Pros: Bert and Bruno were excellent hosts. They made us feel at home and provided lots of information on the surrounding area. There is so much to see we would love to return in the future.
Pros: The beautiful property, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast (including fresh pastries and homemade jam), and the great location with lots to explore in the area. There's also a nice outdoor area with a pool, which would be fantastic in the summer. The owners, Bert and Bernie, are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome.
Cons: The only (slight) drawback was the lack of a restaurant in easy walking distance, however there's several options within a 5 minute drive.
Pros: Bert & Bruno are very generous hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing as possible and stress free. They are very helpful in providing tips for vising local places of interest

Pros: We had a very lovely time at Maison de Matisse. Bert und Bruno were very kind and lovely, and made us feel at home during our whole stay. They have an impeccable taste in design and decoration; every room has a special atmosphere and they have a great attention to detail in the design. It’s like a little paradise in the middle of Saint Nazaire d’Aude. On top of this, Bert is an excellent cook, who made us a three course dinner. It was very delicious! (Also: you have the try the home made jam in the morning. It is a dream!) The pool, which is right next to the fig trees in the garden, was great to cool off after the end of a hot day. This was actually our second time at Maison de Matisse and we will definitely come back when we return to the South of France.
Pros: This was a beautifully located old vineyard farmhouse. Owned by a lovely friendly couple. If you can speak a little French it would help. Spotlessly clean and a fantastic view from the room over the vineyard at the rear. All located in a quiet, quaint typically French village. Breakfast was a fresh typical continental buffet and the food was all freshly prepared and beautifully laid out. A lovely place, lovely location, lovely people. We would definitely go again.
Pros: Breakfast very good Rooms good. Owner even transported us to a Restaurant for a meal as we where traveling with Bikes.
Pros: Staff. Theis dedication was amazing. They helped us with all the issued we found
Cons: A bit noisy
Pros: The staff Mr Michel and Ms Katrina very nice and lovely. Verl human and good person.

Pros: Gorgeous location, friendly owners, stunning breakfasts with lots of homemade jams and cake. Great location to explore from. Beach only 30 mins away as well. Lots of good local restaurants.
Cons: As it was so hot when we visited an extra fan in the room, or air conditioning, would have been good.
Pros: The host was extremely friendly and spoke excellent English. She recommended a lovely restaurant nearby. Breakfast was excellent and included a home made apple tart with lovely flakey pastry. The room was very large with a separate ensuite with full sized bath.
Cons: The climb up four flights of stairs with heavy cases. The Wi-Fi did not work in the bedroom, only at the top of the stairs.
Pros: Charming setting and hosts with interest decor and lovely breakfasts
