With a stay at La Longère du Perche in Manou, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Perche Water Park and The Big Oak. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: BnB perfection. This is a lovely property and worthy of its very high rating. In a lovely quiet area. The facilities are first class with gorgeous rooms and a fabulous shared lounge, TV, kitchen area. The house itself is very unique and the way the BnB area has been incorporated into this refurbished farm house is very well done. And last but not least. Chantal, our host was as perfect as the place itself. Lovely warm and so accommodating and helpful. Google translator came out more than a few times but she was so patient and great fun. Thank you!
Cons: Not one thing
Pros: Extremely welcoming hosts. Beautifully converted building. Extremely spacious and relaxing lounge with small hidden kitchen area. Not an area that I have stayed in before but will try to return and shall have no hesitation booking La Longère du Perche
Pros: Chantal was an amazing host and we felt well looked after, despite a little bit of a language barrier! The breakfast was delicious, with home baked bread and local confitures. The garden was brilliant for kids. The beds were very comfortable. There was a small selection of very nice restaurants from around 10-15 minutes drive away.
Cons: This property would not be great if you had babies or toddlers because of the narrow spiral staircase, but for normal walking people it is FAB.
Pros: Chantal and Jean made us feel very welcome and were the prefect hosts. The room was comfy with a view over the beautiful garden. The lounge was enormous and had everything you could need with a kitchenette tucked away inside what appeared to be a antique wardrobe, worked brilliantly. French doors lead to the patio area were we had dinner overlooking the garden. Peaceful location set in a national park. Would like to return one day.
Pros: This place is a gem. Chantal and Jean Louis were very welcoming and very jolly, our room was lovely and breakfast was great. Just the job
Pros: Charming, inviting, peaceful and unique farmhouse B&B. Owner Chantal, so helpful both via email before we arrived and while we were there. We were on a search for family history in nearby Manou and were delighted to find that Main Street had been renamed/dedicated to our family in 1994. Plus, Chantal guided us to the Quebec Emigrants Museum, a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed meeting the other couple staying at the B&B and relaxing on the outdoor patio in the evening. Pack small suitcase for the spiral staircase.
Pros: Awesome and nice Chantal made our stay incredibly nice. We enjoyed quiet locality and beautiful cozy room. Breakfast was a great experience with freshly baked baguette and croissants. I will definitely come back!

Pros: People very nice
Cons: Bed terrible. Shower unable to use water went everywhere. Location very hard to find. Dog running everywhere
Pros: This place is like having an overnight with your favourite aunty who then spoils you rotten. Be prepared to be part of the family, including Heidi the dog and Margot the tortoise and just go with it. Micheline and Jean are so sweet and you really are part of the establishment. Very clean, lots of room with a separate lounge with fridge and kettle. Not much in Treon but only 30 mins from Chartres. Lovely breakfast in good company in the family lounge.
Cons: A bit faded and could do with a bit of an update . Slightly odd bathroom arrangements.
Pros: We had a lovely stay here with very friendly hosts. Our accommodation was large with a little terrace too. Super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, cheeses, ham, melon and cherries plus yoghurt and croissants, we couldn’t do it justice! The position was very convenient, rural but close to main roads and a hyper market. Would highly recommend
Pros: First of all i would like to thank the owners of the property for their hospitality. The house is located is the small village of Treon at only 1 hour from Paris. If you want to sleep well and relax, i highly recommend this property.
Pros: Warm welcome, very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast selection exceptionally good.
Pros: Very pleasant stay. A very warm welcome, wonderful room and a good choice for breakfast.
Pros: Fantastic suite for a family of 4 , we were made to feel so welcome. Delicious breakfast , varied and so fresh and even had home made orange juice and jams. Lovely setting. Thank you. Remember you need to pay with cash.
Pros: We have stayed here before and everything was excellent and will more than likely stay again.
Cons: Everything was excellent
Pros: this was a really comfortable stay and it was actually a suite of rooms so we had a small sitting room and some basic cooking facilities if we had needed them. the decor was interesting and charming and its a lovely rural setting. hosts were very friendly and welcoming. the breakfast was fantastic, really excellent food and lots of it, including their own grown fruit
Cons: there is nowhere to eat in the village but it wasnt a long drive to the town of Dreux, around 20 minutes and plenty of cafes etc there. we didnt realise we could have bought a simple meal to cook in the suite
Pros: Very welcoming couple. Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: Off the beaten track.Very steep drive for secure parking. 20 minutes to any shops. No cafe or restaurant within walking distance. The rooms need a bit of TLC.
9.4 Excellent (111 reviews)
See hotel page Tucked away in a little green oasis not far from Chartres, Auberge du Moulin Vent, The Originals Relais, managed by Mikal Santarromana, is a great place for guests to fully experience the Perche. Pros: The hotel reflects totally its name "Relais du Silence": The structure and the room are extremely quite and the location is wonderful. We did not have neither dinner nor breakfast there, but the restaurant looked very appealing!
Pros: Lovely tranquil setting in a fairly remote spot. Very modern facilities and excellent service. Catering was first class.
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here the staff were so friendly and attentive and helpful and the actual hotel was in a very pretty area.
Pros: Amazingly helpful and courteous staff Great breakfast Secure parking in a beautiful garden
Pros: Great view from our room. Spacious room. Nice restaurant. Good breakfast. Quiet. Good place to walk and with the dog.
Cons: The restaurant was closed the night we stayed quite understandably as it was a bank holiday. We were offered a cold meal and ate on our balcony with a great view. However there was no indication on booking that the resto was closed only emailed request as previous reviews mentioned Wednesday evenings dining was hotel guests only.
Pros: the room and ensuite shower room were excellent, bedroom was clean and adequate
Cons: Evening meal was not up to expectations
Pros: It was tasteful and appealing- thoughtful decor and in a tranquil spot. The staff were event better
Cons: There was nothing to not like
Pros: An absolute piece of heaven. Good food, amazing staff, excellent quality for the money. Definitely worth a stop if you need to spend a night nearby. Better than most of the 4 star hotels and yeah, I forgot, brilliant breakfast for 10 Euro.
Cons: There is nothing that I didn’t like.
Pros: Very comfortable, great bathroom, everything of high quality. Super views too
Cons: The food in their restaurant was amazing and the nearby walks were very pleasant too.

Pros: Everything....lovely room. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike....thankfully.
Pros: Spacious rustic style bedroom with seating/dining area. Lovely breakfast served in room.
Pros: Bridget the host was exceptional, Belle was even better ! The location, the facilities, the helpful attentive host was wonderful after a long drive. La Vigne location is perfect whilst exploring, or driving across France. The grounds are relaxing, the bedroom exceptional, breakfeast perfect.......nothing can be faulted....enjoy
Cons: nothing,,it was perfect..
Pros: breakfast served in room was superb, brigette and jean marc are excellent hosts, have stayed here before and will stay again next year.is a comfortable 4 hour drive from Calais via country roads
Pros: excellent staff, superb breakfast served at agreed time in bedroom, easy access to CHARTES
Cons: LOW BEAM IN BEDROOM,WAS POINTED OUT AND WAS CAREFULLY AVOIDED AFTER ON CONTACT,I AM 6FT TALL AND THE BEAM WAS BELOW MY SHOULDERS
Pros: All very peacefull and very ouiet
Pros: The room was so beautiful and relaxing, and the bathroom was a dream
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: Beautifully decorated and quirky rooms. Breakfast was superb and the scenery in Saint Jean de Rebervillier was charming.
Pros: Own access to room without disturbing the host. Friendly French host whose English was better than our French. Lovely breakfast in our room as weather didn’t allow us to have it in the garden. Situated in nice village opposite the village pond.
Cons: Nothing, wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: tranquility of the place.
Cons: Bathroom door could have been bit higher, But given the overall setting it was a minor thing.
Pros: Clean and comfortable with a wonderful hostess.
Pros: Very friendly hosts. Plenty of opportunity to practise and improve my french conversation!
Pros: The cleanliness was outstanding, the welcome very warm but it was better that we spoke some French rather than rely on English. If French can be spoken, this location is outstanding for an overnight stop en route to Calais. Quiet suburban location close to 'chain' eateries. To be able to put the car behind locked gates was very much appreciated. A two bedroomed guest house very worth considering. 'Madame' is a very lively character ably supported by a quieter husband - but some French makes for the very much for an added bonus when staying here,
Cons: For the money, cleanliness and welcome nothing extra could be asked for. Croissants for breakfast would have been welcome but that would be the only negative comment. Freshly squeezed orange juice was excellent however
Pros: The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: nice and quiet facility, spacious room very well equipped. the hosts are extremely friendly and nice. we enjoyed the stay very much.
Cons: the bathroom is very nice, spacious and well equipped, but it is external to the room.
With a stay at Le Relais d'Aligre, you'll be centrally located in Chateauneuf-en-Thymerais, 15.6 mi (25.2 km) from Chartres Cathedral and 11.4 mi (18.4 km) from Senonches Town Hall. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: There is great secure parking at this hotel, and although the room was not as big as some others, it was big enough for one night. The aircon worked well and the bathroom is very spacious. The food and wine in the restaurant is very good though is not cheap and the garden is a lovely setting
Cons: There is not much else to do in the village with no other eating options, so eat first or save up for the restaurant.
Pros: Quite the best breakfast we have ever had on the continent. Beautifully presented with a smile. When we arrived, having had a bad experience the night before at another place we were overwhelmed with the luxury and ambience of the hotel. The owner/manager who greeted us was friendly and very helpful. We had a drink in the garden. The drink was served with style and attention to detail, it was great. The food in the restaurant was superb and the rooms, which were obviously newly updated were luxurious.
Pros: Restaurant was really good, room was very comfortable with everything you need during your stay and the breakfast was lovely
Cons: Check in was a little late, there was a queue to get in when the clock struck 1730! Also wish we’d booked one of the rooms with aircon. Ours didn’t have any so we had to sleep with the window open which meant we could hear the noisy neighbours enjoying their party until 0500! Not the hotel’s fault, but if you want to be quiet book a room with aircon!
Pros: The restaurant was exceptional. We tried their 'gourmand' menu, which was outstanding and, given that it included good choices of wine by the glass, very reasonably priced. The vegetarian starter was imaginative, but if you don't eat meat or fish, you may struggle to find a main course. Dessert (souffle) was first class. We'll remember the combination of sorbet and Calvados for our next dinner party. The room was well equipped, containing everything you need for an overnight stay. At about 3 to 4 hours (depending on how well you get through Rouen) drive from Calais, this is a good stopover on a journey to the South.
Cons: Breakfast was rather mixed. Nice choice of fruit cocktail with the ubiquitous fresh apples, but some butter or milk would not have gone amiss.
Pros: Hotel was in great location with good secure parking. Very modern with good friendly staff
Cons: We booked 2 months in advance and were told we could not check in until 17.30. We arrived at 17.40 and given the worst room in the hotel. One part of the bed was under the eaves so you would hit your head when getting up. We asked for another room but were told they were full. We were offered an apartment several minutes walk from the hotel but this was not what we booked. At 90 euros a night this was in no way value for money.
Pros: The bed, linens and decor were beautiful. The restaurant and food were deliscious.
Cons: The rooms were hot with no air conditioning but the windows did open and were safe to leave open overnight
Cons: Steps in the bedroom
Pros: Secure parking around the back of the hotel. Bottled water
Cons: cardboard cups for hot drinks
Pros: Lovely big room, clean & modern. Staff were attentive with good service. Fabulous food.
Cons: Needs air con
Located in Senonches, Hotel de la Foret is a 1-minute drive from Senonches Town Hall and 6 minutes from Perche Water Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We had the great pleasure of staying at the excellent hotel twice; on our way south to the Mediterranean and on our way back to England. It is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and the friendly staff were a delight. We ate in the restaurant on both occasions and were very impressed. The offerings were imaginatively presented and of outstanding quality, you could have cut the steak with a spoon. We are looking forward to returning for a longer stay.
Cons: There is nothing at all to dislike.
Pros: It was OK
Pros: Best chef in France! Superb imaginative cuisine brilliantly presented.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Lovely staff: very friendly and welcoming. Room was large and comfortable. Good, modern bathroom.
Cons: Nothing: all good.
Pros: The fact that we could access our booked room, even when they were not there. We had a problem in the room, and they went out of their way to sort it out.
Cons: There was nothing not to like. They made us feel very welcome
Pros: Lovely, Friendly hotel. Food was exceptional. Catered well for children. Staff were very helpful and attended to all our needs. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Pros: Lovely quiet, bright and airy room. Croissants arrived a little late at breakfast but were worth waiting for, piping hot and freshly baked.
Cons: Shower was weak and not very hot.
Pros: Safe parking
Cons: price of meal

With a stay at The Originals City, Hôtel des Lys, Dreux (Inter-Hotel) in Dreux, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Dreux Saint-Louis Royal Chapel and Stade Joel-Cauchon. Planning an event in Dreux? This hotel has facilities measuring 1291 square feet (120 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It is conveniently placed for overnight stay.
Cons: The air conditioning wasn’t working and the room was too hot to sleep. Close proximity to main road with overnight lorry traffic made it impossible to have the window open. We were told the air conditioning had broken down and was awaiting repair, but we have stayed here several times over the years and it has never been working. The advertising should not say ‘air conditioned rooms’ and the price should reflect this. The units are all installed and this looks like a cost cutting exercise. As this is also the heating system we assume it conveniently functions in the winter.
Pros: Very friendly lady on reception. She was very helpful.
Cons: Location, it was a bit out of the way from everything.
Pros: Handy for a variety of restaurants. Fuel nearby. Very clean. Used for an overnight stop travelling south and back I again!
Pros: Decent but no fresh juice and bread could be better for France
Cons: Really bad internet
Pros: Quiet, friendly, very comfortable hotel.
Pros: Great beds and bathroom Good valve breakfast
Pros: Concierge brilliant - friendly and helpful Spotlessly clean Secure parking Easy access to town centre by bus €1.30 single. Taxi and Uber cabs available for return after 20.00 hrs Would definitely stay again
Pros: Easy to find and nice continental breakfast. They had pancakes which were cold but my little girl asked and a member of staff warmed one up which made her day. Good with babies as well and very quiet .
Cons: Nothing wrong.
Pros: Lovely big room. Very comfortable king size bed. Lovely en suite shower room. Pretty decor. Good parking.
Cons: Not much choice of restaurants nearby but the nearest one turned out to be good.
Pros: Location was fine with a few restaurants in walking distance. Secure carpark.
Cons: No tea/coffee making facilities in our room.
Auberge La Pomme de Pin is a former coaching inn dating from the 17-th century. Situated in the medieval city of Senonches, it features a restaurant that serves traditional French dishes and wines. Free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV are provided in all guest rooms at La Pomme de Pin. Each room has its own bathroom with a hairdryer. A room service breakfast is available every morning at Auberge La Pomme de Pin. Local fish, poultry and game are served in the restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner. Guests can also enjoy the on-site bar. La Loupe Train Station is 11 km from Auberge La Pomme de Pin. Chartres and its famous cathedral are 43 km away. Free private parking is provided.
Pros: The food was excellent. The parking is tucked away. I had a puncture and the owner was very helpful and supportive. The village is small but very pretty and the hotel location en route back to the channel ports is very good.
Cons: I had a slightly wonky toilet seat, which I reported and I'm sure was fixed. My soap dispenser emptied itself, again reported.
Pros: Helpful staff. Lovely restaurant.
Cons: Bathroom was quite small and easily 'swamped' by the shower.
Pros: Quiet comfortable room at the back, private secure parking, friendly and efficient reception staff. The evening meal was really outstanding and excellent value. Each course was perfectly cooked and presented, with great attention to detail and presentation. Really impressive.
Cons: The main bedroom light had a sensor on it which overrode the main light switch, so if you had the light switched off it would turn itself on as you walked past it. We spent a lot of time turning it off! It was impossible to find a way to avoid triggering it, so was especially irritating if it switched itself on in the middle of the night if one of us had to get up for any reason. Very disturbing to the other person. It's also environmentally unfriendly and wasteful of resources. If we had been staying more than one night we would have said something about it.
Cons: Great restaurant, warm welcoming, rooms surprisingly modern.
Pros: Good location, close to shops, cafes, bars in village. There were lovely gifts of home made apple juice, cider, snacks, cherries. Staff very welcoming. Beautiful grounds and easy private parking.
Cons: In the separate lodge where we stayed, the bathroom was built for easy access for disabled guests but this did create a problem with water from the shower flowing across the bathroom floor and out the door a bit. Not a major problem but maybe some alterations could be made to avoid this happening.
Pros: Large comfortable bed in large bedroom. Good lighting. Good bathroom with bath and shower. Good efficient heating ( it was a v cold November night ), Good meal with interesting dishes. We drank from the wines by the glass on offer which were also good. We travelled with dogs and there is a very good park round a lake nearby.
Cons: The hotel didn’t open till 6 pm that evening.
Cons: Lovely Auberge in a nice Town. Friendly staff. Private parking. The best thing about the Auberge is the restaurant, the food is superb.
Pros: Such a friendly hotel! Beautiful grounds to walk in and they made our dog very welcome. He was even able to come in to the restaurant with us. We will definitely be staying there again!
Pros: Very friendly welcome and the availability of parking on site. Very old town and the hotel is an old building with charm. The dinner was very good and staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was also very good.
Cons: The shower was over a bath and, for older folk (like me) can be difficult to use. We had to be careful not to spray the whole room..
Cons: This establishment is over rated as a 3 star hotel. The bar area was very poor, with no comfortable seating, and very poor selection of drinks. The hotel car parking area was so far from the hotel that you needed a Sherpa to attend to transport your luggage to your room. The breakfast was just about the worst we have experienced in France. A very poor hotel not up to even the basic standard of logis.
8.5 Excellent (114 reviews)
See hotel page Named after the Gauls who used to inhabit this region, The Originals City, Le Relais des Carnutes, Dreux West provides perfect comfort with contemporary decor. In Brezolle, near to main roads, Karine Hebert and Thibault Leroy warmly welcome both business guests and holidaymakers. They provide refurbished rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a free private car park.
Pros: It was ok but never saw the proprietors
Cons: Although the bed was comfortable and the room decor pleasing. The basics were missing. We were two people and there was only one bath towel and one hand towel. The kettle had to be put on the floor to reach the electric plug and there was only one cup. We booked the hotel on the understanding that there was a restaurant on site from the Booking.com website. On arrival after 7hrs travelling through France we were told the restaurant was closed on a Saturday and Sunday. The proprietor made no apology and sent us into the village saying we could get something like a pizza there. There was nothing open in the village. On arrival back the proprietors were not around so we had to use bits to eat from the food we bought with us for our car journey. I did requested a room with 2 single beds which we didn't get I didn't feel like asking to change since by this time it was gone 10pm and just wanted to get to sleep. The hotel is obviously set up to cater for business clientes and has no warmth or generosity of spirit.
Pros: Possibility to make our check-in the night
Pros: Evening meal and breakfast, friendly staff even if no English
Cons: Given a disabled room ? Very noisy if open window, very hot if not. No hairdryer, only one large towel, two small ones, no tea making facility. Wet room didn’t drain away at all, all night!
Pros: The rooms where spacious very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was sufficient but a little pricey.
Pros: Breakfast good, Location not pretty, Hotel light clean and airy very friendly. Only one room suitable for disabled and this was being used, which meant a struggle up stairs to first floor.
Cons: disabled accomadation
With a stay at Hotel le Beffroi in Dreux, you'll be a 3-minute walk from Dreux Museum of Art and History and 11 minutes by foot from Dreux Saint-Louis Royal Chapel. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Location was excellent for exploring the town
Cons: As we were on the top floor a lift would have been extremely useful
Pros: Very central hotel, in an old house. The dining room was neat, overlooking the riverbank, the breakfast with eggs, salami, cheese, coffee, cakes.
Cons: It's was very uncomfortable if you come by car. You don't even have a place where you leave it to take out the luggage from the car unless you violate traffic laws.
Pros: Hotel was central, great position. Rooms excellent and comfortable. Breakfast very good. The welcome and help from the person who greeted us on arrival and who was on duty throughout our stay was brilliant. She was really friendly and helpful
Cons: You had to pay for parking. As we paid more than normal for the stay we felt there should have been at least a discount for parking.
Pros: Good breakfast. Location
Cons: Lift for heavy cases
The B&B Hôtel Dreux Centre provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The hotel is conveniently located a short 1km drive from Train Station Of Dreux. There's plenty to do nearby, with Office de Tourisme de l'Agglo du Pays de Dreux, and Circuit de l'Ouest Parisien all just a both distance away. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Dreux hotel features parking on site.
Pros: Great location, right in the town with restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Rooms were very basic, but clean so no complaints. Check in was all automated which was extremely straightforward. Not going to set the world alight, but clean and good value for money. Perfect for our needs.
Cons: Parking is in the nearby public car park which is relatively cheap but is an additional charge. We used the hotel to go the Ryder Cup, so the car was only really parked there overnight, so was not too expensive, but something to consider if you're planning on leaving the car there all week/weekend.
Pros: Location very central.
Cons: Parking for two nights quite difficult. Not hotel's fault though it doesn't have it's own car park as it is right in the centre of town - Dreux not very tourist friendly.
Pros: The breakfast was very good with high class products and the breakfast room was bright and welcoming. The hotel is right opposite the covered market so it was nice to have a leisurely stroll around the pedestrian area around the hotel.
Cons: Not very easy to park short stay for unloading the baggage.Perfec
Pros: Its no nonsense. Codes for all doors so cannot lock yourself out if keycard stops working. Good location in Dreux
Cons: Breakfast was not great. Poor selection. 1 fruit available and sometimes stale. Coffee was dull and lukewarm.
Pros: Helpful staff, central location, public parking right next to hotel
Cons: Difficult to find. No parking underground parking very close €8 overnight. Hotel in town center
Pros: I had asked for a quiet room and really appreciated to have been given a quiet room on the third floor.. When I arrived I was welcomed by a very helpful young man who told me everything I needed to know. The room was very clean , the bed very comfortable . The cleaners were discreet when doing their job and this allowed me to sleep longer which helped as I had come to compete in the french athletics championships.. The B&B was ideally situated for that purpose . It's closeness to shops was great.
Cons: I would have liked to have a kettle and cup to be able to make my own tea/coffee .
Cons: Nobody on reception
Pros: Just perfect. Great breakfast. Air con was broken but we were soon put in another room
Cons: Don’t eat in Del Arte restaurant next door. Rubbish food and very rude staff
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Bit tired. Bathroom could do with a spruce up.

Pros: Super bed, beautiful and quiet room, friendly staff and good location, perfect !!

Cons: Hotel not open when we arrived at 17.30 and then discovered that you had double booked me

Cons: Distance to trek with suitcases from car park over rough path. Reception Hours very limited. 'caution' taken against damage - not mentioned in booking
Pros: We stayed Monday to Friday so it was quiet and we had the facilities to ourselves most of the time. Sauna and use of boats were great and swimming pool and play areas for small kids were also excellent!
Cons: After a long drive, we arrived to find the restaurant/bistro was closed for food. It only opens at weekends at this time of year apparently... no mention of this when viewing details on website or during booking. Very disappointing.
Cons: Unfortunately, the indoor swimming pool was closed without explanation or notice for most of our stay.
