Cons: Turned up to room not having been cleaned in the middle of the night. Cold noisy and dirty.
Cons: A budget hotel in a noisy location. Pubic hair on the bed sheets(although they had been washed) and the shower room was filthy(certainly not cleaned) with ground in dirt around the sink, taps and shower base. Hairs of all kinds were present on the floor, sink suroundings and walls with thick layers of built up dust on the flat surfaces under the sink. The shower taps were worn and the cold tap too stiff to turn. The shower pan drained very badly and the water quickly overflowed onto the adjacent floor. Dirty marks were visible on every wall in the room. This Hotel obviously employs staff that have absolutely no experience in cleaning practices. I did of course complain at the reception(no interest in having a look at the room) only to be informed i had to send an Email to the direction.
Cons: Bathroom was disgusting, fly's allover the ceiling squashed and not cleaned . Noise was so bad I got an hours sleep. Bed cover was disgusting. Blind on window was.broke and didn't block out light . Being on the ground floor people were looking in.
Pros: Easy to find private car park bonus
Pros: Felt super safe there, second visit and breakfast is awesome.
Pros: Typical supermarket items for breakfast.

The hotel is a "HQE" building, which offers great comfort, a lot of natural light, with a low carbon footprint. The 70 rooms are comfortable, spacious, decorated with natural colors and equipped with Pay TV, Wireless internet connection, telephone, and for some mini-bar.
Cons: Room was so hot! Aircon nix, fan just couldn’t do much, window open, very noisy local groups on parking lot
Pros: The room was super comfortable. The interior furniture and the bath room were well-designed. Facility is very nice as well.
Cons: The receptionist was blunt and not polite.
Cons: Sunday evening everything was closed and there was no prior warning about this. We couldn't get any food at the hotel. A fair old hike into town only to find 2 pizza joints open.
Pros: Elegant convenient location. Smart horel, very good food and nice, friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing. I liked everything.
Pros: Pleasant Hotel. Staff friendly. Parking good. Food average/good. For a one night stop over - OK
Cons: Location was not great.
Pros: Good location with free parking. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. It was nice that they had muesli and granola. Quiet view of a grassy field from our window. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom and room setup was a little strange. I really don't like frosted glass doors on bathrooms because if your partner is up before or after you it wakes the other person up too with the light. This room also had an extra 'mini window' between room and bathroom. It should have had the shower on that side as it had no light of its own.
Located in Soissons, Hotel Campanile Soissons is in a shopping district, within a 5-minute drive of Abbaye de St-Jean-des-Vignes and Musée de Soissons. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and an elevator.
Cons: Looked like the kind of place lorry drivers would take prostitutes
Pros: The staff very polite
Cons: The room it was dirty had to ask for it to be cleaned again wanted my money back but refused a refund
Cons: The bed was like a rock the spiderwebs on all the lights in the room
Pros: A DUMP !
Cons: Alles ! Filthy room ….. MOLD in the bathroom; dirt on the bathroom wall; Entrance tiny carpet filthy ! ; the windows and shutters full with dirt and dust ! Disgusting ! LOUD and RUDE people above us that banged on the floor all night and threw trash from their " balcony " in front of our room. Never have I been in or experienced such a DUMP like this !!!
Cons: We stayed 2 weeks in Europe in a different hotel every night! This place was by far the worst. The place looked like it hasn't been keep up in years. In fact, from the outside, one could guess it was abandoned! Inside fared little better. We could see caked on dirt in the register vents! It smelled of a musty odor and of pets. It was so bad, I gave the clerk the key back and told him we were leaving, knowing he'd never refund our money. When I explained why he simply shrugged his shoulders a said "Sorry"!
Pros: There wasn't a single thing nice about the place.
Cons: The hotel was on an industrial estate, there was a filthy( on the inside) shutter pulled down over the window. The bath had a shower but no shower curtain, it was lethal trying to step out without slipping, bed linen was smelly. Food was terrible, so glad we only ate there once. The guy on the reception was keen but limited in his ability. The exterior was as bad as the interior, l've stayed in better hostels.
Cons: No alcohol license anymore, been 3 times before but nothing to drink now

Pros: clean, nice staff, good breakfast.
Cons: the hotel was in the middle of nowhere. there was a taxi who cheat me two times. I sincerely ask the hotel not to work with this taxi. it is not good to cheat the client. we are human and we have to respect each other.
Pros: Location is great
Cons: The room smelt of sewage during the night, made me feel quite ill.
Pros: Big room, friendly staff, late check out time (before 12 oclock)
Pros: Clean, nice, and new, great breakfast, easy parking.
Cons: Difficult to locate, lobby computer not very user friendly, comforter for bed is too hot. Would prefer sheets, blankets so I could use only as much as I need.
Pros: Good breakfast and nice having the fruit which could be taken if wanted. Staff helpful.
Cons: Location was a little industrial but easy to get to.
Pros: Very smooth check in and check out Clean, modern, super comfy bed
Pros: Clean, shower was great, cheap, bed comfortable
Cons: Location, no coffee in room, towels were thin, aircon not cold enough,
With a stay at Hotel Beaudon in Pierrefonds, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Chateau de Pierrefonds and Compiegne Forest. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage.
Pros: Good facilities. Very friendly owners and excellent food. Great for an overnight stop
Pros: The large room and the little touches that made it special
Cons: Everything was spotlessly clean except the inside of the wardrobe which was dusty.
Pros: Everything (the staffs, services and facilities)
Cons: Need a disposable foot wears in the rooms. The floor could be some times extra cold.
Pros: Lovely hotel, with amazing view of the Château. This was our second time visiting. We ate in the restaurant and the food was superb!!! Our Bathroom was very clean! Would definitely stay again, but prefer room on the second floor.
Cons: Breakfast a little disappointing, would have liked some toast and maybe fried eggs?.. no hot food offered. Our room on the third floor could do with re-decorating.
Pros: We stay here every year on our way to the alps & the owners always welcome us back. Very friendly, helpful & good English spoken. Excellent location in Pierrefonds with views of the castle from our bedroom windows.
Cons: Nothing, although lots of steps to the top floor!

Hotel le Rallye is 1.5 km from Soissons Tran Station, and there is a swimming pool 2 km from the property. The Saint-Waast quarter is just a 5-minute walk away.
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Le Rallye it is run by a charming and fun loving couple. The bar is typical of France - locals calling in for a coffee etc nothing fancy. We were well looked after, this is not the Ritz but you will struggle to find a more welcoming and warm host. We had a generous typically french breakfast with coffee, juice, baguette and croissant too!
Pros: Very welcoming. Surprisingly quiet at night. Clean facilities. Laid back. They put our bicycles in a garage overnight - very helpful.
Pros: The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is only 10 minutes on foot from the town centre and the various historic buildings.
Pros: Very welcoming Madame Perfect storage for our bikes Generous French breakfast
Pros: The owners were lovely, friendly people who treated us well. They provided a free, covered, locked garage for our bicycles and the coffee at breakfast was the best I've had in France. It's clean, basic accommodation.
Pros: Room wasn't too small.
Cons: Woman who ran the place was ride, the only ride person I met during my five week holiday through Europe.

Pros: Beautiful ! No hot water though
Cons: Hot water not enough !
Pros: Well placed for touring . Wonderful meals . Very pleasant staff
Cons: We had a slight problem at the start as there was a misunderstanding re. the size of the bed .We asked for a king size bed in our booking and we were given a standard double . But they kindly offered to give us a suite as a replacement !
Pros: Great food
Cons: Room and double bed were too small and too hot. If made for an uncomfortable stay in a perfect location.
Pros: The restaurant is a little gem. Not the cheapest but the food was excellent. Lovely little village with nice woodland walks.
Pros: nice clean hotel, friendly staff. good breakfast restaurant next door was ok for business stay
Cons: location is at an industrial area, so not much to see. For business purposes it is ok.
Pros: No issues whatsoever and even quiet on a Saturday night!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!
Pros: How easy it was to park and get checked into our room.
Cons: The Bathroom was a little run down.
Pros: Nothing to like. The room was very very basic not welcoming the curtain was hang off the rail. It was very drap and depressing. No facilities to get a drink and all surrounding restaurants were closed apart from McDonald’s!!!
Cons: Most things, the staff, the room, the facilities. Of note the hotel had changed its name since we had booked it and we were not made aware of this !!!
Pros: Room at the back was quiet, the ac was reset as I asked.

With a stay at Fasthôtel Soissons Centre in Soissons, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Abbaye de St-Jean-des-Vignes and Musée de Soissons. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I like the location but aside that it was horrible experience. They wont allow you to take your food to the room and they also wont keep it for safe keeping so we had to throw our pizza away.
Cons: So much mosquitoes, no air conditioning and the heat was terrible. The toilet had a bad stench coming from the vent and also the internet was horrible..keeps disconnecting. Very bad hotel indes
Cons: Check-in was only possible at 8 p.m.!! Two hours after our check-out someone of the staff called us saying they would charge us 30 € because of a missing bath towel. We went back, they apologized and gave us back 30€. They did not expect we would return!! This might be a common method to get money (from foreigners)? Actually, we noticed that the 30€ were charged on our credit card BEFORE the payment of our stay!!!! No comment!
Pros: No answer ....
Cons: No answer
Pros: I did not have the breakfast. The location was fantastic for the train station
Cons: Carpet on the floor and a blanket
Pros: Brrakfast was fine
Cons: When I arrived, reception was closed. Had to wait in the street. Luckily not taining at the time. I did not arrive putside hours (about 4pm) No toilets in some tooms, thankfully there wss a sink. Shower also provided. TV in room never worked. The one in the bar did. For light sleepers, the hotel is very close to the station, which is busy and noisy. The town is small so everything accessible.
Cons: It is like a one star French hotel from the 1990s. Small and shabby room with a panel of unpainted plasterboard in the bathroom. 10 euros a day for Wifi is exorbitant especially as the Fasthotel brochure claims it is free! The area is not the nicest part of Soissons.
Pros: Room was pleasant, food was good
Cons: Not having toilet in the room
Located in Saint-Jean-aux-Bois, Le jardin de Saint Jean is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Chateau de Pierrefonds and Compiegne Golf Club. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice host. Love the fireplace.
Pros: Both the location and the quietness of this place were exceptional. On top of that add the friendliness and openness of the owners, charming atmosphere of the forest, great sightseeing and historical spots and, in my humble opinion, you'd get all the ingredients for a perfect stay with a family and the kids, who, by the way, really enjoyed their room, a night stroll in the woods and a fireplace in the house.
Pros: Liked the friendly provision for our reception, although it was nearly midnight; there was a candle outside our room, where the lights were left on.
Pros: Wonderful location to relax and forget everything. We stayed there for a week traveling through the region and are glad to have chosen it as our "home base". The beds are comfortable, the place is clean, it is very quiet and the garden is gorgeous. Every morning and evening there was fire in the fireplace, which was really cozy. Would go there again anytime! Don't miss: the fluffy and lazy cat (a.k.a. king of the house) :-D
Pros: Lovely breakfast/common room with comfortable seating and log fire, very accommodating host, great location in the forest, quiet and peaceful
Cons: Misleading booking.com description: there are no kitchenette in the rooms
Pros: Amazing place - we loved it
Pros: I loved the location in the woods, lovely to walk to Saint-Jean-aux-Bois and Pierrefonds. The room was lovely, comfortable and very well decorated. Juana was a great host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: Great place, amazing fireplace and atmosphere
Cons: Would inly suggest to make the breakfast with a wider choice. But home made jams were fantastic
With a stay at Hôtel Restaurant Bonanite in Villers-Cotterets, you'll be 9.9 mi (15.9 km) from Chateau de Pierrefonds and 30.6 mi (49.3 km) from Parc Asterix. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good hotel. Room is clean. People are nice.
Cons: Short time for breakfast. Till 9h30 only.
Pros: Breakfast was very complete, lots of choice. Convenient location for a stopover (just from the main road). I saw some complaints in earlier reviews over early/late checkins but you get a clear message (albeit in french only) with instructions (via mail, booking app ánd sms), so I don't see how that would be a problem (though we did arrive in the regular timeslot)
Cons: Bed wasn't very comfortable, and sounds isolation wasn't very good, though they seemed to keep guests a room apart (as the hotel wasn't full) which helped.
Pros: Comfortable bed, quiet room (top floor, end of corridor), amazing breakfast, efficient check in and out. This is an excellent budget-style hotel. Note that if you stay on a Saturday night you might be a little disturbed as there’s a wedding venue nearby. We were part of a wedding there and early to bed but I think some people on the ground floor were woken up by the late partyers returning!!
Pros: everything, price of meals .
Cons: not a lot
Pros: Very little noise from adjacent rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our visit and after a long day we were reduced to bread and cheese.
Pros: Very good breakfast，the room is quiet nice and cosy
Pros: Peaceful, secure location. Clean and comfortable room.
Cons: We arrived late and there weren't any machines for a coffee or a drink/snack.
Located in Suzy, Les Etangs du Moulin is in a rural location and within the region of Familistère de Guise and Chateau de Pierrefonds. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: All of it was fantastic, location, facilities, chalet, host, scenery, everything was fantastic.
Cons: Nothing at all, as stated above all of it was fantastic.
Pros: The accommodation is excellent. We were upgraded by our host to a superior cottage. Such good value and a great change from the usual hotels we usually stay in for our stopovers . Although the facilities ( bar and restaurant ) were closed as it was out of season, we were aware of this at the time of booking but made no difference to our stay. Thoroughly recommended.
Cons: Breakfast was rather poor , the typical continental but a single coffee machine pod per person, with no milk . Would have been ok if hadn't been charged the full 8 euros per person for my two children ( 9 and 12 ) who didn't eat anything. I just felt 32 euros was very poor value, even more so when the nights accommodation was only 80 euros.
Pros: great place for a night stay with the kids, good food, good services exactly what it says on the tin. we will be back
Pros: We stayed in the ROULOTTE ( Caravan ) for one night - in hindsight it would have been lovely to stay there longer. The caravan was great, great facilities, quite comfortable and lovely view of the countryside. My daughter enjoyed the on-site covered pool. Nice restaurant - nice breakfast It is a lovely area - there are very different type of accommodations on site - I am sure we shall be back
Pros: This property was very unusual and very cosy with a fantastic rustic feeling.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like
Pros: The location is beautiful and the theme is cool
Cons: We found the bed and bedroom far too small for us. (We struggled to move around the bed) No comfy chairs to relaxing just wooden bench and dining chair
Pros: Comfortable and well equipped accommodation
Pros: The whole god-damn experience! It was an amazing place, in the middle of almost nowhere. So quiet, peaceful and romantic.
Cons: Err? Dunno. Can't think of a thing. Cheaper maybe, but thats just me been tight.
Pros: Great location and very tranquil, staff were very friendly and a lovely place to stay
Cons: If it doesn't sound to picky I wasn't happy with temperature of swimming pool

Pros: Very helpful, kind and welcoming host. Kitchen fully equipped with tea and coffee. I really appreciated check in and check out automatic. Thank you host Valérie for the check in early.
Cons: Parking is quite challenging with a family car. As it is an old house with a wooden floor you sometimes could hear the footsteps and noises of the neighbors.
Pros: The fact that this was our third (or fourth - can't quite remember) stay says it all. This time we were in a different apartment which for the two of us and our dogs was great. It's a great location for an overnight stay on the way south with secure parking at the property and a very easy check-in process (code access sent be email in advance) which takes the pressure off arriving at a set time. Will definitely use Clos du Val again.
Pros: Great location, easy to find, lovely clean and cosy space. Great equipment for 1 night-could make simple supper and breakfast. So clean and welcoming-great communication and help from owner and lovely balcony and view for perfect finish to holiday!
Pros: We didn't have breakfast. The location was beautiful but quite isolated.
Pros: The house was neat and attractive. Our hostess Valerie was courteous and friendly—we felt warmly welcomed. All in all this place was a great "find."
Pros: Much nicer than staying in a motel at the same approximate price but because we were three it actually cost less than booking two rooms in a motel. It was quiet and peaceful and we all had a good nights rest. We would definitely stay again if it's available. Merci Madame.
Cons: Nothing. It was very good value for money.
Pros: The location was stunning and the room met our needs
Cons: Parking was a little tight and. Oils use some fans in the room
Pros: Very beautiful, proprietor very nice, beautiful skys, remote and rural. Exceptionally clean
Cons: Food not available, advance warning would have left us more prepared
7.3 Good (139 reviews)

Pros: Nice little village but had to drive to find somewhere to eat in the evening.
Cons: Young child not really under control around our classic car.
Pros: Fantastic location, beautiful premises, great bed, room, food, and fantastic host.
Pros: Like the location, the hotel, the owner, the peaceful surroundings, the breakfast, the price of the room with breakfast, and servicing to very clean standard
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Had to ask for kettle next day after night time arrival
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. The property is a slightly updated period house set in a peaceful rural village.
Cons: These things were not a problem for us but there is no lift and the shower, in our room at least was set over a hip bath which required a step over of about a foot to enter.
Pros: Vintage style, beautiful and quit place.
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Sounds from other rooms were loud. Nothing to see in this village. No shops, no restaurants.
Cons: It seemed closed for the season. No TV as advertised. Lounge and shared kitchen not available to us. Poor breakfast. Host offered no reduction. No games or library available. Girl from next door gave us the key and did her best.
Pros: The Location was quite, and pleasant. The facility was looked after properly

Pros: All excellently well set -
Pros: Excellent value for money, great beds and delicious breakfast
Pros: Very comfortable rooms, beautifully furnished. Excellent breakfast, great location, friendly hosts
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Warm welcome; excellent location; delightfully furnished accommodation; very good value for money; good restaurants within easy reach.
Cons: Could have done with more pillows and a lighter duvet but that’s just a personal matter.
Pros: The Location. It was really quiet and secluded in the woods. The ample parking space was behind the property and felt secure. The host was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome, although he spoke neither German nor English. The unique accomodation was perfect for our needs, and most importantly the 4 poster bed was most comfy. The breakfast was typical French, simple, adequate and always had enough coffee.
Cons: Napoleons bed could have been lower to allow our short ageing legs better Access. We thought Napoleon was also a short man. Next time we shall take some steps. It was also totally dark at night , which in emergency may be a problem. The bath was also slippy when showering and Nothing to hold on to. Could cause injury.

Cons: WiFi was poor!!!
Pros: Charming, quirky, well equipped chalet with comfortable beds and great outdoor terrace. Provisions left in fridge and fresh croissants and bread delivered in the morning a lovely touch. Easy walk to the castle and lovely village for restaurants etc.
Cons: Very slightly tired round the edges, but more than made up for by cleanliness, caring touches and warm welcome from staff.
Pros: This place is great! Very cute, both interior and exterior. If you want something special for your stay, book this tower!
Cons: We went in the winter so there was no wifi and since we were the only guestst, check in was either by ourselves or in a very limited timeframe.
Pros: Funky and fun....It was great
Cons: Stairs were difficult to manage
Pros: Thé sleeping camper was superbe. And clean
Cons: Bathroom and shower not so clean. And there was dog doo at many places
Pros: the cabin was excellent, the people who looked after cabin were very polite and pleasant
Pros: At least there was hot water!
Cons: We arrived around 4pm knowing check in was from 4-8pm. There was a sign on the reception window saying that there would be a member of staff at the site from 7-8pm - fine. We explored Pierrefonds and returned for 7pm. After 20 minutes of waiting we started to get worried. We tried the number it advised us to call in case no one was on site - it went through to a mobile that was sitting in the locked, vacant office. I left a message on their answerphone and sent an email. At 7.55pm we received a phone call - the keys for the cabin should be in the door. They weren't, we'd already checked. Five minutes later a very apologetic lady arrived, deeply embarrassed and let us in. God knows when the cabin was last used. It didn't smell fresh. It smelt musty, mouldy. They need to check the foundations for mould. Horrible.
Pros: The place was really nice. The beds were really comfortable The kids loved it.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Quirky, cute little place. Really quiet spot and perfect for visiting the castle.
Cons: The bed was really hard! And we didn’t get breakfast on the last day
