Pros: Everything was excellent, extremly friendly and caring hosts. We highly recommend this place !
Pros: I have been to this fantastic house before Francoise and Patric took over and did a much needed & delicate overhaul. They are very amiable hosts and we enjoyed our stay with them very much. Will definitely come back.
Pros: The welcome was excellent. The rooms cleaned every day with a change of sheets halfway through the week. Quality throughout.
Cons: Difficult to find and parking was restricted.
Pros: excellent stay, very nice house and garden, super-friendly owners. Nice little village, close to hiking area.
Pros: It is a pleasant and beautiful hotel run by a family couple. They are very nice and friendly people. We loved our stay in Buis les Baronnies and hope to come again.

Pros: A very warm, friendly welcome when we arrived (even though we had been delayed en-route and arrived quite late). The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. There was a fantastic selection of toiletries etc in the bathroom. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with a wide selection of home-made/local jams/honey etc, along with breads, pain-au-chocolat, yoghurts, fresh orange juice, tea/coffee etc. We sat out in the garden/terrace and enjoyed views of the countryside with butterflies and bees working busily around us. We honestly couldn't ask for more and would have loved to stay longer.
Cons: Google-maps unfortunately doesn't have exactly the correct location for the B&B due to the road having only been named recently (and some maps not actually showing the road), but this is obviously not the B&B's fault and thus not technically something we didn't like about the B&B. :-)
Pros: Clean, elegant and stylish. Tempting view of Ventoux, super breakfast included but worth the treat to have an omelette as an extra. Very useful fridge available.
Pros: It was all great. Lady Dornand was super friendly and the room had a very nice view of the Mount Ventoux. Breakfast was super good as well and every day with different things. The location is perfect to visit the towns nearby, from Vaison la Romaine to Orange, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Gordes.
Pros: Madam was so very kind, the location was perfect and it was amazing value.
Cons: The approach was a bit tricky for a bicycle, but that was in no way a detraction from the stay.
Pros: Very quite location with view on the Mont Ventoux. Very kind host. Excellent breakfast (fresh orange juice, fresh fruit). Nice and clean room and bath room.
Cons: The last part of the road was not in good condition, but was going to be renewed.
Pros: Marie-Jose had very little English, however, between our little bit of French and her little bit of English, we got along very well. The house was very clean.
Cons: There were very few eating places in the area.
With a stay at Hotel Les Arcades Le Lion d'Or, you'll be centrally located in Buis-les-Baronnies, 26.9 mi (43.3 km) from Mont Ventoux and 10.5 mi (16.9 km) from Cave la Comtadine.
Pros: Very old, very French, very good location. Staff and owners very nice welcoming, friendly and helpful. Quirky room, loved it, very nice views of terrace and little pool. Garden area too is well looked after, very restful to relax in after sightseeing.
Cons: There was nothing I could fault- I would just be being unnecessarily picky!!
Pros: Great welcome, assistance and service. many thanks to the team. It was really a beautifull weekend and a very nice room
Pros: Location, staff and cleanliness all really good
Cons: No fridge in room, breakfast was basic
Pros: hotel has character - very old (but very well maintained) & interesting decor excellent breakfast, spacious room, pleasant garden & pool
Cons: beds too hot
Pros: The accommodation was of a very high standard and the staff genuinely friendly and very welcoming.
Cons: That we couldn't stay longer!!
Pros: Nice tucked away spot but central to everything.
Pros: There were many things that I liked, the hotel itself was very grand and spacious, the room was large and easy to move around in, the bed was extra large... Importantly there was a swimming pool which after 7 hours riding a bike in extreme heat was just wonderful. Next to the pool was a lovely garden you could relax in... The Hotel itself was also quiet and peaceful even though it had central location, so close to restaurants. Finally, I must mention the excellent hospitality of the staff, the young Lady who checked me in, Laure was most helpful and friendly, showing me to my room, keeping the pool open late for me, and even calling local restaurants to make sure they would take me at a late hour.
Cons: There was shower over bath whereas a shower would have been nice. But on balance this almost didn’t matter as everything else was so good.

Pros: From checking with us before we arrived, to all their help during our stay (restaurant, hiking, shopping recommendations), to the warm welcome and amazing food offered to us, to making sure we found our next destination after we'd left, yet still knowing when to give us some space and privacy, our hosts here were amazing. The location was beautiful and easy to find. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We felt like we'd spent a couple of days staying with old friends. Thank you!
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: What a gem of a place!! What a WONDERFUL welcome from our Hosts in a place of such interest and beauty....we loved every minute of our week near Ventoux. Loved it MORE THAN SAUSAGES!!! Salut Yvonne and Finn!
Pros: The place was just awesome and the owners were really great people, I highly recommend the place !
Cons: The wearher was quite rainy so we couldn‘t enjoy the lovely garden
Pros: The best accommodation during my South France trip! Everything is excellent! You can't imagine how best the room is when you just see it on the street. Modern design and nice decoration. Simple cereals in the morning. Bathroom is perfect! Like the little Terrance a lot! The lamp in front of every room is super cute and nice! Must return!
Pros: Very nice guesthouse and very kind hosts. We enjoyed the stay there and would consider revisiting next time we travel there.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with special attention from the friendly hosts.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The pool was cold
Pros: Room view is spectacular! The best view i ever had from a hotel room. Room was clean. We didn't eat at hotel so can't judge that.
Cons: There was pool cleaning robot in pool during our stay (two days) and no one bothered to take it out. Pool was generally clean but it needs some refreshening as well as hotel itself. There was a hole in shower door and if you are not careful enough water comes out and you could have your own private pool inside your bathroom.
Pros: Great location, garage for the motorbikes..great diner & breakfast..
Pros: Upgraded free of charge to a room with a view and more space.
Cons: Spa facilities were not explained and appeared limited
Pros: Location was stunning.
Cons: The family suite we had did not look like the one advertised on the hotel website as ours was much darker.
Pros: Wonderful location, food and wine excellent and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and multilingual.
Cons: WiFi was rubbish
Pros: good service from the staff
Cons: it was a little bit noisy
Pros: The swimming pool is a must in August
Cons: The WC is really a shame, parking can be difficult if hotel is full
Pros: Hotel is situated in the middle of forested mountains. You get a great view. There is a nice pool and the staff are very friendly. The dinner we had was excellent. I highly, highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: I have nothing to be negative about. The positive aspects of the hotel make up for anything that was relatively sub-par, such as the small room size and aging bathroom.

Pros: The Chalet is gorgeous, the room was really cosy and Alpine. The restaurant also has a cosy Alpine feel. The hosts are lovely, really welcoming and thoughtful. We had the evening meal and it was excellent
Pros: Dominique and Philippe, the owners, could not do enough for us. We arrived after 9 on our first evening after travelling and hadn't eaten since lunchtime. They thought nothing of preparing something for us. We ate at the property for all of the 3 nights we stayed and the food was fabulous - local dishes using local produce. We don't speak too much French - Dominique and Phillipe made every effort to communicate in English, which was greatly appreciated! I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Cons: There was nothing we disliked about our stay!
Pros: Amazing, great location, we parked motorcycle right under bedroom, we are vegetarian and they made us an amazing 4 course vegetarian dinner. Would happily recommend and we will come back for another stay when we are In the area. 10 out of 10.
Pros: Very convenient for biking Ventoux. The food by Philip and his partner was excellent with great personal service.
Cons: No good views from windows. Close to family entertainment on Serein so had children noise during the day but very quiet at night.
With a stay at Hotel Le Saint Marc in Mollans-sur-Ouveze, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Cave la Comtadine and Roman Bridge. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and a library. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Second time here and it's as good as before. Very relaxing, friendly staff, lovely pool area, big bedroom with A/C and excellent restaurant - eating outside was a joy.
Pros: Very friendly family hotel in a small beautiful village we know very well. I had often wondered what the hotel was like, and it's very good indeed! Perfect as a base for cycling holidays
With a stay at Hôtel Sous l'Olivier in Buis-les-Baronnies, you'll be 27.2 mi (43.9 km) from Mont Ventoux and 10.8 mi (17.4 km) from Cave la Comtadine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Paul at reception made the stay fantastic as did Laurence the chef
Pros: Beautiful location. Helpful reception.
Cons: Nothing really. I think the hotel is probably very different in the season but it was fine for our purposes.
Pros: Good breakfast. Bed comfortable. Nice atmosphere. Lovely clean pool.
Cons: Having to carry up the luggage in staircase to 2nd floor
Pros: Room size was nice and comfortable. Size of bathroom was nice and so was the shower, but the shower comes without a shower curtain. We didn't eat at the restaurant because we would leave early and return late, touring the lavender fields and other areas. Stairs were used to get to our room on the first level. We really appreciated the air conditioner. Temperatures were hot in the area. Often, there is a limit on how cool you can set the AC, which we typically find not cool enough, and at first we thought it may be the same at this location, but we were extremely happy that we were able to cool our room at a very low level for our comfort. We had a balcony which overlooked the outside dining area. From the balcony, we could enjoy the sound of the nearby stream and the singing cicadas. There was a swimming pool on the property which looked inviting, but we forgot to bring swim wear. We were happy to have free and safe parking. There was a nice feeling of a somewhat secluded area, yet close to the village center, but a bit of time to drive to and from the areas that we wanted to tour. This accommodation and the village seemed to be a popular area based upon the number of people we saw, we are guessing it is quite a draw for nature lovers. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for our stay.
Cons: Since the purpose of our trip was primarily to tour the lavender fields near Sault. Had I known more about the location and area, I probably would have booked a closer location. When looking at maps, distances looked short, but because of the roads and villages and Mount, driving times were often more than we expected. This no way reflects on the accommodation, but on my lack of familiarity of the area when making the booking.
Pros: The staff were so helpful and friendly. The pool and outdoor eating area was fantastic
Featuring an outdoor pool, which is heated from April to October, Chambre d'hôtes Les Parrans offers B&B accommodation in Mollans-sur-Ouvèze. Free WiFi access is available. Each room features a terrace and a satellite TV. The private bathroom has a shower and also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. A gourmet breakfast is included and served every morning. Evening meals featuring local and international dishes can be prepared upon request. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including cycling and hiking. Mollans-sur-Ouvèze Medieval Village is a 5-minute walk away, Vaison-la-Romaine is a 20-minute drive away and Mont Ventoux is a 45-minute drive away. The property offers free parking.
Cons: For the first time in many years reading the reviews beforehand has put me on the wrong foot. An average of 8.6 is not realistic for what les Parrans has to offer. A more realistic rating is around 6. The main reason for a just above average rating is the inability of the hostess, Martine, to give guests a feeling of warm welcome. Martine, I am sure unwillingly, almost gives you the impression that you are a burden as a guest. When Martine would be able to change her approach and attitude to a welcoming host, who enjoys the company of her guests, I am sure this would translate itself in a far better ambience. Les Parrans now breathes an athmosphere of disinterest and neglect. Some examples of this neglect are: a small, discoloured, unappealing sign at the roadside, that almost falls over; the parking places overgrown with weeds and P signs that are thrown on the ground; rooms without comfortable chairs; beds with very low quality duvets (old sleeping bags?); a pile of old leaflets left by previous guests; a flooding shower due to an insufficiently high threshold; sticky jamjars at breakfast and broken teapots. The house and pool are lovely, so there is a good basis but les Parrans needs a good awakening to the world of professional hospitality.
Featuring a swimming pool, a bar and a garden and views of the garden, Mas de Coccinelles is set in Mollans-sur-Ouvèze and offers accommodation with free WiFi. Fitted with a terrace, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. Mas de Coccinelles offers a barbecue. Orange is 47 km from the accommodation, while Vaison-la-Romaine is 14 km away. The nearest airport is Avignon-Provence Airport, 62 km from Mas de Coccinelles.
Pros: Hosts were friendly.
Cons: Did not have our reservation. Room was dirty. No air conditioning and no screen to keep out bugs when the window was opened.
Pros: The breakfast was nice and big. The room was clean and the location seemed really nice and spacious.
Cons: NEVER AGAIN We were supposed to arrive between 10 and 11 pm. We looked the address up on Google maps and arrived around 10:45 but it seemed to be the wrong address and a nice lady told us that there were to streets with the same name within the same postcode. So we drove to the other address and called our host and she told us something about the address being the wrong address again. She tried to direct us to her house (only in French) and everytime we followed her directions she told us afterwards we were wrong again. After about half an hour she told us that her house doesn't even have a number and isn't even in the street as described on booking. She seemed really confused. Around 11:45 we finally made it to the house (without my daughter's French skills it would never have been possible) and met the host. She was nice, but again, seemed really confused and to be frankly smelled a bit like she had a (or 5) glass of wine too much. My daughter asked her when the check out and breakfast would be and she didn't even really answer anymore and just said it would be up to us. The next morning her husband woke us up, knocked at 9:40 at our door and told us we would have to leave the room in 20 minutes, even though his wife didn't say a word the night before. She didn't even to seem to remember our conversation anymore.
Pros: A warm welcome from the couple who run this Chambre d'Hote. Rooms are nicely furnished and the availability of a small swimming pool was welcome after a long day on the bike.
Pros: Even though we don’t speak French we managed to communicate very well. The breakfast was fantastic, the hosts as well. Would like to come here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Cons: We were missing a single bed
With a stay at Le Cloître des Dominicains in Buis-les-Baronnies, you'll be 26.9 mi (43.3 km) from Mont Ventoux and 10.5 mi (16.9 km) from Cave la Comtadine. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
Pros: The breakfast was quite good self service and we also had an evening meal good value for money. In this town there were lots of pizza places which we didn't want . Not much choice of anything else but a very expensive restaurant. Lovely building and setting from the outside
Cons: The room was a bit basic but we probably expected that and we had to make up our own bed and clean our room as if we didn't we could be charged a fee. You really should not be doing this as no other hotels have this practice. it is usually places like youth hostels who require you to do it
Pros: Liked the fact it is an ancient building and location in the village...but it makes it difficult to park
Cons: The stairs...because I have bad knees! Late check in... far too late To have to make my own bed! This is what you pay for in a hotel Echoing corridors with Noisy guests
Pros: Great staff and location, in the center of the old village of Buis
Pros: The ambience of the cloisters, the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent evening meals
Cons: We suggest parties of school children are accepted on condition that they are located away from other guests and that they are supervised by their own staff between the hours if 10.00 pm and 7 am
Pros: The courtyard area was lovely and peaceful and the games facilities were great for the kids.
Cons: Very basic room. Had to make up our beds. Shower was tiny.was very dated and more dormitory style.
