Located in Plessé, TY Canal Dor is within a 15-minute drive of Espace Quilly and Forest Gavre. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location was perfect, beside the canal and everything about the property was perfect. Beautifully and appointed, with practical thoughtful touches for the weary traveller. Comfortable beds and tea making facilities.
Pros: We arrived on a tandem bicycle after a downpour had turned the canal towpath into a mudbath, so our pannier bags were very dirty. Our hosts helped clean up the mess with a hosepipe. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: No restaurants open on the day we arrived (Monday). The village ought to try and have at least one establishment open. Fortunately we had brought food with us from Redon.
Pros: The owner was very helpfull, room spacious, quiet location, good breakfast
Pros: Friendly helpful welcome. Excellant smart rooms and wonderful breakfast. Cafe bar nearby.
Pros: A brilliant location next to the village and canal. Great for walking and cycling, or just relaxing outside.
Pros: The room and en-suite were lovely - very luxurious feeling. The location close to the canal is very convenient for cyclists
Cons: There were no restaurants or cafes open in the nearby town on the evening that we arrived so we were unable to buy anything for dinner. After cycling 200km were really looking forward to some food!

Cons: Having to leave
Pros: Loved the room and the safe storage for my bike. The breakfast was fantastic.
Pros: Close to the canal and secure indoor storage for our bicycles
Pros: A delightful accommodation with charming hosts. A very tasty homemade breakfast. The house and the gardens were lovely - arty, interesting and quirky and quintessentially French. The kids enjoyed seeing the pumpkin patch and the chickens. We really enjoyed our stay here. We were offered a safe place for our bikes and took a bike ride along the canal to the fabulous local Creperie. Highly recommended.
Pros: Immaculate accommodation beautifully presented by Dominique who obviously puts enormous energy & enthusiasm into sharing her home with guests. The house & garden are a joy, and the home-made produce at the breakfast table looked & tasted fantastic. Their welcome even extended to providing bike racks in their secure garage. We were sorry to leave!
Pros: Breakfast was good, but some fruit would have been nice to add to the choice. Hosts were great and even booked us a meal in the local restaurant to ensure we had an evening meal.
Cons: Nothing, was a very friendly and lovely stay.
Pros: Lovely friendly owners/hosts. Feeding the goats! Enjoying first camping experience. It's a bit of a cross between camping and glamping so if you enjoy that sort of thing then you will enjoy this place. We slept in the African hut.
Cons: Hard to criticise because we aren't really campers.
Pros: Well designed and comfy tree house. Plenty of space inside for family of five and lots of room outside to sit and eat and play games. Very friendly owner. Great fun. Cute train giving rides to the children. We loved it!
Cons: Kitchen facilities very basic but didn’t affect us too much
Pros: Totally delightful. A great place for families with young children.
Pros: Nice breakfast. Space. Pleasure and the deers.
Cons: Not much.
Pros: A real tree house - how unique is that! Kids loved it and talk about it still.
Cons: I felt it was a bit expensive given how out of the way it is.
Pros: Amazing adventure for the children. We had a family room which was a large tree house, outside toilet and communal shower.
Pros: Everything from the hostess the room. Other guests. Fantastic.
