Featuring free WiFi and an outdoor pool, Le Clos des Palmiers is an authentic, 18th-century Charentaise property set in Saint-ouen-d’Aunis, a small village located 10 minutes’ drive from La Rochelle and the beach. Free private parking is available on site. The spacious bedrooms have a flat-screen TV, a private wet room and toilet, as well as a hairdryer. Enjoy a cup of tea on your terrace while looking out at the pool or garden. In the morning, a hearty breakfast is served, including homemade jams and cakes. Guests can also use a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. Niort is 45 km from Le Clos des Palmiers, while Rochefort is 20 minutes’ drive away. La Rochelle - Ile de Re Airport is 13 km from the property.
Pros: Le Clos des Plamiers is a charming property in close proximity to the historic city of La Rochelle. The garden that surrounds the property is lovely, large but also quiet. It is very inviting as is the swimming pool. What makes this property exceptional are its hosts, Evelyne and Remy. They happily provided information about the area, including favourite restaurants and attractions. They introduced us to local specialties at breakfast along with Evelyne's homemade delicacies. But most of all, Evelyne and Remy made us feel entirely at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories, experiences and laughter. Merci pour cet accueil si chaleureux!
Pros: It’s a fantastic setting, the owners are superkind (supersympa in French), they treat you like a king and give lots of invaluable advice about sightseeing
Cons: Nothing, just perfect
Pros: Excellent hosts. Breakfast very nice. Nothing too much trouble. Very clean and welcoming
Cons: A little remote But very safe.
Pros: Everything perfect!
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, free parking on site, little private terrace (though right next to the public area, therefore not quite so private).
Cons: Terrace, pool and garden all quite crammed together and right next to main path and parking area. Kitchen contains kettle, fridge and microwave though no further equipment to prepare food. Accommodation 30 min via motorway away from seaside.
Pros: The rooms are large, the host is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent.
Pros: The room was very spacious and in front of the swimming pool. The owners also made available to guests a small kitchen. It is a short drive to La Rochelle. Every morning the breakfast had homemade pastries and they were different each day.
Cons: Although it had a table and a chair outside of the room, there was no shade so under the summer sun it was not ideal to sit there. The breakfast would have been perfect if the orange juice would have been freshly made.
When you stay at Hotel Première Classe La Rochelle Sud - Aytré in Aytre, you'll be next to a golf course and 8 minutes by car from Beausejour. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We had book the accomodation for 2 nights but left after the first night as the room was so uncomfortable and hot, and unhygienic. We asked if we could cancel our second night minutes after we saw our room for the first time. The staff gave us no options as the hotel was full, so they could not offer a change of room, and they could not cancel our second night as we had booked on line! Therefore we ended up paying for a second which we did not use!
Cons: The hotel although called Premiere Classe was infact second class. The room was very small, had no air con or extraction system for ventilation in the bathroom. The room had 1 small window which we were unable to open as it overlooked a shared balcony which would have allowed access to anyone. The room was so small it only contained a bed, 1 bedside table and a small desk. There was what appeared to be marks on the wall from someone either urinating or vomiting on the wall.
Pros: Staff friendly and the room was clean. Cell style rooms like F1 hotels.
Cons: Location is on a commercial estate 8 miles from the city centre so you need to drive if you want some food, or to see the sites.
Pros: The receptionist
Cons: Our window looked over a work area full of laundry bags, and it was dirty. The shower spilt water all over the bathroom floor. The power outlets were in the wrong place. The price was way too high for the amenity offered.
Cons: I arranged to arrive early when I arrived. Nobody was there and couldn't book in. Was not happy had to change my schedule and return later. Not good. Maybe I could have a refund? Also breakfast was in another hotel. A bad experience.
Pros: Good value Breakfast and the helpfulness of the manager, who looked after my bike overnight.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning: heat was oppressive and not managed. No fans or anything in a place that must be used to this: no air circulation in the rooms.
Pros: Quiet room, clean facilities, easy location to travel to
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing, and not worth the money paid. No elevator made bringing luggage up two floors a difficult task. Staff was cleaning the lobby in the morning and were unfriendly about dirty shoes (I left shoes outside the door to avoid confrontation)
Pros: not a lot
Cons: breakfast very poor. not a lot of room , nosiy
When you stay at Appart'City La Rochelle in La Rochelle, you'll be near the beach, within a 15-minute walk of Vieux Port and Aquarium La Rochelle. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Facilities were great, there was always somebody to help if needed! Nice room!
Cons: There was a noise coming from the fridge area, which comes and goes the whole time! Very annoying during the night.
Pros: Nice short walk to town!
Cons: All good here!
Pros: Good basic apartment, wifi , good parking, takes dogs, Location a short walk to the old port. Surrounding area a bit unkempt. I would stay again
Pros: Great location, excellent parking facilities! Will definitely visit again
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Staff were very good.
Cons: Room 117 was a bit dated and not so well fitted out. The bathroom was in need of some attention. It was clean. Parking was quite costly but secure. Cost for dog was quite high considering.

Pros: Good location to old town, very comfortable beds.
Cons: Frig not cold. Tv channels didnt match guide. Only 1 english channel. Would love real cups, not paper. Spoons or stirrers in room.
Pros: Helpful staff, very comfortable clean rooms. Good bar and restaurant
Cons: Difficult to find after a long drive.
Pros: 10 mins walk to old town center. Super good breakfast with everything hot and cold. Nice staffs! Room is a bit small for 2audlts +2 kids. But kids are free for beds and breakfast! Highly recommended!

Pros: Out of town, but good value for money. Decent clean room and a reasonable breakfast.
Pros: Very reasonable cost
Cons: Air con not very effective
Pros: Welcoming front of house (Cynthia) and pleasant and helpful young man at breakfast time. The room was very clean and enough for an overnight stay before catching a plane.Breakfast was good for the price and being a buffet you can go back for more if desired.
Cons: I can’t think of anything— it was an overnight stopping hotel and not for longer sojourns really. It was good for purpose.
Cons: Didn't speak any English
Pros: Practical and neat
Cons: Not applicable
Pros: Clean. Value for money. Proximity to La Rochelle.
Cons: The a/c wasn't working so we only had fan.
A stay at Hotel Kyriad La Rochelle City Centre places you in the heart of La Rochelle, within a 15-minute walk of Vieux Port and Aquarium La Rochelle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in La Rochelle? This hotel has facilities measuring 430 square feet (40 square meters), including a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: We had a problem finding the hotel as the main address given on the reservation note when put into the satnav took us to the centre of a residential area and we had to telephone the hotel, even though we were not far from it, but a we didnt know the area we would not have found it by oursselves. Otherwise the stay was good.
Cons: It would have been nice is there had been hot drink making facilities in the room as after travelling all day it would have been nice to make a hot drink and relax in our room
Pros: We enjoyed the breakfast and the location was just about 15 minutes walk from the centre of La Rochelle. The bed was very comfortable and the bonus was having a kettle in the room. Room really clean. Shower very good. Would recommend.
Cons: Did not have any complaints
Pros: Very comfortable beds Coffee available any time
Cons: Would have liked a rail to hold to get out the bath
Pros: The hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Marian at the front desk was friendly and welcoming and very helpful with my lack of French.
Cons: Breakfast was ok, could do with a little more variety
Cons: Bedding too warm
Pros: Clean and comfortable in all areas of the hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel, although it wasn't secure.
Cons: Would have liked a greater choice for breakfast. Nothing hot available apart from the drinks. Coffee lacked flavour.
With a stay at Hôtel Résidence de France, you'll be centrally located in La Rochelle, a 4-minute drive from Aquarium La Rochelle and 6 minutes from Vieux Port. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. For a surcharge, guests may use a shuttle from the hotel to the airport (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Staff were good nice breakfast.
Cons: Staff were absolutely lovely but there were some minor problems like inadequate wifi and no tv, but the main problem is that there was no heating, we asked for a heater on the 1st night, we didn't get one. The next day was colder and wet, we got soaked and when we asked again for a heater we were told that there was none left. I asked for the manager and my request was refused as they were not in. In my view, asking for a warm room shouldn't be ignored, I do not recommend anyone stay here in winter.
Pros: Location and cleanliness including spacious and lovely staff
Cons: There was a shortage of warm food at breakfast, none actually left at 9am!
Pros: What we paid and what we got was very good value . Loved the location, bath robes, white company products, comfy bed and decor.
Cons: There was a roughness to the finish of the hotel, though at the price we paid to be expected. for the full price advertised i would say that it is a work in progress.
Cons: Hotel was under refurbishment so no restaurant or bar facilities.
Pros: The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was in a good location.
Cons: There was no Internet on our floor. This was a known ongoing problem. Our bath leaked water all over the floor. The hair dryer was hanging off the wall. This 5 star hotel had closed its bar and restaurant.
Cons: Very dirty, moldy, obsolescent hotel, particularly the bathroom was filthy, the towels were grey, the furniture dated and in poor condition, the carpet all consumed with holes, the service inexistent, it is incredible, how it got 5 stars? This is worth only a star, to be very generous....Absolutely to avoid!
Pros: Excellent location, easy to find, and with really good parking. The public spaces were really nice and in season, I expect the pool would be good. The bed was probably the most comfortable that I’ve slept in, and the toiletries were fab. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel, both choice and quality were excellent. The staff were polite and helpful.
Cons: It was very disappointing that the bar was shut. I knew the pool would be shut in mid December but expected the bar to be open. In some places the decor was a little shabby eg the material the arm of one of the chairs in our room was fraying. Our room was mostly clean but there was a limescale ring around the sink plughole in our bathroom and a little patch of black mould at the bath. Both could have been easily dealt with.
Pros: The location is good
Cons: The stff are rude and that hotel deserves 3 stars definitely not 5 stars The breakfast was really basic .
Cons: Parking underground is very cramped

Featured amenities include express check-out, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Pros: Helpful, lovely staff Very clean room Great powerful shower Comfortable bed
Pros: Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Room was cleaned every day with no unwanted noise at night. Easy to get to with android auto except on a Sunday festival. Bonus of under ground carpark little tight on entrance with SUV.
Pros: Within easy reach of the centre
Cons: Room a bit small
Pros: Good location only short walk to the centre, historical parts and various museums. One of the beaches is also circa 15-20 min away. Underground parking is available, there were lots of free spaces available during our stay but it's best to reserve it.
Cons: Breakfast was rather mundane, same things every day, limited choice of the foodstuff available did not help, although buying it from somewhere would cost the same or slightly more. Money that booking.com collects on their behalf doesn't include city tax though, which might cause confusion.
Pros: Taking into account the price/ quality the hotel is very good.
At the heart of the historic center of La Rochelle and close to the Place du Marché, the ibis Centre Historique welcomes you for a relaxing getaway or a business trip. Located 5 minutes on foot from the Port and its aquarium, you will appreciate the calm environment of the hotel and its immediate access to the picturesque streets of the downtown area. Treat yourself to a trip to the famous Ile de Ré, only 15 minutes away from the hotel by car.
Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful. And a good value breakfast.
Pros: Very convenient hotel for visiting the city
Cons: Bathroom was a bit small but fine for a few days
Pros: Location was excellent. Close to the market and shops and 2 minutes to the harbour. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Nice little lounge area in reception with a bar. Couldn't have asked for better
Pros: I did not have the breakfast, but the location is very good, close to the market, restaurants and many nice shops and historic sites and transportation.
Pros: The location is excellent, right in the centre of the old town close to the market place. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and clean.
Cons: The room was small and there was not a great deal of space to relax comfortably there. Every inch of space was cleverly used but it was small. You really had to be lying in bed to watch the television comfortably.
Breakfast and unlimited WiFi included in all prices at ibis Styles La Rochelle Centre. The hotel is in the heart of La Rochelle, just a few steps from the Grosse-Horloge, Vieux-Port and the Casino beach; 100m from the piers for Aix and Ré islands. The hotel offers 82 air-conditioned rooms. Reception is open 24/7. A bar, snacks and paid parking (500m) are available.
Pros: Location, value for money
Pros: room was small but comfortable and clean, buffet breakfast was available till 11am on the weekend which was lovely for a lie in, friendly staff, fantastic location in the heart of old town La Rochelle, Eco friendly where you could swap changing your towels for drink tokens!
Pros: Great location just off the harbour and near to all the restaurants and bars.
Cons: There isn't a restaurant at the hotel. But there are plenty just outside.
Pros: Continental breakfast was very good.
Cons: No hot drink making facilities in room. Whilst you were supposed to be able to make a drink in reception area, on the first evening there was no milk and the second evening, at about 11.30pm, all tea/coffee making facilities had been taken away. Not good.
Pros: The hotel rooms and corridors are designed with a theme in mind like most Ibis Styles hotels in France. Hotel is in the middle of the city. Just a short walk from the attractions, the restaurants, the beach and shops.
Cons: If you are driving, as with most hotels in the cities, parking could be a challenge. That is the price you pay for staying inside the city.
Pros: Location = Perfect Reception staff very helpful
Cons: Breakfast area to small for the amount of guests, not enough seating
Pros: Comfortable location
Cons: Out of hours booking confusing, had to book into hotel next door, take a lift from underground parking, different lifts not very clearly explained. Not what you need at the end of a tiring journey.
Pros: The location is perfect for the exploration of La Rochelle, you are just a short walk from the historical center. The staff we met was always friendly and helpful. The parking is private and it costs 4 euros per night, which was alright for us. The room was also very good. The check-in is after 3 pm, so if you come earlier, you can leave your car in the parking or your bags, but you won't be able to enter the room earlier. Would stay here again.
Pros: Great value for money. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good location next to the cinema. 10 minute walk into town. Breakfast simple but OK for the money. Good, secure underground parking.
Cons: It was noisy from outside the hotel. Bar and club in proximity and in a student area so lots of noise until very late. Breakfast was good but lack of staff meant asking for things to be refilled took quite a lot of time.
Pros: Great location,comfortable bed,great shower,good underground parking
Cons: Only stayed one night and everything was good, did not have breakfast
Pros: Very comfy bef. Good location
Cons: The lift wasnt working. Room on 3rd floor
With a stay at Campanile La Rochelle Nord - Puilboreau in Puilboreau, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Vieux Port and Marais Poitevin Regional Nature Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Planning an event in Puilboreau? This hotel has facilities measuring 592 square feet (55 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A very good overnight stay
Pros: Excellent overnight stay. Close to the very nice town of La Rochelle
Cons: The property is tired and ready for refurbishment
Pros: It was clean
Cons: The child’s bed slid out from underneath the adult bed, blocking the door to the bathroom. When I needed to use the bathroom I had to wake up my son, move him, and then move the bed! There was also significant noise from padding traffic that kept me awake
Pros: Good value for money tea & coffee making in the room unusual for France . Food was good and staff friendly
Cons: Not a great outlook but easy reach of motorway for travelling .
Pros: Good evening meal
Cons: Shower gel not great
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The rooms are south facing and have very large windows. The sun flares directly into the rooms and the air con system dies nothing to cool the rooms. You can close the shutters completely and be in complete darkness and you will still boil. I waited a long time for reception staff to come to the desk to check in, as they were also serving in the restaurant. We sat fit a very long time in the restaurant waiting to order, then decided to leave and walk to the nearest bar to drown our sorrows. The most uncomfortable night ever. Never to be repeated.
Pros: All good with bath
Cons: A little out of the town
Pros: Lovely village adjacent. Good for dog walking
Cons: Looked tired but clean. Very busy road nearby so could not leave windows open. No English news Chanel on the TV
Pros: Convenient for La Rochelle
Cons: Tired decor. Dangerous stairs and hand rails.
Mercure La Rochelle Vieux-Port Sud welcomes you for a business or leisure stay, or for your private or professional events, in a light-filled complex with 1,000 m² of meeting rooms. For your leisure moments, our hotel in La Rochelle offers a fitness room and an excellent restaurant, L'Océanide. There you can savour a delicious breakfast or a meal of classic French dishes while admiring panoramic views of the yacht marina and La Rochelle towers.
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location and lovely breakfast .
Cons: Nothing - everything was great.
Pros: Fabulous location. Very clean rooms, helpful staff. Very yummy breakfast.
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: The hotel is in very bad shape, the rooms, the corridors need immediate update. The quality of the room made our stay unbearable, so we left after the first night and moved to another hotel. The faucet from the sink was rusted, the bathtub drain was clogged, the pillows were the most unconfortable pillows that I ever had to put my head on, the carpet was stained and very used, the towels were very old and used to give just a few examples.
Pros: The hotel has great parking facilities, is located by a 3 minute walk from the heart of the town which hosts good bars and eateries. The hotels location means you are not too far from the major access routes and is situated overlooking the marina. I always stay here on my journey to spain and always book my room for my homeward leg as well. The rooms overlooking the marina come with a premium but tend to be bigger and have a little more room including a bath/shower which may be important rather than just a shower. Modern reception area with multilingual staff.
Cons: Nothing really I usually leave early so dont take the breakfast but think its a little expensive, i tend to hit the local boulangeries who are open really early and you cant beat their fresh pastries.

See its architectural style and magnificent church. 1 km from the fairgrounds and 15 km from the Ile de Ré. The hotel offers 79 AC rooms equipped with WiFi, 3 of which are adapted for the disabled. A bar and 24-hour snacks are available. For parking, a paid public parking is close to the hotel (VP Sud).
Pros: Lovely staff a nice lounge area and a good breakfast selection
Cons: Asked for a quite room and put next door to a room being renovated so very noisy from 9am, hotel unable to move us.
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Nothing. Could provide tea and coffee and water in.rooms
Pros: A very accommodating and friendly staff and an exceptionally convenient location near the Vieux Port quarter. We didn't try the breakfast but there are so many options (boulangers, cafés) nearby that we were fine without. Parking is free on-street on the weekend, also more secure public lot(s) nearby. They also accept animals (for a 12 eur fee as of this writing). We had a really enjoyable stopover as a couple with our 10 year-old daughter (the foosball table was a plus!).
Cons: The bar menu specified the "Palais des Thés" brand but unfortunately none were to be found in the entire coffret of tea (all Lipton varieties). That was disappointing to my tea-aficionado spouse but no harm otherwise!
Pros: -Location -Staff -Facilities
Pros: Perfect and sssooooooooooo comfortable...
Pros: The front of the building is beautiful. The reception and bar staff and the cleaners were all very friendly and helpful
Cons: . Nothing it was all fine.
Pros: Great location. Secure public parking only a minute's walk from the hotel.
Pros: Good breakfast. Clean, quiet bedroom. Pleasant staff.
Cons: It said 'parking' on the advert. It didn't state that this was a public car park 200 metres away that cost me 11 euros for the 20 hours that I was parked. I don't like dogs in hotels but detest it when they are allowed in the restaurant at breakfast time.
With a stay at Hôtel Inn Design La Rochelle Resto Novo in La Rochelle, you'll be near the airport, within a 10-minute drive of Vieux Port and Charruyer Park. Pros: Clean and functional. Delivered on its promise. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The sink had a small leak and the bathroom floor got a little wet. Locarion wS a little out of the way (remote).
Pros: It was a great value hotel excellent breakfast helpful staff just on the outskirts of La Rochelle so very peaceful. Location the number 4 bus will take in and out of town every hour up till 8 pm
Pros: As above.
Cons: It was all good . The hotel was inexpensive and conveniently located near major roads. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Free parking on site and a comfortable room.
Pros: breakfast and staff were good
Cons: location next to motorway, incessant noise and danger.air conditioning was near useless in 30c temperatures.Lack of barrier and sound barrier meant motorway was very intrusive but meant accommodation carpark was dangerous for children and pets
Pros: The location was fine for access to the centre using public transport. If you want internet this is not the place to be, Room 1 which was the first room we were given could not access the hotel wifi at all, the member of staff that was working moved us to another room that did have internet access although it was extremely slow. The place itself was clean and the staff helpful.
Cons: Not a 3 star hotel , very small ,dirty matras and inner pillows ,old towels with holes , dirty walls .Not worth thé money asked at all.Booked for 4 nights stayed 1 than very diapointed looked for other hotel
Pros: Bed was very comfy
Cons: Pillows were terrible & smelt of rising damp
Pros: Car park
Cons: Right beside the motor way. Can smell the fumes. Room was run down, toilet wouldn't work and the bathroom light was also broken.
Pros: Good breakfast selection.
Cons: Bathroom needs a bit of an update
With a stay at Kyriad Direct La Rochelle Sud Aytré in Aytre, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Parc des Expositions de La Rochelle and Beausejour. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The hotel didn’t have any food and the nearest restaurant is at 10 min walk. Asked to print a document and couldn’t do it. Room is outdated and small.
Pros: Recently renovated and nicely done.
Pros: We liked the air-conditioning as it was a terrible heatwave whilst we were there and we could stay cool. I liked the size of the bed and the cotton bedding. The shower was nice and big and the water adjustable. There were plenty of towels and they were changed daily. I liked the free parking. I liked having a free swimming pool as the weather was scorching.
Cons: The breakfast was overpriced at 9€ so we did not have it. The shower wall tiles were dirty. The towels smelt of being stored in a smoky place. There was only one chair and one bedside table in a double room-annoying! The swimming pool did not open until 11:30-too late! The metal railed steps into the swimming pool were much too far apart vertically from each other making it VERY difficult to get out. There was hardly any shade for parked cars.
Pros: I have stayed here on two previous occasions it is located on an industrial park within easy distance of the motorway network. It has a pool, good selection of food for breakfast great value for money 10 minutes to La Rochelle and Il De re . Great base for visiting the surrounding areas . It is a budget hotel but it ticks all the boxes.
Cons: The hotel has recently been refurbished so nice and clean
When you stay at Hôtel & Spa du Château in Lagord, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Aquarium La Rochelle and Port des Minimes. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A very beautiful building and grounds to the back and very reasonable in price for the overnight stay, it was clean and bright and the receptionists were very friendly.
Cons: An amazing looking bar and restaurant but with it being a Sunday evening (6pm arrival) it was all SHUT! Not able to get a snack or even have a drink in the bar, ridiculous for a hotel like that not even to have snacks available or even the bar open for a drink! Managed to buy a bottle of wine from reception to drink at a quite a costly price of €29 (when just outside of Bordeaux?!) But we had to pour it ourselves and sit out room to drink it! Also having travelled a great deal around France with our very little dogs they charged us for them stating which is a first! Finally, our room had a small patio area with a table and chairs but the ashtray was full of butts - yuck!
Pros: Breakfast and dinner OK
Cons: No bar facilities and no room service for drinks
Pros: A good off-season centre for a trip to LA Rochelle. Very relaxing.
Cons: The restaurant menu was limited, probably owing to the season. Plenty good enough for two nights but would struggle for a third. There was a lot of confusion over the wine order and I would recommend ordering exclusively in either French or English but not mixing the two. The waitress was very helpful but clearly limited in English, although very anxious to try to accommodate us. It would have been easier just to stick to French.
Pros: Perfect for couples. The spa is wonderful. The place itself is really nice you actually sleep in a chateau. The room was bigger than the one than we booked, so we can’t ask for more. The staff were friendly and kind.
Cons: Far from the city center if you want to go walking
Pros: Easily located, warm, spacious room. Staff friendly and helpful.
Pros: Great location for La Rochelle. Lovely building with great bedroom
Pros: The property was elegant, sleek and stylish.
Cons: Would have liked the restaurant to be open later than 9 pm. Or maybe offer a late night snack menu for people who get in late. Fresh fruits, small salads, cheese plates, ready made cold sandwiches etc...
Pros: The room was large , ultra clean and very comfortable - with very large windows opening onto the garden it was an excellent room all round , with a wonderful walk in shower - The fridge wasnt working , but was replaced within 20 minutes with a new one . The staff were very bubbly and friendly and spoke good English if needed .
Cons: Leaving !!

Cons: Our experience with desk staff was 1/2 great, 1/2 quite poor; one person was extra-welcoming, but the other quite unfriendly.
Pros: Quieter than expected despite being very close to a main road. Excellent breakfast. Welcoming staff.
Cons: Stuffy room although air conditioning helped. Too hot in bed - an alternative to the duvet would have helped.

Pros: The facilities in general were excellent. Very pleased with the air con and double doors out to the balcony (which really helped with noise). Beautiful views of the ocean!
Cons: Leaking shower...and very low shower head. Aka we didn't fit under it stood up.
