Pros: The hostess was warm, knowledgeable and a great cook. The location is excellent for exploring the Medoc region.
Pros: Many plesent details, close to wineries, good suggestions
Pros: Excellent location! Very helpful and friendly owners! Very good breakfast and dinner! We have been 3 in a very large nice room.
Pros: We liked the stylish interior, good bathroom, warmly welcoming staff, a nice dinner and especially the view: right to the Château Pichon Longueville Baron. My dream came true. So, location was great as well as parking facilities. I even has left my feedback in the guestbook. Highly recommended.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent - simple but great. Home made jams, good coffee and croissants. Check in was like visiting a friend, no formalities. We had dinner one night, superb ! Simple home cooking and thoroughly recommended. Great wine list including some lovely wines by the glass using a Coravin. Decently priced too.
Cons: Nothing - it was all good
Pros: I stayed at this bnb with my daughter and niece, and we had such a lovely time. The owners were gracious and extremely helpful. Breakfast every morning was delicious, and definitely ask if they can make your dinner as well-- it was five stars! The whole house was gorgeous, we asked to check out all the rooms and each was unique and beautiful. It was just a short walk to a beautiful chateau and a quick drive to everywhere else. 10/10!
Cons: We booked through booking.com so there was a little confusion upon arrival as to the amount of guests and what room we would be staying in. The owners handled the situation perfectly, and this didn't affect our trip at all!
Pros: Dining was a gastronomic experience and a truly memorable occasion , the owner is a most talented chef producing most attractive and mouthwatering dishes.
Cons: Every detail was perfect from the welcome to the care taken to make ones stay a delight.
Located in Listrac-Medoc, Domaine de Ludeye is a 5-minute drive from Chateau Fourcas Hosten and 6 minutes from Chateau Baudan. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We stayed only one night as we were flying out the next day. We had dinner with the owners which was really nice. They speak excellent English and are very interesting people. Dinner was simple but tasty and we had wine from a neighbour.
Cons: No significant complaints. Only that the room was up a very steep and narrow staircase, so it was hard to get the suitcase up (and down) without scraping the walls. The breakfast was Okay, but it would have been nice to have fresh croissants. The bread was excellent.
Pros: Our stay was just perfect and as expected - quiet beautiful place in the middle of vineyards. Super nice hostes, tasty breakfast, very nice and clean room. All what you need if you are looking for a relaxed trip in the heart of Medoc!
Pros: We stayed there for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay at this B&B. Owners are very welcoming and gave us a lots of tips about nearby restaurants. Rooms were bigger than we expected, clean and bright. Breakfast was delicious and the thing that stood out for us is the hospitality.
Cons: Not that many restaurants nearby and you need a car to move around.
Pros: The rooms were clean and nicely decorated
Cons: The owner sprinted out of the building on our arrival and shouted that we are too early instead of welcoming us first in a friendly way. Everything we asked for seemed to be a burden for them and we really got the feeling that they just want us to leave ... They had a private dinner party organized which stressed them so much and the seemed to be busy with all the cooking that we were only their secondary concern.. There were so many examples where we just felt like a burden ....We did not feel welcomed at all eventhough we tried to be extra friendly with them (usually it should be the other way around or at least both ways)
Pros: The excellent breakfast: fresh bread and croissant, very good green tea. Very comfortable bed. Our host who was most helpful and hospitable.
Pros: Super clean. Lovely room, bathroom and pool area. Comfy bed.
Pros: The lady was very cheerful and accommodating. Beautiful clean surroundings . A++

Pros: Absolutely unique experience to have an entire chateau as your own ‘home’ for the duration of the stay. A beautiful place!
Pros: The wine tour was fantastic. The setting is incredible.
Pros: We stayed at the La Tour Carnet for one night and had a wonderful experience! The staff was very helpful and always had a smile on their faces! The rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The grounds were also perfectly manicured and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife (unfortunately we missed the peacocks!) We also took a tour of the winery, which was very interesting. The wine was delicious and we left with a few bottles that we will be saving for a special occasion. Highly recommend if you are traveling through the Medoc region.
Pros: We had a great stay at Château La Tour Carnet: beautiful caste from the 12th century with lovely decorated rooms. The staff was very friendly and really made us feel welcome. The other room (there are only 2 in total) was not rented, so we had the whole castle to ourselves. We had a Grand Cru bottle of wine from the château out on the terrace, and enjoyed watching the white and black swans. After a luxurious breakfast, we had a tour of the wine making area followed by a wine tasting. It was impressive to see the combination of tradition and modern technology. We will be back!
Cons: The wifi couldn't keep up with all the photographs we were sending to our family and friends ;-)
Pros: It was on beautiful grounds and hi basically had an opportunity to love like a King !
Pros: The stay in La Tour Carnet is the most unforgettable memory of us during this trip. It was so unique and special experience and the staff are always beside when needed. Luckily we’re the only guests for 2 nights which means we own the whole castle! The night starring sky is also a highlight. (See attached photos I took there). Big thanks for Catherine who’s super nice, warm hearted and high efficient. She give us a big help when we got some troubles. Definitely will stay La Tour Carnet next time in Bordeaux!
Pros: Breakfast was good, a traditional french breakfast and was set out on the main dinging table which looked amazing. The castle is amazing, we would suggest stopping off at a supermarket nearby and stocking up on some nibbles for the evening if you dont have any plans as there isn't that much in the way of restaurants around the nearby villages of the castle, the patio area is lovely to spend the evening on drinking some local wine. Would highly recommend
Cons: Nothing, was a lovely place to stay
Pros: Lovely place, it was nice that they let us see everything.

Pros: Nice guesthouse with two rooms, each with its own bathroom. Host is very friendly and willing to help out with recommendations for restaurants etc. Bathroom looked brand new. Is about 10-15 min drive away from pauilliac. Breakfast included.
Pros: Great breakfast, friendly hosts attentive to guest's needs. Nice room, modern and not missing style. Great location for visiting vineyards. Recommended.
Pros: Nice place, good location. The room is just like the one on the pictures.
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: Some cat hair on the blanket
Pros: The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked this specifically to be close to the Marathon du Medoc start and it worked out great.
Cons: A different sort of pillow would have suited us better but only a minor discomfort :)
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and our host was very friendly and he tried to communicate with us. For our purposes it was in an excellent position. I requested assistance with a couple of things that were not expected for our host to assist us with and they were graciously given to us - I would love to go back there again and will if we are ever in that area again.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like.

Pros: Been in way less luxurious five star hotels Great and very friendly service
Pros: Situated in a pretty vineyard , the building is lovely from the outside .
Cons: The rooms and interiors were far from the expected luxury of a Relais et Châteaux property . The linens were not particularly fine , the furniture looked very pedestrian and the bed was so hard and So uncomfortable I had to request two duvets to be placed underneath me for padding . The breakfast was ridiculously overpriced as were the wines by the glass, kind of odd in the wine country . We stayed Monday and Tuesday so the restaurant was not open , the only food available was a plate of cheese or ham . The cafe in the village of Bages however was open and our Tuesday night dinner was excellent .
Pros: Everything !
Pros: Located in the middle of wine-country the place is perfect for Chateau hopping. Beautifully maintained property, lovely decoration, nice atmosphere. Lovely and welcoming staff. Nice bistro in the nearby village. Highly recommended.
Cons: Not a big fan of the glass wall/partition seperating bathroom and bedroom. No privacy there... (Toilet in a separate room).

Pros: Located in the vineyard, really peaceful and remote location, had the personal touch. Room was a good size with modern bathroom. Breakfast was really good and the wine produced at Chateau Mayne Lalande is wonderful. Some excellent restaurants within a 10 minute drive
Pros: it so quiet, and the room is bigger than I thought, and cleaning, suit for the vacation and relax.
Pros: We enjoyed the warm welcome by Mathieu and Bernard. Very peaceful setting. Conveniently situated to visit Medoc’s region and in bonus, their wine is excellent.
Pros: Spa facilities looked very nice. The bed was very large and comfortable. The property was very beautiful. Too bad it was winter, we would have loved to use the swimming pool.
Pros: Mayne Lalande is located in the country side of the Medoc area, about 10 km from Margaux, 30 km from Bordeaux and 60 km from St Emilion. The owner of the property, Bernard, produces the best Medoc we have tasted so far and his winery is the most beautiful and perfectly maintained winery of all that we have visited. We loved the room we stayed in, with a very comfortable bed, spacious, clean, modern bathroom and a beautiful view over a meadow with trees in the background. We truly appreciated the lovely welcome by Bernard and his staff and the lovely wines that he treated us with.
Pros: Peaceful location. Big rooms. Beautiful pool and Hot Tub. Delicious breakfast. All in all a good place to stay.

Pros: The location and the old fashioned décor. Wine and food okay for a hotel
Pros: The room - exceeded expectations. The garden area with seating was an oasis of quiet. All the staff, especially those on Reception, could not have been more obliging and helpful.
