Extremely helpful and going-out-of-their-way staff, especially the receptionist Zarina.
The cleaning staff would occasionally overlook some minor detail (something that regularly happens at other hotels as well). The ashtray on the terrace (the only place to smoke) was never cleaned for the seven days we stayed there. Thank goodness that did not affect the comfort of any of the guests.
The location is very good, everything in walking distance! Bus/tram stop near the hotel and also the metro is close by. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The little fridge, 2 TV's, the airco, slippers, comfy bed, all a big plus :-) Friendly staff and it was no problem to leave our bags for a couple of hours, before we had to go to the airport.
It's a bit hard to find the entrance of the hotel, because you have to open a gate - like walking into a closed parking place - and the lobby is very small! All the steps is not really handy if you have a heavy bag/trolley! The seat in our sauna (room 118) could use a little support, before it could break - when sitting on it with 2 people, just an idea ;-) But these are all minor issues, we enjoyed our stay for sure!
The internet was not operating for three days. And, there was no mobile networks reception in the room. Being cut off from Internet for three days isn’t my idea of a perfect hotel for a business trip.
Location is great, good restaurants close by and nevsky in just few minutes by foot. Also metro stations very close by. Clean room and good facilities. Nice beds and quiet room. Helpfull staff even though english is not well spoken by all of them.
Bit tricky to find at first. It is on alley behind the big yellow building and there are no signs.
The Jacuzzi was nice, the room looked like on the picture, everything was clean.
The breakfast was very bad, who says the breakfast here is good is a liar. One time we get fried egg (cold), some sausages (cold) mushrooms directly from the can, some toast and cherry jam which looked and tasted really synthetical. You cannot darken the windows good, you will wake up early in the morning… From the main attractions is a bit far away. For St. Petersburg it’s a bit expensive, you can find Hotels with better value.
