Friendly staff, strategic location.
It is not possible for the hostel to register your stay (foreigner). It didn’t bring me any problem when I exit Russia thou ;)
Location was great, close to places of interest
Capsule was slightly narrow, feel boxed in. May be that's capsule
Amazing location. We walked everywhere (except for the Peterhof of course). There are 2 mini supermarkets around each corner of the street. All kinds of restaurants and cafes with English menus are everywhere. You can also order food through Yandex Food app. The hostel was very clean and quiet - you definitely need to set an alarm for the morning, otherwise you'd sleep until late afternoon. The hosts we met were super chill and friendly. They helped us with the registration forms and gave advice as where to go and what to see. Free tea and coffee (even freshly brewed) are available 24/7. You can cook in the kitchen as well, they have all the necessities ready to go. Capsule space is enormous. A little shelf, a personal lamp and a power socket are inside. Also, don't be scared by the word "capsule" - it's a usual bed with a curtain, you don't have to close it all the way if you're afraid you'd feel claustrophobic.
Please! Put trash bins next to the toilets. It was extremely frustrating to walk all the way to the only trash bin in the kitchen to dispose of used feminine products. Only found out about the second WiFi router in the bedrooms on our 3rd night there - thank you, Egor!
Very close to the centre
staff urged us to pay another 1.000 rb. for a so called "government registration ",which was, in my eyes, a tourist rip off. The place was a regular Appartement, not a hostel. Kitchen was small .No place to meet other people Thomas
Perfect location, just one street away from the Winter Palace. The hostel staff, Тёма, was very helpful, he helped us to purchase tickets and guided us personally to the dock. We received many helps from him during the four days of stay which I'm really thankful about.
