good location.

Cons: The room we got had nothing to do with the pictures. It was extremely hot, bathroom not renovated since at least the 70s, ok bed. But the view from the room over the mountains was nice.
