Atmosphere, accommodation, decor, food, service and friendly attitude of staff all made for a pleasantly memorable visit.
It was a charming little hotel
Rustic and quaint character of the hotel, friendlyness, cleanlyness and good food. Out of choice would have preferred "full door" on on bathroom/toilet insted of half swing doors.
Nice atmosphere for a relatively inexpensive hotel. Great resturant.
Great very uncomplicated check in - very helpful and nice. Room was great - food in the restaurant was also very good. Easy place for a stop over. Pictures on the Web-page are really not as nice as the actual rooms.
very good restaurant blankets on the beds
very good hotel food good made very welcombe
Food and service very good, excellent menu. Quiet and pleasant location
Ideal if you are a food and wine conoisseur, wide range of locally produced cheeses etc. Village in the middle of nowhere. I was expecting a country inn with log fires etc but was disappointed by it's lack of character despite all the antiques.
This was easily the nicest hotel I visited during a tour of France. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean room, good restaurant, easy parking. Highly recommended.
Convenient for the Puy de Dome and surrounding countryside. Quiet and peaceful. Good swimming pool, tennis court and restaurant.
The position suited our stay and the pool was an asset. The evening meal was very good. We understand the owners are refurbishing the hotel and not all areas are looking good, however the staff need to smarten their appearance and need to be properly trained. The frontage of the hotel was not inviting, plant pots full of weeds!
big room and central location we just spent one nigth and it was barely ok the bed and sheets were old as if been used by the germans in WW2 , the carpet and flooring seemed as walked by Napoleon himself, shabby aspect of the room and fixtures.
spacious room, central loction in the town, good value for money parking could be a problem - no car park at hotel and public carpark a short walk away
Typical old-style hotel situated in nice old town. Well-maintained, clean, friendly staff.
Staff very helpfull on the reception & spoke perfect English.
The breakfast was awful. The milk was sour and my partner almost broke a tooth trying to eat a piece of toast. It was so bad that we didn't finish it and refused to pay.
very conveinient for the town no
Friendly atmosphere - competent staff Only ones in the dining room.
Excellent value for money, good food, friendly staff, clean room
Room clean, Owner waited up to greet us (past 2100hrs)
There was no-one at the hotel on arrival to let us in and it was all locked up. We finally found a young woman with two small children who was able to let us in. There was no hot water in the evening although it did come through in the morning and the bathroom was in a very tired and dirty state
The accomodation was basic but very well presented. A great evening meal, superb buffet and quarter of wine for only 12 euros. All in all great value for money
the restaurant was excellent, it was good to have access to a pool. It was also in walking distance of the town centre.
Owing to the fact that I arrived in a taxi with my three large dogs owing to my car breakdown I was delighted that the hotel accepted my dogs, this was a tremendous relief. The staff were very helpful and kind. The receptionist was overworked as she was doing everything ,we had to wait for such a long time for help or for our bill owing to the phone ringing constantly.I was surprised that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room .The dining room required previous reservations which was disappointing as we arrived early hoping for dinner.
the staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and furnished well. the information book was only in french.
I was very pleased with the friendly hotel staff. The breakfast room/dining room was elegant. The food was excelent. The hoel was ideally situated. The room was very small. The colour scheme was unnappealing.
No tea or coffee facilities in room
