Lovely location, gorgeous setting, wifi included, blissfully comfortable bed Rooms could have used another light; a bit dim at night
The position and setting of the hotel and it's unique style. The quality and presentation of the food. The Coumtryside room that we occupied lacked light and would have benifitted by an additional cieling mounted lamp.
Fantastic location, rather quirky Expensive Champagne breakfast
Gorgeous view on the Seine, nice room and an excellent restaurant, all at very affordable prices.
Wonderful location overlooking the Seine.Food was excellent if a little expensive Rooms were very nice but suffer from the aesthetic approach rather than practical-no curtain or separation for the shower in the bathroom so water goes everywhere-but it looks good!
Excellent position, with views over Seine, from room (side view) and restaurant. Good parking, right in front of hotel. Booked a garden room, which is admittedly the economy room, but very dissapointing. Did not look at all like picture on website. Attic room with little headroom, too dark - not enough lights and deep purple decor made it worse. Couldn't see to read properly. No bath, we were not asked if we wanted one, and prospectus did not say there wasn't one. Dinner 22euro choice looked good but starters were poor - miniscule piece of fish 3 inches x 1 inch, and what was the tasteless egg floating in a sea of liquid? Maincourse good, but no vegetables whatsoever. Headwaiter's initial approach rather brash and superior.
We were the first reservation that this hotel had received via Booking.com and they thoroughly spoilt us. The gourmet meal was superb and the service impeccable. Ours is the first review of this hotel and we recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a little bit of luxury by the Seine.
The food was superb Our room was very dark and it was located in the 'attic' with very low ceilings, hence we suffered from back ache from bending
Excellent nouvelle cuisine Room very low head height & cramped
Proximity to Giverny enabling a long visit to Monet`s house ,garden and museum with a very pleasant lunch. General feeling of poor management supervision - perhaps we timed our visit badly!!!
The hotel is well equipped and the Chataeu is very impressive It lacks the warmth and service levels of the smaller Loire Chateaus
Nothing. Booked for two nights and checked out the following morning. They sell you the idea of the Chateau, but you stay in a Hilton Style conferance centre. Staff and service best summurised as non existent
Location Food average and typical with France over priced with a lack of choice
Calm 5 star having to leave!
it was quiet and had lovely garden it does not have a proper restaurant and is a bit short of staff
Ambience and setting was very good. General lack of food and beverage facilities.Few staff available and no room service.Shown to the room and generally left to get on with it.
The hotel is quiet, and it has a good parking space. It is also very good to be able to eat dinner in the same hotel you live in. The staff is helpful, and nice. That there are no rooms for smokers!! Which I have understood more guests than me an my friend are finding annoying. Especially, since we who has staid in the hotel for many years remeber that it used to be better before. This is the only reason why we try to find an alternative hotel.
It has to be the bed - very comfortable. And yes the air-con a double bonus during the summer months. We weren't keen on the TV in the eating area but do understand that this is a 'French' thing.
Staff were extremely friendly. The heater was on in the room when we walked in. It felt more welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy. We couldn`t turn the heater off!
Friendliness nad helpfulness of staff.
Restaurant and amenity tray in room
All the staff were very friendly & it was very clean. Nothing to dislike.
1. The hotel has a good restaurant. 2. Safe parking of the car. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Which I understood annoyed several guests, my colluege and myself included. This was not the case the first time I stayed on the hotel. I'd suggest they make it possible to book rooms for smokers.
Easy driving access to channel ports
The room was clean, and a decent size Dinner was expensive, service was slow, the waiter was impatient when we asked questions, even though the restaurant was not busy.
The location is very good, if you visit these parts of France. Good parking space. The hotell has a restaurant, which is a practical thing. The staff is service-minded and nice. The lack of rooms for smokers! This is so bad, that we must find a better hotell to stay in.
It was a budget hotel the rooms were basic but clean & was adequate for a one night stay Rooms did not seem to be allocated before arrival & we didnt get the room we had asked for
the hotel was perfect for an over night stop in France. we were tired and the staff were friendly and helpful,we had a good evening meal in Dreux and the room was very clean and quiet.
basic, but clean, but a bit short of space. however, it was good value for an overnight stop. there was only 1 large and one medium towel for the 2 of us
Overall hotel was clean and fresh looking, rooms were very clean with good state of decor. Campanile Epone had no real Bad points Campanile Beauvais, however, was worst hotel experience i've had, dirty rooms, overall shoddy appearance
Poor food selection, and impoliteness of staff. I have stayed at Campanile hotels before and my stay was pleasant. That is why I chose to stay here again but I must say that my experience at this particular location was subpar.
Close to motorway Restaraunt was very bad service and food not a good standard
friendly staff, modern design of rooms, free parking and free use of wifi. Good to provide electronic kettle with plastic cups and coffee and tea. it's more like a overpriced B&B. The outlook of the hotel is more like a warehouse. The room is extremely small despites its out-of-the-way location. Stain marks on bath curtain and bedsheet. Noise from the main road.
Very close to the motorway and the buffet was amazing!
yes very busy!
We needed a hotel that accepted pets, but won't overnight in Dreux again There are better Premier Classe hotels, and the sister Campanile up the road had a terrible restaurant
You have retained 100 euros deposit from our prepaid debit card in addition to the total payment made at the time. After nearly 3 weeks, we are still waiting for this to be refunded. This has placed us in a difficult financial situation and we have received no explanation from you.
Easy to find except that if you use google for the Brive Hotel it sends you completely the wrong way. We much prefered the Chartres Marmotte. The lack of a restaurant and in the case of Dreux the distance to the Campanile which was very busy with its own clients anmd we gave up waiting.
The reception and breakfast area were nice and clean and pleasant. The breakfast was also good value and well presented. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bed comfotable. Parking was easy. Wi fi is a nice free addition. The room I had needed decoration. Very tired looking and the bathroom needed modernisation. Plastic sink burnt by cigarettes and a shower head that you had to hold because there was no bracket to fix it to the wall. The shower space is very small. I do wonder if any of the Premier Hotel rooms ever get decorated or do they just demolish the Hotel after several years and build again.
Cost, friendly staff, availability of room for disabled Bedding, though cleaan, was worn and ragged
room dirty, sheet not big enough for bed, sink stained
Not applicable Only problem we had was that they only had one room reserved for us instead of the 3 requested on the booking, luckily we arrived when there were staff there and they had enough rooms to accomadate us otherwise it could have been a disaster as we were 2 families travelling together
non smoking room smelled of cigarettes. Shower did not function well.
Premiere Classe hah!, there was abosolutely nothing premier about it, stayed at better hostels. It was dirty, well, filthy, toilet had no flush and leaked all night, noisy, i feel it was used by prostitutes, as they were the sounds we were subjected to. left very early hours after no sleep.
Good parking, nice restaurant Difficult getting into town without bringing the car
Room was clean. Free WiFi. Hotel was very dated and was in need of refurbishment. The room was very basic. The staff were not very friendly. I amended my booking the week before my visit, but the hotel had not been made aware of the changes.
The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable (as much as this price range is typically) and the gardens were very beautiful. Although it was a Tuesday night I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't open and had made the hotel booking with the restaurant in mind. As a result of this, and the fact that it was already 9:30pm when we headed out to eat, we had to settle for take-away Pizza from a nearby town. I don't consider this circumstance to be the fault of the hotel as such but was nonetheless an inconvenience created by the restaurant being shut.
Not much actually Seemed a rough area, poor security, very stuffy room and restuarant closed all weekend plus no breakfast before 9.00am on Saturday.
friendly staff We arrived mid evening and the restaurant only had a "cold platter" available but the Campanile down the street had a marvellous salad buffet which we enjoyed Initially we were given key to a room that was not made up but this was quickly remedied .
the dinner was very tasty and fair priced, but the breakfast was under par
Unappealing building in an industrial area. One towel for two people. No shower curtain. Tv remote did not work even after getting new batteries. Barebone breakfast.
Nice garden in front of the rooms and friendly staff. Good parking. Very old rooms, with little maintenance (paint falling out of windows frame, burned light bulb, walls with almost no sound insulation)
Pleasant staff, clean, reasonable cost Very slippy bath, we both had a fall whilst showering. Locked out of hotel for 15 minutes when keycode failed to open door.
The willingmess of the staff The restaurant was not open on a Saturday night. The young man on duty kindly cooked us some dinner but as we booked this hotel specifically because it had a restaurant we weren't impressed!
