Pros: Danielle is a very charming and delightful host. She was very easy to communicate with prior to our coming and the check-in was a breeze. The room was flawless, tastefully decorated, and shows her attention to detail. Breakfast was a delight for she greeted all of her guests like family members ( I think many are repeats or regular visitors). Food was bountiful and delicious. She even gave me the recipe of her breakfast cake. I would like to add that the location too is great – very walkable to Mont Saint Michel. In fact, my husband and I left our car in her parking site, and walked toward the shuttle buses that carry tourist to Mont Saint Michel.
Cons: None

Pros: Great location. Very welcoming staff, excellent breakfast , comfortable room
7.5 Good
Pros: Decor was nice. Friendly owner. Room clean.
Cons: No aircon. Fan was given but not good enough. The kids on the trampoline outside the window shouting wasnt great as we wanted a nap after a 5 hour drive. Not giving us enough info on the great restaurants at Mont St Michelle let us go to the town instead of on the Mount itself. Restaurants in town was limited...breakfast was too early so we missed it. Bed very comfortable- we both had back ache the next day.

Pros: Another wonderful place! I keep giving 10’s but the places we stay are amazing. Breakfast was enormous with a huge selection. The room was great. Danielle was absolutely delightful. You can go wrong staying here. So close to the Mont and town.
Cons: Nothing. It was great. If I had to say anything it would be that the room could use a fan. Nothing negative and did not impact my review. Another wonderful place to stay in Europe.

The breakfasts were plentiful and offered anything you could have wanted. If you want to stay close to Mont Saint Michel and enjoy a little luxury, this is the place to be.

Pros: Véronique was a splendid host real friendly and helpful. Amazing location , very quiet next to a golf course at 30 minutes by car from Saint Malo and Cancale. We staied in the wood house with our dog, very comfortable. Kind conversation in the morning during the great breakfast. All was wonderful! Ancora grazie e un caro saluto a Véronique!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Charming hostess. Fantastic views onto the golf course which joins on to the garden. Very peaceful setting.
Cons: It is an English thing. I hate to mention it as Veronique would make us a cup of tea at any time, but we do like to have a kettle and cup and saucer in our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was incredibly comfortable, breakfast with fresh orange juice, croissants, farm eggs and great coffee was delicious. Veronique is the best bnb host we have ever experienced. She is welcoming, charming and knowledgeable of the area. It felt like we were staying at the home of good friends. Restaurant recommendations and bookings were outstanding as well. With our limited french language skills, it was very relaxing to converse easily in english (Veronique speaks a number of languages). We really loved everything!

Lovely terrace where we were able to sit and chat to other guests - even offered wine by our wonderful host Veronique ! Clean towels every day. LOTS of space in the room, huge bathroom with fantastic shower. Finally - but most importantly Veronique the host, is a delightful lady who made us feel so welcome and we chatted to for ages "putting the world to rights" ! We have toured France for years and stayed in numerous places - some very good, but L'Oisette is simply the best ever !
Cons: The only negative for us was that on this occasion we couldn't stay longer - hopefully we will back one day !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent stay in a peaceful location which our whole family enjoyed ... quite an achievement given the wide age range! The owner/host provided amazing hospitality and the accommodation is extremely comfortable, with a tasty, fresh breakfast every morning. Her advice certainly helped us get to know the local area & the extensive local facilities (eg golf, tennis), as well as exploring further afield in Brittany & Normandy. Highly recommended.
Cons: The only point to bear in mind is that the owner/host lives on site and therefore it is not technically exclusive use but we really appreciated the interaction and did not find the situation intrusive at all ... indeed quite the reverse!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was an excellent host, very welcoming and a perfect golfing partner. It was a lovely location not only for golf but the surrounding area was very interesting. L'oisette was idyllic and very relaxing. Will most certainly be back.

Pros: Delphine was extremely welcoming and full of handy tips for visiting the area. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated and opened onto a sunny garden. Powerful shower. Very quiet, despite being near a main road. Private off street parking free of charge. Would not hesitate to recommend this place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property was in a beautiful state, the gardens well kept, the rooms is good shape, very clean communal area. The owners are very lovely people, contradicting the rumour that french aren’t kind. They take real good of their guests. The distance from Mont saint Michel is about 50min walk or 15-20mins on a bicycle. I wouldn’t count on a bus. The continental breakfast included croissant, bread, butter, juice, coffee and the most important of all home made black currant jam!
Cons: I wasn’t exactly sure of the distance to the tourist attraction, but the choice of bicycle hire from the property is an excellent choice!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very well located to visit Mont Saint-Michel and other places near by. Very clean and cozy rooms, comfortable bed and cute decorations made our stay super enjoyable. Delphine is very kind, speaks perfect English and went out of her way to give us advices on places to eat, directions to get to places and show us in the map other nearby cities we would enjoy visiting. Breakfast was simple but very good. We tried a different home made jam everyday and they were very delicious. When we left Delphine gave us an apple sider made in the area as a present.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close proximity to Mont St. Michel. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Comfortable, updated room with personal touches (carved out Mont St. Michel artwork on the wall).
Cons: The breakfast was delicious, however it was only bread and jam. We have grown accustom to a variety of breakfast items being offered when traveling in Europe, especially when it is an additional charge. With that being said, we did ask for an egg and ham for our youngest child and Delphine happily brought it out.

Pros: The house is located t at a nice green place, we have had a very good priced dinner at seafood restaurant 3 km away. The breakfast was good.
Cons: I was disappointed to find out the check in is 17 pm. too late, The 4 beds room in fact was about 6 meters in space, barely fits 2 bags. Too tiny, faces the road with passing cars. We had a feeling we had elephants staying the next floor above us. Wold not stay more than one night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is family operated hotel the owner does a wonderful job in making you comfortable. She takes the time to provide a full guide on what to do and when which is very important when visiting Mt. Saint Michelle. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent stay at this BnB. The room was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was decent. Breakfast was good as well. Excellent location for seeing Mont St. Michel but also for seeing some of the areas a little further west. The owner doesn't speak any English but it's still workable for us (it may not be for some.) There are cooking options with a good variety of pans and utensils. We purchased food that we kept in the communal fridge and that worked well for lunch on the road. Easy to find, easy parking which is well appreciated after some of the areas we've been! We didn't need heat while we were there but if you're there on the edges of the season (April/May or October) and the weather is bad you may want to confirm that they have it turned on (we found a number of places turn it off in April and back on in October no matter what the actual weather is so you can't assume.)

We stayed in the family suite which is really big and comfortable, the beds are excellent and we could sleep very well. Roz-Landrieux is a very quiet and peaceful place, close to charming small towns but also perfect location to visit Mont Saint Michel. The kids loved the swiming pool, the animals and the fast wifi connection. The breakfast was extraordinary! fresh fruit, crêpes, cakes and omelettes, everything was delicious. Pros: The owners were very friendly and made my family feel very welcome. The kids loved the parrots and the cats. We felt like guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The energetic and happy attitude of our hostess was delightful. She was quick to answer questions, share about her life and served up an AMAZING hot breakfast that seemed to go on and on. My kids loved the family room with its fun loft bed, the pool, and the sauna. The little kitchen was sufficient for our little picnic dinners.
Cons: There was a strong animal oder on the property, possibly to be expected on a farm. My parents room had a strong smell of smoking which seemed to subside over our time there. Possibly the previous guests had not kept the "no smoking" rules. The parrots that live in the house are fun but noisy at Breakfast.

Pros: The staff were super helpful, location was excellent and the people you meet at the hostel are friendly too.
Cons: I thought that they could have aired the private rooms with some ventilation, and cordoned off the shower area so that water doesn’t splash everywhere.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I want to thank stuff members, who were really helpful and curious. Special thanks for Nanae-san, for finding time to tell me more about Japan.

Pros: While travelling you can stay in all sorts of hostels, but sometimes you come across a pearl, like Edd hostel. I am so glad I stayed here! Not only has it a perfect location in lovely town Dol, it is also closeby beautiful cities and attraction. There are food shuttle services to Mont Saint-Michel. What made my stay the most perfect is the friendly staff. No matter the hour of the day, they are always open to have a nice conversation with you or to give you insider tips. What I loved as well are the showers. It has decent space to undress, while in most hostels I stayed at it had to be in the same cubicle as the water. The beds are really comfortable. Thank you for my pleasant stay!
Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: The ambiance is so relaxed, it’s clean and for anybody! The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We really felt at home and next time we’re in Bretagne, we’ll definitely come back!
Cons: Nothing to complain, really. There’s no kitchen at the hostel but we didn’t miss that at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a modern purpose built hostel and has excellent spacious bedrooms and all the basic facilities you would need. It is across the road from the train station (but no noise) so it is very useful for traveling around the area. Bus stop to Mont St Michel is also close. Cycle routes are great in the area and I cycled there from St Malo. All the staff were very nice and really helpful. Supermarket, laundry and town centre nearby. Highly recommended
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location can be a little intimidating if you're not familiar with the region, but in fact Normandy is so well-connected by bus and train that staying in Dol was the perfect way to incidentally broaden my perspective of the region. I picked the hostel for its affordability and proximity to Pontorson, where the Saint Michel half marathon (and purpose of my trip) started from. The staff at Edd are amazing, personable and welcoming. Emily, the owner, seems to have created the perfect space for travelers to feel both at home and inspired to keep exploring. The wifi is great and works even on the front porch if you're lounging to enjoy the sun. It's also located a two-minute walk from the train station which is perfect for going to other areas of Normandy and then having a great home base to return to. On a personal note, Emily also went out of her way to help me find transportation to Pontorson as the particular weekend I was visiting wasn't very conducive to using public transport. Not only did I end up with a ride to the race--I also made three new friends in the car full of runners that I joined to go to the race!
Cons: My breakfast was a little cold but at three euros, it's really affordable and the coffee was good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: privacy in the dormitory, good organization of beds
Cons: price is high for a hostel near the trainstation

Pros: Our host Jeanne was great especially with different breakfasts each morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a good introduction to the area and attractions from our host despite our limited French. We enjoyed coffee together upon arrival. He gave us good suggestions of places to photograph lighthouses and Mont-Saint-Michel and even took us to an overlooking bridge that evening. He had a parking pass for our visit and gave good advice on time and direction to be ahead of the crowds. Breakfast was quite special with foods of the local type. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.

Pros: Beautiful property with a long view of Mont St. Michel. Jean-Alain was gracious and we were able to communicate with patient Franglish. His breakfast was excellent as well as the room. He knows the area well and is very helpful. We were there on Bastille Day and Sunday and he directed us to one of the best restaurants of our trip (and made our reservation). If you want to get off if the beaten path and enjoy a true French country experience come here.

Cons: the wifi it was hit and miss first day it didn't work , the 2nd day it did for about half an hour so this good be improved a bit , but wont put me off going again next year
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This place exceeded my expectations by far. Was expecting something mediocre as its a "camping" but it was warm, welcoming and much nicer than many hotels. - Location: It was near the bus stop, so not too much walking. Also not far from the Mount, so it was a very quick bus ride. There are also shops and restaurants nearby. - Room: Room was spacious, airy and full of light. Nice basic décor. We also liked that there was everything we needed, TV, drier, etc. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. Much nicer and much cleaner than expected. The icing on the cake (vs some hotels) was the tea, coffee, and kettle offered. - Facilities: The play area/facilities were a hot with my son. It was excellent that they had a trampoline, jumping castle, swings, etc and my son thoroughly enjoyed it and made friends. We wanted to use the pool too but didn't have time, but we managed to play football, and there was an area for basketball and tennis. It was also nice to just look at the horses next door. - Its also great that they have a small shop in the reception area, in case one needs anything. - Best of all was the customer service. Wonderful friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
Cons: Not the fault of the Camping but it would have been nicer if there was a more regular bus that went up and down, to and from the Mount/Mount area. The one that passes by is not so regular as in a city, so sometimes you have to wait and lose time. This is not an issue if you have a car or like walking though. It would be nice to have a restaurant. There are several restaurants across the street though, but this would make it simpler.

Cons: Shuttle to Mt St Michel infrequent

Pros: Liked the breakfast, friendly staff faces in the morning, and the gorgeous landscape around made it even better. Beautiful, modern room, and great bed. I had very good rest and pleasant stay, thank you Les Fleurettes !
Cons: The one and only issue is that it is difficult to get food in the evening - shops are all quite far away
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the beautiful flowers and garden. Also we were offered a welcome drink and nice breakfast.
Cons: No air conditioning was fine but when we opened the window to cool off, there were no screens in the windows so bugs came in all night and bit us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great booking managed at last minute, meaning I could be spontaneous. The part I stayed in was a suspended wooden chamber which looked a bit odd from the outside. However it was clean and bright inside, although a little resonant! I would have been interested to see how the other rooms (and prices) compared to mine. Lily was a very charming hostess who talked to her customers throughout the excellent breakfast. Loads of choice for breakfast. Animals are welcome and obviously loved. They are allowed in the breakfast room and were even treated to morsels from the breakfast cabinet!
Cons: Only small things. The mattress and towels were a "little tired" and there was no soap in the dispenser. A waste-basket in the bedroom would be useful. Not big problems and easily improved to give an overall excellent experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The B&B is perfectly located between Le Moint Saint Michel and Saint-Malo. The host was extremely kind and helped us in everything. The breakfast was delicious.
7.0 Good

Cons: No Tv No shower gels shampoo in the room .Middle of very hot period but no fans in bedrooms. The owners are attentive but there English like my French is not very good.

Pros: The hotel is vintage, the staff is lovely and the room confortable. It´s possible to rent bikes and it´s 5 km away from Mont St. Michel. It takes one hour walking with a incredible view of the area. There are very good restaurants but they close the kitchen at 9:00 PM.
Cons: The room doesn´t have an air conditioned equipment, just heater. So, during some days in the summer it´s very hot inside and almost impossible to stay inside. Fortunately, by the end of the day, if you leave the windows open, the wind make things better to sleep.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The surrounding area was quiet and the hotel was easy to find. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and car park were very clean throughout. There was a lot of variety at breakfast which was replenished before it ran out. The pool and pool area was very clean and a lovely space. There is a Supermarket and bowling with a restaurant only a few minutes walk away.
Cons: It is set in an industrial estate, but as we stayed over a weekend it meant the area was quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and clean. Swimming pool was great although a little too warm.
Cons: In middle of commercial estate.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool lovely and warm and open when we needed it. Hotel and grounds spotless.
Cons: Needed a chair outside for my husband to have a pipe (he's disabled)
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean hotel. Comfortable beds. The lady on reception was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: This hotel is situated in what I would describe as a small industrial estate. It is sterile and charmless. No fridge in room and eating in room not permitted. Therefore, not suited to families in my opinion. Why it has Saint Malo attached to its name is anyone’s guess as it is quite a distance from Saint Malo (30 to 40 minutes’ drive).

Pros: Amazing from the start! They made us feel like family with their cozy rooms and delicious breakfasts. The house is a renovated 500 years old structure, with gorgeous and museum-like common spaces and in the perfect farm-like environment, pretty close to a small town (and to important tourist sites and cities) but far enough to have the perfect countryside experience. Would totally recommend!
Cons: The beds could be a little bit comfier and it may bother some people that the bathrooms have curtains instead of doors.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic 500 year old house, once was a royal hunting lodge, lovingly restored by Jean Luc and Evelynne, a fascinating and very friendly older couple. The house is full of beautiful very old furniture and is like a museum of the owners travel souvenirs and other curiosities. They love a conversation and Evelynne prepared the best omelettes 2 mornings running. Not just a place to stay but a travel experience in itself.

Pros: Travelling by mororcycle, the hosts allowed me to park in their barn. Hosts were extremely helpful and courteous. Quiet countryside. The house has it's own distinctive character, typically French.
Cons: This is not a criticism but please be aware that the nearest resturants for evening meals are about 4kms away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Character French property perfect for our nights stay, made very welcome enjoyed our stay very much
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very nice and freshly prepared. There was a mountain of crepes! Good conversation with other guests, one couple were Italian the other French.
Cons: Only a curtain between the bedroom and “en suite”. No plug for the sink and individual hot and cold taps so couldn’t have a wash, because can’t obtain right temperature water, even if you didn’t mind leaving the tap running, so the only option was to have a shower all the time. Only took cash as payment which wasn’t made clear on the booking.
