Pros: Lovely garden setting. Large Renovated period style country home.

Pros: Friendly welcome, warm comfortable room, spotlessly clean, lots of homely touches and UK tv Chanel’s was a bonus
Cons: Everything on the property was really good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a real gem of a guesthouse, we shall definitely make it a regular stop. We rented a two room apartment, which has one double and one single room, with a private shower room, and terrace seating area. The rooms were maybe a little small but the furniture and decor was of the highest standard, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had use of a well equipped kitchen, which we shared with the upstairs apartment. The terrace overlooks the garden and swimming pool, which have further seating areas available. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast on the terrace.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Large, very clean rooms, very hospitable hostess Ruth, delicious breakfast. Best value for money in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, very nice place. Swimming pool -30 degrades - all the day. Much beter than in fotos. The garden was wanderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about this little gem. Big, bright, clean rooms, even had access to a kitchen which was great as travelling with 2 children. The pool was the big hit with the kids, after coming from a busy mediterranean campsite, to have the lovely pool to ourselves and equally gorgeous gardens to relax in was just fab. The town itself is smallish, but has a number of restaurants and a lovely short walk up a step hill to a church for a excellent sunset. Ruth has done a fantastic job renovating the building (I'm just a bit jealous of her lovely home!)
Cons: nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host, very well presented and furnished property. Easy village to reach, lots to see nearby. Have already decided to return. And there was a covered swimming pool to use!
Cons: Nothing to dislike. For a small village it offered shops and eateries that were variable but ok considering how small the actual village is.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Château de Jonquières has remained in the same family for 700 years - which is truly remarkable. It’s setting, at the edge of the small village of Jonquières, is beautiful with its own vineyard and park-like gardens surrounding the Château. It is well situated for visiting neighbouring towns of interest including St-Guilhem-Le-Désert, which is a must. The surrounding countryside is full of vineyards and very picturesque. Our room was large, elegant and comfortable with the bonus of a modern bathroom. Isabelle, the owner, was delightful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. I had a few days of ill health during our stay and Isabelle went out of her way with offering remedies and kindly making a doctor’s appointment for me. Isabelle has led a very interesting life and we enjoyed chatting to her. We had a lovely stay at Château de Jonquières. Thank you!

Cons: Unfortunately we had bad weather, so couldn't take advantage of the pool.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were really welcoming and attentive. Villa Escandorgue is as good as the pictures, the pool even better. View from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast was excellent too. Parking undercover, we arrived in rain, was welcome. It is easy to find from the motorway, and Lodève itself is a very typical attractive small french town. We had a good meal at entre-terre-et-mer@restaurant-lodeve.fr (booked by our host).
Cons: The driveway is quite steep, but manageable. The air conditioning is noisy (the host apologised for this), but we didn’t need it at night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Got a great welcome from Marc & Philipe. Helped us to book a v nice restaurant. Had a delicious breakfast sitting on the balcony with great view of the mountains and forest. Marc planned a spectacular route through the mountains to Millau bridge for us which we did on motorbike , while allowing us to leave our van at the property on the day of our departure.
Cons: Had a little difficulty parking due to incline leading to the property but Marc & Philipe assisted us v well.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was the best among 8 hotels we stayed in France. It is a private home. The lady of the house was extremely helpful. Spoke good English. The house is actually a 12th century reconstructed home. The owner cooked special bread for us for breakfast and gave us recommendations for site-seeing that were very good. It was a very pleasant stay for a family of 4.
Cons: The village the hotel is located in is very small and there is not much to see, but the experience staying in a 12th century private home was great.

Pros: Unbelievably beautiful setting in the mountains. Perfect Cabin with very comfortable bed and great shower. Very quiet only the sound of birds and sheep bells in the distance. Walking distance to 2 medieval villages.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Le Pre De Marius. Beautifully renovated property with everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing stay. The host was so friendly and helpful and made it feel like home. We loved the breakfast - delicious granola and home made jams and yoghurt. Beautiful bread and delicious cheese (we took the label so we could find some to take home as it was so yum). Our stay couldn't have been more perfect and we hope to return again soon. Many Thanks and Best Wishes.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, just wow. Le Pre de Marius is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of France. Between the hills, the old farmhouse with a beautiful nature swimming pool has been restored with great taste and with respect to the original look and feel. On the inside, the rooms are very modern, well equiped and nicely decorated. The owners live in the bigger house attached to the rooms, and are always available to help out if neccesary. We have enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely recommend Le Pre de Marius to everyone.
Cons: Nothing we can think of...

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nearby walks...very nice room.
Cons: The only restaurant nearby has only very small menu
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The nature is beautiful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: L`Ammonite is a very interesting B&B in the very little village of Navacelle, which have only 13 people living there. The little cluster of houses built in beautiful stonework is like another world. We had a big family room, very nice with a huge bathroom and great views out the small windows. They also have the only little place in town to get lunch and dinner, which was good, down to earth food at a very decent price. If you "survive" the scary, narrow drive down to Navacelle, you will enjoy the experience.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was exquisite. The hosts were wonderful and provide us with a delicious dinner even though we omitted to let them not that we will require dinner( due to using expedia app the message was not received by us). The place is unique and provides a fresh look.
Cons: The only negative I can say is that the upstairs bathroom can be inconvenient but it wasn't for us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Owners were utterly charming, and location was unbelievable.
Cons: Dinner menu was limited.
5.8 Okay
Pros: We were walking on the Chemin de Saint-Guilhem-le Desert and it was a convenient place for us to stay the night. It was a very picturesque building.
Cons: We had a very inhospitable welcome and the evening meal was a disgrace. Hardly what one might give to 2 hikers after a very strenuous descent into Navacelles. The couple had a 3 week old baby which made us somewhat sympathetic, but it was hardly the standard of a Chambre d’Hôtes.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, comfortable bed. We enjoyed staying here for a night
Cons: Very simple breakfast, not much choice if you don't eat bread and jam. Dinner was tasty but felt it was a bit overpriced for what you got. Location often dictates what you pay, and this was remote with no other options for dinner.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent welcome and attentiveness during our stay

Pros: Fabulous in every way
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful serene location in the middle of the superb Languedoc vin yards around Aniane and just 5m from Cignac. B&B is managed by Beatrice who has an eye of great detail; in terms of atmosphere, design and hospitality. We had a very enjoyable dinner (table d'hotes) with her and some other quests from Luxembourg and were lucky to drink the wines of Beatrice's own domaine Salente, most notably the beautiful 2011 red cuvee. Limited number of small rooms, nicely modernly decorated home and a swimmingpool with a spectacular view on the Languedoc valley. We will definitely come back at this place Thank you Beatrice
Cons: Small rooms, hard beds
7.5 Good
Pros: Amazing area, beautiful scenery, great house, great breakfast.
Cons: Arrived 3 hours late, 3 pm, woman at house quite rude! One person arrived with all our luggage to drop off, the rest of us were at a wedding close by. Communication problems! Rooms at top of stairs the door opens to the left occluding the access to one of the bedrooms, so had 4 adults in a family room( one bedroom had no door) seemed a bit strange but it was 2 am. Next morning queried this and shown 4th room, totally unused, as we didn't know it was there! No compromise, woman's English seemed to disappear! Quite rude again! So we paid for the 4 rooms!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionel place with wonderful surroundings. Would recommend it anytime.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable, cleans an beatiful place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and great host, fabulous views. Very comfortable room and bed. Very friendly dog who came for a walk with us. Relatively easy. to find and close to to main road, but not load enough to drown out the frogs!
Cons: If no a la carte on offer, is a bit of a drive to find somewhere to eat, but we made ourselves an excellent picnic and watched the sun go down over the vineyard

Pros: The hosts were friendly and our room a good size. Nice location next to an excellent winery.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the extractor fan did not work. The bedroom was very warm and although there was an air conditioner, it was very noisy and not at all efficient. The restaurant across the street was closed on the two nights we were staying (Mondays and Tuesdays), but although we understood it was possible to order a meal at the hotel we were told they were to busy so had to travel to another village 15 mins drive away to find a restaurant.

Pros: Availability of excellent meals in their onsite restaurant. Friendly hosts. Property surrounded by mountains and river nearby.
Cons: Difficult access to car parking through an electric gate located on a bend in the road.

7.0 Good
Pros: Didn’t stay long but as an apartment it appeared to be well furnished for self catering and everything in the kitchen and bathroom worked well. The building is in a charming street and town. There is also an excellent restaurant a few metres down the street.
Cons: Although a parking permit for one of the public parking spaces comes with the property, the parking process is anything but straightforward.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room, the location
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Non-smoking policy also including the balcony is in my view impolite and excessive. OK, it stinks, but other people can annoy you in so many other ways, too. What happened to tolerance?
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, caring and helpful hostess Martine, lovely premises with a pool and areas for guests to relax. Very nice all round.
Cons: It is 1.1 kms from town - for anyone walking the Arles Camino this might be important, but not an issue for anyone else.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay of five nights in a superior room. This was a simple yet comfortable, well thought-out room. The large bed was very comfortable - it may look thin in the photos - but we suspect it was latex as we slept very well on it. The kitchen is basic, but has everything you need for simple cooking - two gas burners and some saucepans. The bathroom was high quality and modern, and the separate toilet in the superior room was a bonus. The owners were very friendly and helpful, including providing two fans during an extreme heatwave, although the room never become extremely hot. A trolley was available for transporting luggage. St-Guilhem is a very picturesque little village and a good base for exploring the region.
Cons: Given the town that St-Guilhem is, you need to park at a distance and then bring in your luggage through narrow, cobbled streets. That's just the nature of the town. Make sure you use the car park close to the river, and then follow the excellent directions provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This apartment provided everything we needed for our short stay. The space was bigger than expected and of a high standard. The bed was very comfortable too! The location was excellent and we’d certainly recommend this place
Cons: The breakfast was €14 but you don’t get very much. There were lots of cookies but not exactly what we wanted for breakfast! Despite advertising no shops or bakery there are actually places to go and buy pastries and bread...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super cute! The location, free parking and super easy check-in were an absolute bonus!
Cons: Only 1 coffee per person and not the pods for the coffee machine they had plus no milk. Although a very informative check-in it would have been even better if the address for the car parking locations were provided for GPS navigation.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and the location. The decoration and facilities.
Cons: no personal contact with the owner.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts, nice little apartment right in the middle of the village, equipped with everything you need. I would come again without any doubt
Cons: Nothing

Cons: No sturdy handhold rail in bath/shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing peaceful location in a beautiful old chateau, I really felt like I had gone back in time and came away so relaxed. The breakfast and evening meals really delicious and the staff so welcoming, they made it feel as if you were being welcomed into a home rather than a hotel. The kids loved the pool (as did we!) and really enjoyed exploring the grounds and the village. We will definitely return.
Cons: Nothing, just slightly disappointed the chef wasn't available the first few days for evening meals which we weren't expecting although we were able to bring our own food in and there were restaurants available locally.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Yannick is an incredible host; facility very well restored to original specifications
