5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was nice and spacious and the pool clean.
Cons: -no extra towels - the room is only changed once per 6 (!) days - the breakfast was austere, while we do pay € 120 for a night. - exceptionally early check-out time, which we were not informed of when checking in. Checked out an hour late - A big mouth from the owner when we checked out late (at 11 am!). - no clear explanation upon receipt.

Pros: Beautiful accommodation and wonderful staff. We’re made to feel very welcome and our stay exceeded expectations
Cons: We loved everything we felt it would be nice to be able to get dinner Here as there aren’t many places around and maybe some fruit for breakfast or other options available
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The decor in the hotel and the ambience is first class. There is attention to detail in every corner of the house and garden. Plus they have a swimming pool. The breakfast is a fabulous combination of home produce and local artisan food. A top class place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building very quaint loads of space, the rooms were generous and airy and the kitchen facilities more than enough.
Cons: Would have liked to have more outside space (but we knew that before we booked) attached to the room. The bed was far too hard for us.

Pros: Liliane was an excellent host. She opened her home to us and we felt very relaxed at La Vie en Rose. Breakfast in the garden , under the spreading mulberry tree overlooking the vineyards was an excellent start to every day. We spent ten days there exploring the the delights of Haute Languedoc. Highly recommended.
Cons: No complaints.

Cons: Nothing negative to say.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host who helped with the washing of our cycling clothes. Great breakfast and nice setting. Rocquebrun is a great location for a summer holiday!
Cons: Room to the roadside too stuffy and hot during the night as unable to open window due to regular car noise during the night.

Pros: Garden overlooking vines, Lillaine was so friendly. Use of refrigerator and honesty bar nice touches!
Cons: Very hot even on ground floor (record temperatures outside) , wished for aircon!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and welcoming. The owner was very nice and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Having breakfast outside on the patio with the vineyard behind us was like being in a small French Villa.
Cons: It was a little out of the way to find the town which is very small.

Pros: Delphine and Richard were very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and they were great with the kids.
Cons: We loved it
5.4 Okay
Pros: Interesting building - old convent with lots of nice stone features. We stayed in the family room which was spacious but only with average comfort. It was warm and had air conditioning, a sweet view with the fountain in the middle of the square. I have to say that the comfort of the beds and the quality of bedding wasn't great unfortunately. The owners are extremely welcoming and speak good English. They were happy to suggest local restaurants and places of interest. We went to Le P'tit Resto in the village https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-d12864923?m=19905 recommended by our hosts and had a fabulous meal with wine - serving true French cooking the owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at La Maison D'hotes was served between 8-10am and consisted of home made bread, home made jams and cereal, yogurt and fruit along with tea or coffee. The village isn't really worth visiting, it's quite run down in general.

B&b Chez Sven - Causses-et-Veyran - Building
5
8.7 Excellent (133 reviews)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This spot is a real treasure! Wonderful and friendly host, located in a small, typically French town, in an traditional town house. It has real charm, the room we had was really big and beautiful. The back overlooks a big terrace where all the guests mingle; wonderful atmosphere. The pool is big and very nicely placed, very quiet. We slept great and enjoyed the lovely breakfast. Definitely coming back and can recommend, also with kids!
Cons: The only thing that was slightly disappointing is that our room did not have airconditioning, but it was located in an airconditioned area and a fan was provided, so it was not a big problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The reception by the two Scandinavian women was terrific. Very nice! Beautiful big rooms.
Cons: No airco in the rooms. They do have fans though
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else! I was treated like a family guest as opposed to just a customer. I was invited to dinner which was a unique experience with encouragement to speak and socialise with other guests and our host, Astrid - I won't forget it. And that pool after a long day in the sun, divine! Thank you Astrid!
Cons: I was just passing through, so it wasn't a big issue - but if you're from a city like I am, know it's a little village, so you have to be comfortable with the fact that there is not much to do or see in the immediate locale - there is one bar/restaurant in the village.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was an old wine producers house renovated and turned into a bed and breakfast. The place was very well kept and had lots of charm and personality. The ladies who ran the place provided a tasty breakfast out in the garden. There is a pool and enough space to rest out in the garden of one wishes so. Surrounded by vineyards and close to some cute villages to visit in the mountains.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I loved the house. ok it was a bit dusty but who cares? the rooms were huge and the ceilings so high.... the bed was fab really comfy and lovely clean and ironed sheets etc. Also lovely good quality towels Great that we could go down and get a coffee to take back to the room before breakfast. Then a great help-your-self breakfast in their outdoor kitchen - loved it. We loved the calm of the garden and the bird song We loved the first evening meal we had there with a group of english-speaking swedes/Norwegians - such a 'gift' - superbe food and stimulating and funny conversation. I went to bed feeling really calm and happy and safe. The next eve they allowed me to cook the dinner for us four - I was so thrilled and it gave them a break I think Anyway - could go-on forever so must stop!
Cons: It was a little strange to find the shower and loo IN THE BEDROOM. sheltered by a screen . We found it amusing and it did not bother us but had I gone with a friend I might have found it a bit difficult!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were at ChezSven for 3 days and could have stayed for another week! Beautiful old house with fantastic garden incl swimmingpool, and good location to go to beach (30 minutes) or mountains (15 minutes. The superkind Svedish host Astrid and here friends Agneta and Johannes made us feel very welcome. Good breakfast and dinner was prepared for all the guests in the garden. We also had the opportunity to make our own lunch in the outdore kitchen. In short a very relaxing stay and worthwhile coming back!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic energy and atmosphere because of house and staff that creates everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place has got to be nicest little B&B in all of France! You can not find a kinder host than Astrid, the rooms are huge, the house is like an old chateau but everything works fine and the whole place has a wonderful charm!!! We would love to come back and we strongly recommend it to all and everyone

Pros: The hosts were charming, breakfast was wonderful and the house is magnificent. Right in the middle of the village so location is perfect. Breakfast in the garden with the hosts was a delight. Wonderful choices of food and a spectacular setting. We didn’t have time to use it but the large pool is a real find in a central village location. Highly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very friendly. The house and garden were beautiful. The breakfast was copious and delicious, and worth paying extra. The village is very well placed for exploring the region.
Cons: Our room was on the ground floor, and although it was very nice, there would have been no privacy if we hadn't kept the shutters in the bedroom and bathroom shut most of the time, as the room gave out onto the terrace and swimming pool, and this made the room very dark. We thought that the installation of wooden Venetian blinds would work well. Also, there was no shower gel in the room. We took a flight with no checked-in luggage, with a very limited allowance for the transport of liquids, so were not able to bring our own shower gel, and we ended up buying shower gel in the shop next door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful relaxing stay, The accommodation was extremely nice, the bed so comfortable, however, the best part of our visit was sitting in the amazing garden having a lovely glass of wine. Wonderful hosts, but also the information shared and the surroundings were extremely interesting. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit again very soon.
Cons: Nothing...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality from Therese and Ronald. We were late to arrive on bicycle and the nearby restaurant had already closed but Ronald kindly drove us to the nearest restaurant and came to collect us. Fantastic hosts. Would highly recommend.
