was good from the desk pressure to us to leave before time hour, bathroom bath shower i saw dirty with fungus in the tile,
Right across the street from beautiful beach, heated pool/ whirlpool and plenty of great restaurants close by!! Only complaint is not enough days to enjoy the area before heading back to work.
Breakfast was minimal
Free parking, free wifi, kitchenette Very long walk to water from public parking area. Hotel did not provide beach chairs. View was not very good, even from rooftop patio. Room was filthy. Not much to do in the immediate area. We actually drove to Johns Pass Madeira Beach to use the beach there for 2 days and rented chairs for $15 a day and that's what made the trip worth it.
Very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were installing new carpet and our room already had it. Appreciated being able to have our pet there and the fridge and micro. Beds were comfy and we had more than adequate room to move around.
Nothing They seemed unorganized and unprofessional. It took me calling them for them to tell me the hotel was overbooked.
Large room, comfortable beds easy access and central location across from the beach and ammenities. Loud AC unit! A minor nuisance.
Right across streeet from beach with free self parking and breakfast. Not much more you could ask for.
Great value, excellent location. Walk to everything you want and need.
Close to the beach, staff was excellent, breakfast in the morning, location,
Incredibly clean and up-to-date hotel. Treasure Island is an old city, but this hotel is not. No restaurants or bars within a 5-minute walk.
Room / balcony & View! Elevators to few & slow.
Balcony overlooking Gulf of Mexico; size of room, size and layout of bathroom, quiet Only one good rsstaurant within easy walking distancehttps://maps.google.com/maps?q=Party+City%4042.1151914,-87.9843942
The room and staff were very accommodating! I will definitely stay again with my family and tell my friends this is the place to be for a genuine St Pete beach experience. A few plumbing issues that were quickly resolved.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and very nice.
I like the atmosphere and the family oriented resort. Nice beach.
The place was clean and most of the staff was friendly. Was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay there again. It was perfect for me and my husband. Mattress was a little hard for me but other than that everything was fine
very friendly staff good variety of coffee at front desk Bar on site Dated rooms
Free upgrade N/A
Kitchenette was clean and fairly updated. Great table for family dining. Bed and pillows were comfortable enough. Nice spacious balcony overlooking the ocean with steps to the ground level and an easy access path to the beach. Overall pleasant staff. Beautiful view of the beach from our room made all other issues seem not so terrible. Bathroom very dated and not very clean: tub and sink were peeling, rusty, and had a greenish buildup around all of the fixtures. Found more strands of hair than I'm comfortable with and towels provided had a few stains. Security of room doors was lacking: sliding door to balcony (with stairs leading to the ground) locked with only a pin in the top corner, deadbolt on the main door to the outside was falling out of the door and did not lock at all- the only lock on this door was the simple twist lock on the door knob. Maintenance attempted to fix the deadbolt once. After a few hours it still wouldn't lock.
The staff was amazing the hotel rooms could be updated just a little bit but it was more than we were expecting for being one of the cheaper hotels on the water. The pool area looked nice and clean and the hotel tiki bar was a lot of fun. The staff was great as my significant other can be a little to much for some people thinking he's hallarious and they played right along with him. We had a great time and would suggest this place for anyone! Bars and reasturants are just a few blocks away!
Convenient to beach Needs updating especially bathrooms very small also rate was wrong when we checked in that was adjusted also when we got to the room the front and back doors were wide open very weird never saw that before the room was extremely hot due to this and took a very long time to cool down, mentioned this to staff and the just apologized I guess working for Marriott for over 25 yrs I have been spoiled
Beautiful walk to the beach, lots of sand dunes. I brought a hammock it was paradise:), staff was really awesome and nice. Price was right. Room was beautiful, clean , and newly renovated with upgrades such as granite counters, a stone tile shower that was huge, wood looking ceramic floors. Even a live blue orchid plant in the room. Comfy bed and nice luxury fuzzy comforter. Loved the stay will most defiantly be back!
Excellent price and I can bring my dog at no cost!
Let me start by saying how misleading the previous reviews about this place are; for sure the fake "excellent place" reviews were written by the owners of this awful motel. This is for sure NOT the #1 hotel in Treasure Island!!! We have been coming to this area for a decade and staying at great places such as the Marriott and Sunset Vistas. Unfortunately we decided to try something new. What a mistake! About the owners: the lady who owns this place is extremely rude on top of her huge language barrier; we couldn't understand half of what she said. She is bossy and does not respect costumers' concerns and complaints at all (as written by another costumer before on a real review). We felt very unwelcome for bringing children. They also charged extra for our children!!! Why is not safe for children? the floor tiles are very slippery in the entire unit. My kids felt badly and my daughter got injured twice. You need to keep drying the floor with towels all the time. The rooms are not child proof! Another big problem is the location. There is a long walk to the beach, which is NOT simply across the street. You have to walk all way to the pedestrian crossing area in order to safely get to the beach through the heavy traffic. It took us about 10-15 min to walk to the beach with all the umbrella/ stroller/ chairs etc!!! Rooms: we stayed at a 2-bed and the AC does not cool down the second/porch addition bedroom. It gets super cold in one room and super hot in the other room. There are no curtains and some of the blindes are broken. That means you will be up early with the sunrise! Service: they only provide few kitchen utensils. Towels only once for your whole stay. We try to find the owners at the office but no one to be found when we needed help. They don't provide cleaning products but expect you to leave the rooms clean or you may be charged!! Check out is at 10 AM!!!! No option for extended hours?!? What?!? We will certainly never come back to this place! There are better and more affordable options of hotels oceanfront that welcome costumers in a much better way and provide safety and comfort for families.
I loved that it was on the beach. The grounds are well kept, and clean. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. I really do not have anything to put here.
Beyond happy with our weekend getaway here. The staff were extreamly friendly and was very satisfied with the size of our room. From the lobby to the grounds to the room everything was very clean. Great location. Parking a little tight but it didnt bother me enough that i wouldnt stay here again
Cute, retro-quaint and right on the beach. Close to shopping, no driving required - beach trolly arrives every half hour and travels the whole length of the beaches. Clean sparkling pool, was able to cook in the room - all utensils, cookware, plates & cups were provided. In-room safe was a great to keep our valuables in without worry. Linens and towels were always clean. The staff was awesome - cheerful and eager to help in any way! Great place if you plan to be a beach bum and need a place to just chill for a few days like we did. Occupants above us sounded like they were going to come thru the ceiling. Chairs and door casing were really filthy (a good down and dirty spring cleaning would help this place a lot) - my room mate and I cleaned the room top to bottom with Chlorox wipes - dirt appeared to have been there for a very long time. Air conditioner was old and didn't really pull any of the dampness out of the room at all. Room smelled a little dank and moldy.
Had to leave.
The pool area was very nice. The air conditioner was great. The kitchenette was nice. The bed was ok for a hotel bed. Nice area out back ( Bayside ) with picnic tables/grills. The staff was nice especially Terri the housekeeper The shower head was PAINFUL!! If I knew we could have taken the shower head off I would have went to the store and bought a cheap one to replace it with. If you walked in the room with no shoes on, the bottom of your feet would be black (I kept my flip flops on at all times). There were knat like bugs in the room, especially around the windows. We complained and they said that the exterminator would be out "sometime during the week " but we never saw them. The bugs were especially bad first thing in the morning. They would be all over the blinds on the Bayside of the room. This made me more uncomfortable than anything during our visit.
A good value, clean with a small kitchenette. Staff was friendly, although office closes early. The beach is really wide, so it is a bit of a hike to the waterfront. Parking is limited, a warning to late arrivals.
I was a bit hesitant until we arrived we loved it! We actually extended our stay for 2 more nights. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly nice rooms and a great bay view! Walked everywhere no need for vehicle. Will definitely be back
