Pros: The room we had was a small independent room on its own at the gable end of the house with it's own tv, fridge, toilet and shower room plus your host brings your breakfast up to you in the morning. It has a steep outdoor staircase leading to it .... not to good if you're not to handy on the old legs.It was raining on the morning we left and i actually slipped on my backside on the third step from the bottom while taking our case's down the stairs. Be careful
Cons: Nothing really . Maybe at most, the time of booking in. But if your touring then just take your time getting there
Pros: The location is ideal for us as it’s just off the avenue better and we’ve always got out bikes The Studio is our favourite room as it has a terrace and easy access to the path and garden The garden is a beautiful zen Japanese style with peaceful spots for meditation.
Cons: The breakfast could include cheese and some charcuterie to make it s little less all about bread and Jan.
Cons: Room (attic) very hot when arrived. Perhaps window could have been opened in advance
Pros: Nice Place, all was good. Thank you!
Pros: Staff brilliant. Cosy room. Lovely to be able to sit out on terrace and have ones breakfast!
Pros: Carol the host was VERY welcoming. Croissants and bread for breakfast fresh and delicious as was the home made jam. Beds comfy. Village setting and lovely garden. Very handy for the port without staying in the town.
Cons: Limited restaurants nearby but to be expected as village setting.
Pros: Friendly owner, very comfortable accommodation with self catering facilities, great location, beautiful setting, car parking on site
Cons: The only slight downside was the limited 2 hour window to check-in between 17:00 - 19:00. Having said that, we contacted the owner who agreed to meet us an hour earlier
Pros: Just everything
Pros: Everything. What a gem this place is. Loved it. Warm, comfortable and friendly. Beautiful garden.
Cons: Only cycling up the hill on the way out of town!
Pros: The hosts are very welcoming can’t do enough for you would recommend to all for a lovely stay we will be back next year

Pros: Hostess very friendly and helpful. Room lovely spacious and clean. Breakfast delicious. Location great for travelling around. Local restaurants superb.
Cons: Plain sheets in our room would look a lot better.
Pros: Fantastic Sequoia Tree in the garden. Family castle with interesting history.
Pros: Dominique was a very gracious host. She was very informative about the history of the house and the region. The room was bright and inviting. Very pleasant.
Pros: Brilliant room in beautiful building! Serene and picturesque surroundings near to Avenue Vert and very lovely hospitable friendly staff.
Pros: Lovely mansion with a beautiful garden
Pros: Just a few metres from the Avenue Verte cycle track and just 10 kms out of Dieppe Perfect location. Super sized room and modern shower room. Such stately grandeur of a real Chateau Really good breakfast and secure bike storage
Cons: A pity there are no restaurants in walking distance and no availability of an evening meal. The email telling us this was sent just 24 hrs before our arrival-I had not seen it -we were cycling back from Paris and we had to make an extra journey out to get some food for the evening
Pros: This beautiful château is located in the beautiful village of St Aubin le Cauf in a beautiful remote domaine 15 min drive from Dieppe. We had a very relaxing time, enjoying the beautiful garden of the premises in the afternoons. The beds were very comfortable and the room and the bathroom were squeaky clean.
Cons: -We would have liked to have more information on the history of the building. -It would be nice if one could check-in earlier as still had to check out at 11:00. We found that 17:00 was a bit late for check in. -The property could offer bike rentals as there are plenty of things to see around.
Pros: Excellent service! We had the castle for ourselves during two nights....kitchen available for simple dinner. Very very nice host, Good breakfast. We asked for a twin room in the Booking.com reservation but at first we got a double one. Next day were got the twin one.
Cons: Wifi connection in the room
Pros: Our host was most helpful and booked a restaurant table for us even though we were late. The room was comfortable and the breakfast most enjoyable. Useful other facilities.
Cons: Other guests arriving late .
Located in Arques-la-Bataille, Chambres d'Hôtes Arques en Ciel is within a 5-minute drive of Hippodrome de Dieppe and Euro Dieppe Karting. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: very peaceful area, once the HQ of William the Conqueror
Pros: The building was in a pleasant and quiet suburb and handy for commerces and for exploring the area. The proprietor was helpful and friendly.
Cons: Our studio was up two steep flights of stairs and the bed was not too comfortable. The wi-fi was very slow and only useful for e-mails.
Pros: Amazing little stop en route to Paris.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely accommodation and nice ambience.
Pros: late ferry but excellent service from owners who stayed up late to accomodate our arrival.
Pros: The room was very clean, a large shower and a very nice house. The owner let us to park the bycicles inside the garage. Very nice breakfast! If you are cycling along the Avenue Verte is a perfect stop on your way to the ferry (30 minutes biking from Dieppe).
Pros: Great location for Dieppe port, off-road parking, really nice pizza/pasta restaurant close by, friendly owner.
Pros: Great location for the ferry crossing port. Comfortable, clean room and a good breakfast.
Cons: Although we knew it was a shared bathroom we would have liked a sink in the bedroom for the convenience of cleaning teeth, washing face etc. and for water for the kettle.
Pros: Not much to like really
Cons: Shared toilet stank of stale urine. Bed had two dents in mattress form many other people and was horrible and was smelly through the sheets. Thin pillows. Room had no carpet or proper table, very basic cheap furniture. Towels thin and threadbare. Owners needs to get new bed/mattress and clean bathroom and toilets thoroughly. Breakfast - no decaf coffee so we had to pride our own. Croissants of poor quality. Kettle in bedroom but no milk and little choice of tea or coffee.
Pros: Great B&B in Arques la Bataille, very nice village close to Dieppe. Good starting point to explore the area. Great hosts, the house is well cared and charming, shared bathroom super clean, comfy bed. All you need for a weekend. Home make croissants in the morning :) Highly recommended!!!
Cons: nothing - all met our expectations. Rainy weekend (you ll be warned) so we could not enjoy the nice garden!!
Located in Arques-la-Bataille, this apartment is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Hippodrome de Dieppe and Saint-Nicolas d'Aliermont Clock Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The beautiful gardens and general ambiance. We loved our terrace . Dog friendly .
Pros: Very quaint 16th XV property - but very modern shower room and large, high ceiling bedroom. Spotless. Bridget & Thierry very welcoming. Stayed 3 nights, ate here 1st night, meal very good but limited if staying several nights and dont want to travel. Lovely gardens, flower/fruit etc and pity inclement weather didnt allow more time to enjoy - maybe next time.
Cons: Absolutly nothing
Pros: The ambiance was perfect
Pros: This hotel has so much character and a very special authentic atmosphere. It feels really like staying in a castle! The room was very spacious and very clean. The garden with flowers is beautiful and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and also breakfast was perfect. Highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing, it was just perfect
Pros: Breakfast was "good standard continental" with not much choice and as such possibly a bit overpriced. The property was properly historic and maintained that charm beautifully. Enhanced by a good on-site restaurant for dinner with good food at standard prices. Lovely garden and grounds to wander in.
Cons: The bed could have been a bit more comfortable.
Pros: Bed extra comfy , very tasty french cuisine served served in a beautiful restaurant
Pros: The owners were very welcoming and proud of their beautiful property. The accommodation was bigger than expected clean and comfortable. We loved the restaurant which was also just beautiful with a log fire. The evening meal was superb as was breakfast. The grounds were also lovely.
Cons: The Auberge is in a very old building with some atmosphere but a little austere. Rooms are some distance from the parking facility and moving heavy luggage can be a problem especially if the stairs have to be negotiated. The staff are not professionals and service at dinner is slow and haphazard - there was only one person dealing with over 20 people in the restaurant. On checking out we were presented with a bill that included many items we had not ordered - different menus, different drinks etc. To make it all even worse we later received a message from the management accusing us of having removed/stolen a cushion from our room....! This was eventually followed by another saying the cushion in question had been placed in the room next door..! Very, very unprofessional behaviour and an establishment to avoid in the future. Pros: Simple, clean, basic and very charming.
With a stay at Chambres d'Hôtes les Champarts in Petit-Caux, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Alabaster Coast and Saint-Nicolas d'Aliermont Clock Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was a typical French style property although it was off the beaten track, the views were beautiful. There was a joint tv room and facilities to make t and coffee. Our room had a toilet and shower room.
Cons: The bed seemed small and the room basic. But was clean and the couple were very welcoming and polite. They stopped up to see us in due to a late ferry.
Pros: Beautiful surroundings. Extra clean. Very comfortable beds. Lovely fresh breakfast with home made preserves. Super friendly & helpful with our very late arrival.
Pros: Very quiet rural woodland location, convenient for the Dieppe ferry (20 mins away). We booked all four bedrooms and there was also an additional small kitchenette and sitting area. The rooms and bathrooms were all exceptionally clean with plenty of towels and thoughtful attention to detail, providing everything we needed. Dorothee and her family were very welcoming and the breakfast was lovely - croissants, bread, yoghurt, pureed apple and delicious home made jams with coffee, darjeeling tea, hot chocolate and orange juice. Perfect for a peaceful overnight stop. Loved the sound of the owls at night!
Cons: It was quite hard to find. Would have felt quite intimate if we had shared the space with other guests but maybe they only let to one group at a time.
Pros: The Lady running the premises was a perfect host although in the countryside it was easy to find and very quiet, the breakfast with homemade jams was perfect
Pros: The location was great, it was a real 'in the middle of nowhere' experience, especially if you arrive after sunset. Breakfast was in a classical French style decorated room with a beautiful view of woods.
Cons: There was a heavy smell in the entrance of the house which you don't smell in the rooms. The check-out was at 11, but the lady already started asking for the keys at about 10 and we were rushed out of the property which was not pleasant.
Pros: Quiet location and excellent breakfast
Cons: All fine but just to be aware that rooms are in a loft conversion with very little sound insulation, which meant other guests could be heard especially when using shared facilities at night.
Pros: Excellent, peaceful location. Room very comfortable and clean. Very amenable host who provided us with an excellent breakfast.
Pros: Very welcoming host and she guided us to a remarkably good restaurant about 10 mins drive away from the property.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking in all area's except the coffee...more variety/choice is needed,
Pros: Charming place, wonderful design, we felt in the house - placed in the middle of the nature - like in a fairytale.

The Base de Loisirs de la Varenne is 3 km away and offers outdoor activities such as windsurfing, kayaking and rock climbing. A fitness centre is available and bicycle rental is possible at an extra charge.
Pros: The location to Dieppe. Nice little town.
Cons: Overpriced. It felt like you were staying in someone's home instead of a B&B. You can't lock your room. We were in the attic suite. Breakfast - lack of choice with no buffet. Pancakes and cakes served each day. You have to eat what's put in front of you.
Pros: Our host Sophie was excellent from the outset. So friendly and helpful and laid on a wonderful breakfast. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom superb.
Pros: We enjoyed the beautiful house and garden, and the welcoming owner, and the trouble she takes to produce home-made continental breakfasts ( we had 4) with fresh pancakes, cakes, and jams, and delicious evening meals (we had one on our first and our final nights. We shared her taste in classical music ! Her two cats were very friendly........ and one would have loved to sleep in our room ! We decided not to share it, however! Our hostess gave us some good tips and recommendations re local sights and gardens, and Dieppe restaurants. The historic house is set in a beautiful square of likewise historic and lovely houses, below the huge castle ruins, which you can walk around but not enter as it is being restored. The local countryside features beautiful valleys in the chalk hills inland of Dieppe, with countless picturesque villages, and only 10 minutes from Dieppe, and the coast which has a series of seaside villages and chalk cliffs, stretching both East and West from Dieppe itself. sandy and pebble beaches, and lots of local seafood in the restaurants!
Cons: Our large and elegant room had a delightful en suite bathroom, with super bath, and big shower, but the toilet itself was not en suite, but across the landing. The bedroom was fresh and spotless, but there was a slight odour of cats about the hallway, and the stairway would benefit from redecoration.
Pros: Sophie is a wonderful hostess. She went out of her way to make our trip to Arques-la-Bataille special and perfect. Our room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was delicious and artistically prepared.
Pros: good breakfast.
Cons: no complete toiletroom. No chair at the bedroom. The price quality is bad.
A stay at Le Prélude places you in the heart of Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont, a 1-minute drive from Saint-Nicolas d'Aliermont Clock Museum and 11 minutes from Hippodrome de Dieppe. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hosts were friendly however when we got into the hotel all we could smell was pork fat which was not nice at all. The mattress was uncomfortable so we did not sleep good. The owner asked us when we arrived if we wanted breakfast as he needs to prepare it. Well it was a stale crossiant, baguette, butter, jam, coffee and orange out of a carton. What did he have to prepare? It's a shame really as he could do so much with the place however the owners do not seem to have the heart?
Pros: Good, simple and ideal for an overnight. Newly decorated room (11), comfortable bed, compact but entirely usable spaces. Small but perfect! Supermarket next door and boulangeries nearby, parking at rear. Though room small everything worked in space. Would happily stay again.
Cons: No tea / coffee making facility in room - but only noticed when home booking said there was. Would have been nice as bar was closed even at 10pm on a Friday in holiday season. Supermarket was open until 10pm however. Otherwise nothing to dislike - especially based on the price.
Pros: Located in the centre of town with ample free parking available. An absolute bargain of a hotel stay. Clean, comfortable double bedroom with sparkling ensuite. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we checked in at 2300 by calling when we arrived. We were met by one of the staff who let us in a few minutes later. The hotel is basic, but more than adequate for our needs during our trip. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room had small TV, double bed, free WiFi (which was a little slow but better than no wifi!) and a small wardrobe area with hangers provided. Couldn't fault this hotel, especially considering how little we paid. I would absolutely stay here again if travelling through the Dieppe area. It is a 15 mins drive from the DFDS ferry terminal.
Pros: A wonderful small hotel off the beaten track. If you want to escape the mini tourists in France stay here. It’s very old-school in a tiny small adorable little town. Very close to beautiful hiking trails and beaches. A short drive to the cliffs and to Dieppe. Much better than my Airbnb. Very clean very friendly very charming place.
Cons: I thought the whole place was wonderful if you want to be away from Torres and off the beaten track.
Pros: There was a last minute problem with our room so booking.com contacted us to ask if we would like to change our accommodation. As we had just arrived off the ferry we decided to use Le Prelude anyway and the room we were given was very basic with a shower and sink and we used the restaurant toilet facilities 2 floors below. The owner gave us a complimentary free breakfast for our inconvenience. The hotel was spotless and the owners very polite and helpful. We would stay there again as the other rooms we saw the next day were a lot more comfortable.
Pros: The room and bedding were clean, the owner was friendly and accommodating with our late night arrival
Cons: The en suite had a curtain in place of a door, a kettle and couple of cups would be useful
Pros: Very handy for Dieppe ferry
Cons: Small room tired mattress.
Pros: Clean room and bathroom
Cons: No local facilities we stayed on a Monday and everything was closed
Pros: Nice location.
Cons: The bed is to small for two people! No available Wi-Fi!
Pros: Not much
Cons: The place looked closed down. Not a bar or restaurant open near by
