The food is truly excellent. It's a lovely location in a beautiful out of the way town.
This is a small, friendly family run hotel in a beautiful medieval village. In early July it was quiet and comfortable, and there is a very nice secluded garden and pool. The food is absolutely lovely - great regional dishes and meat and fish charcoal grilled in the restaurant - terrifically good value for really gorgeous meals. We would definitely go again, and highly recommend it.
Location and restaurant
This is a charming hotel in a lovely village and with much potential, but ... The madame director chose her priority over customer service, and consequently, over one hour after requesting that the pool cover be removed we left, disappointed and dry. On leaving the matter was brought to her attention; the reply was - I am human. With a shrug of the shoulders, the inference was - you are not so important.
staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast more varied than the normal french offerings. Evening meals delicious. Garden and pool well maintained. Location of St Rome de Tarn is excellent to visit Millau and surrounding areas. Town has many narrow winding streets to wander around. Tried to stay for an extra day. Fully booked - book early. Very large bed actually two single mattresses together on same frame. No tea/coffee facilities.
The tranquility of the location, the service, the food all was wonderful
The location and the food Mix up on when dinner was served - you had to ask
Very pleasant staff, clean rooms and excellent food. Asked for twin bedded room and got a double bed.
A totally satisfying experience. One of the best I have experienced in my loig life of international travel (I am 82 years old).Far superior to the impersonality, and international "sameness" of most large, modern hotels. No.
They were very welcoming even though we arrived at a late hour. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The hotel is in a beautiful location. Wish I had more time to explore the town and the area. This was just a stopover on my way to southern France.
The outdoor facilities
The meals were top class and the proprietior was very friendly and made you feel welcome his staff seem similarly motivated The Hotel is a little tired and looks as if its been extended iteratively our room was not too modernly fitted out although adequate. The glass door to the ensuite was a little quirky!! Not really anything to say that bad The hotel has perhaps tried to offer all facilities over a period of time some of which have become a little dated in the process.
beautiful village, good restaurant very old beds ,Owner very greedy person
Welcome; lots of leisure facilities, all free to use; friendly and personal treatment from staff; nice view Why no shower curtain?!!
It was quiet Dark, dank, dated and depressing
The room was a good size, staff were fine. The hotel is in need of a face lift, and food and drinks were expensive.
There was nothing to fault about the hotel. Rooms were fine, leisure facilities were very good and service was excellent. Wee bit of a hike up from the car park but at least it had one and it was free to use.
The staff were very helpful. Great waterslide for kids No air conditioning in rooms
dinner on the terrace (at the restaurant) quite a long way from Albi, which was where I had originally wanted to stay (but nothing available there)
good hostess, lovely room, great food, value for money
Superb quality from room furnishings to food . no twin bedded rooms available
Nice breakfast, pleasant staff, use of local pool should be advertised. No tea/coffee facilitesin room
excellent yet relaxed manner of the staff not really but if you were staying longer than 3 days the menu would need to change
the hotel was very good friendly staff and the evening meals were very good nothing was to much trouble you would be no good without transport it is in a very pretty but isolated village 40 miles fron millau
