10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome, attentive service and the most amazing breakfast - our best on our trip and all home produced and made and delightfully presented. The room was very stylish and attractive with a most comfortable bed and all in a lovely quiet setting.
Cons: We loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A superb experience in all respects. We were asked in advance of our stay if we wanted dinner and we are glad we accepted this - the property is in a rural location and we had already cycled far enough that day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb, total peace and quiet plus village facilities close at hand. The entire place was immaculately maintained without being manicured. Our host was so friendly and helpful, she couldn't do enough. Anyone lucky enough to stay here will not be disappointed.
Cons: Nothing whatsoever. We will surely return.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was delightful and peaceful. Our hostess was very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful as regards suggesting nearby restaurants for the evenings and providing local bus timetable information for us to visit Angers without having the stress of driving and parking. She is also very talented in the preparation of healthy home-made foods for a lovely breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. Home made compote, smoothies, confitures, brioche and bread, what more could anyone want! Also our hostess made us a delicious evening meal of galettes and crepes when she discovered the local creperie was shut for the evening. The area is so peaceful and a short distance from the beautiful River Mayenne. All in all a beautiful place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was just great, the lady of the house did all possible to give you a good feeling all day. breakfast with selfmade croissant and much more was just the best I ever had on all off the many trips I made already.
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely hosts - both were friendly as well as striking the balance perfectly of being both hands-on and letting you do your own thing. Genuinely lovely and happy people too!!! Helped me by letting me borrow a laptop as my phone stopped working -above and beyond what was expected. Beautiful decoration. Converted stables with quiet separate little buildings. Short walk from river (there is a campsite with climbing, cycling and boating activities). Spotlessly clean. Amazing breakfast - loads of thoughtful homemade/ homegrown tasty bits and pieces (also great for vegetarians). Amazing choice if teas (also option of jot chocolate and coffee). Little touches -such as chocolate and bubble bath - were lovely. Biker friendly (long gravelly drive and gravel parking, but manageable) There is a night club a taxi ride away (called C2) but I did not go there. Also bar in the restaurant in town.
Cons: More eateries purely for choice in the locality would be handy, but nothing at fault of the establishment. The crepe eatery was in fact great and a tasty option to have, so I'm being greedy to like more options :-). Maybe milk with the kettle, but if I asked I've no doubt they would have given me this.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply perfect! We received a warm welcome, complete with refreshing home made apple juice, from Catherine, who was an exceptional hostess. The location of the property is simply stunning and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms cannot be faulted. Catherine was able to recommend some excellent places to eat, and I would be happy to endorse those recommendations. Breakfast was wonderful with a selection of croisant, bread, and home made cakes and jams, fruit etc. Did I mention the apple juice? Try it, it's wonderful. Although we only stayed initially for one night, we enjoyed our stay so much we booked another night on our return journey. On our second stay the breakfast changed to include home made crepes, which were gain wonderful.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable room and a modern well equipped bathroom. Host provided a good continental breakfast.
Cons: For cycle tourists bicycles are stored outside overnight but under cover. The accommodation is in a rural location so little chance of theft but something to lock bicycles to would provide extra reassurance.

Cons: There's nothing, not to like

8.8 Excellent
Pros: A fascinating old chateau. Large room and very helpful owner.
Cons: We had dinner at the chateau one night and, while the dinner was nice and it was great not having to drive “home”, it ende up being quite expensive taking into account the price of the wine and water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Set in a beautiful location with charming and attentive hosts. Dinner, cooked and served by the hostess, was excellent and they went out of their way to help us to book our next night’s accommodation in the morning.

Pros: We loved the beautiful Chateau and its very well kept gardens. The hosts were delightful and Valerie was always available for anything we required. Breakfasts were all homemade and delicious.
Cons: Poor wifi access

Pros: Very exclusive and private as you are staying in a ancient family chateaux with lovely walked gardens, Lama’s, chickens and the owners friendly dogs (vodka). There is a fantastic walk or run alongside the river Mayenne just a few hundred yards away.
Cons: It is fairly expensive and dinner is good but simple home cooking

Pros: The assortment of animals-goats chickens llamas dogs puppies even plus Louis couldn’t have been more attentive
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is nice and clean. We came with dogs. With a big yard, they can run around. The dinner is so much fun. Starting with appetizer and talking to the owner and other guests before we are going to the dining room.
Cons: No WiFi connection.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Chateau with an outstanding service. Valerie and her staff were very professional and accommodating. I recommend the place if you are in Anjou.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Authentic castle, with an atmospheric feeling. Very warm welcome by a bunch of youngsters. Comfortable room, at least twice as big as a classic branch hotel room.
Cons: Sorry to all these nice people, but I have to say this: the “table d’hôte” didn’t live up to its expectations. I choosed this accomodation because of mentionings of the lady of the houses cooking skills, but she was not at home ☹️
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts, exceptional breakfast & dinner & beautiful location
5.0 Okay
Pros: Grounds are delightful and area is quiet and pastoral. Hosts are welcoming, pleasant and interesting. Dinner was delicous, however not on usual France hotel cuisine standard.
Cons: Room uncomfortable and extremely cold at night. Shower difficult to enter/exit and inadequate shower soap and shampoo. Breakfast very basic. No key or lock on room. Lobby under renovation and no where to sit in room or out. Was promised fresh bread that didn't arrive and not offered eggs on second day. Left after two days and returned with partner to a civilised hotel, but left the hosts a present of 170euro for not staying the third night. Worst hotel value for money I ever encountered and I do travel a lot.
