Pros: A gem of authentic French hospitality - dog, motorbike and Brit friendly :-) Makes you wonder why in heavens name we decided to leave the Eu! Very friendly host, we had a very large room and en-suite and the dog loved being there and was made very welcome. Immediately felt at home after a long drive. Slept really well and not too far off the main roads in a lovely quiet location. Excellent breakfast and home cooked evening meal, ready for us when we arrived. Will stay again!

Pros: Lovely location. Owners Eric and Catherine were very welcoming and helpful. In the evening we had a lovely salad+dessert+wine for 25 euro - sitting in the sun looking at a wonderful view across the fields. The property is old and beautifully restored. The room was spacious and spotless. We had a very good continental breakfast in the morning.
Cons: We were told we would be sharing the bathroom with one other person which we weren't expecting but it didn't really matter.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored old farm house close to the main road but far enough away to be totally quiet with a lovely country feel. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and spoke just enough English to make things easy. We had a light evening meal of bread, cheese and cold cuts with a lovely bottle of red which was very reasonably priced, after which we sat in the garden to soak up the evening sun. I would definitely stay there again an would recommend it.
Cons: Nothing

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a rural location so it's a few minutes drive to the nearest village in either direction. We had breakfast which was fine typically french/continental hotel style. We had dinner in the local town. Ideal stopover on our journey south.
Cons: No tea or coffee facility in room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: On a stopover en-route to the south of France. Had a room perfect for our needs (we were travelling with 2 dogs). There was only one staff member present when we stayed and she was wonderful. Made a huge effort at short notice to cater for my wife in the restaurant (who is pescatarian). The hotel is not a luxury facility, it is functional and aimed at outward bound activities, its location and situation is excellent and the property is highly attractive and spotlessly clean and well kept. Couldn't speak highly enough of it and would happily recommend it
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: We didn`t expect to have to wait until 5 pm to check in
