Pros: Location was fantastic. Restaurant and staff also.
Cons: The air con in the room was broken. They new this but did not tell us.
Pros: Great service and staff very nice and pleasant
Cons: Poor wifi
Pros: the room and view
Cons: Arriving at the car-park (the official address) it was not obvious where the entrance was, no signs to the entrance. When we suggested they but up a sign, for future customers, is was our fault that we parked at the car-park. (it turned out that the main entrance was on the other side of the building.) when we went to dinner the staff/owners where very "busy" with 2 other tables. We where pointed to a table where w could sit. later we where given a menu, but failed to ask if we would like to have a drink. After 20 mins of no attention. (dining room was less than 1/4 full) we decided that they did not "need" our custom and left. We where seen leaving, but again ignored! In the morning we did not feel like having breakfast (expensive) in the hotel and checked out. one owners (from the dining-room before was the one checking us out, was not interested in how our stay was. We she did not ask, we told her how we felt about our experience in the dining-room. We still had the impression that they could not care less. in 2 weeks of travel in a different hotel each night, this was the only hotel where we had bad service. (the least expensive one too) We base our hotel choises on reviews on the booking.com. and cannot understand why our experience is so different in this case. For the other hotels we stayed at our experiences more or less match the other reviews.
Pros: It’s worth the stay only for the hotel
Cons: Nothing! All has been exquisite from bedroom to the most amazing breakfast in a while
Pros: Nice and quiet balcony overseeing the lake Very modern and newly built room
Cons: Wifi is a pain
Pros: Very good breakfast buffet. Nice cuisine with character and interesting wines on offer. The lake allows for great views.
Cons: rooms are not so big, and the main "lounge" area is quite small as well. Maybe in summer there is more space outside. Quite expensive overall
Pros: Everything. Location, helpful staff, lovely clean, cool and nice size room with plenty of storage and hanging space.
Cons: The flies! (I understand it was because the grass had been mowed) however, still a big nuisance.
Pros: Fabulous hotel, restaurant is exceptional, completely renovated top to bottom- highly recommend location too- the lake is glorious- x country skiing all around for those interested

Pros: Fabulous room and a bathroom I’d love to have in my own home. Staff were friendly and attentive. Location is wonderful and quiet.
Pros: The breakfast was fabulous and the location would have been fabulous had the cascades not run dry in the drought! The staff were extremely helpful, providing corkscrew and glasses for own wine without charge.
Cons: A tea/coffee tray in the bedroom would have been nice, but having communal facilities did not spoil the stay.
Pros: The friendly and helpful hosts, the location, the breakfast and the great bathroom.
Cons: Difficult parking. Early check out.
Pros: The location of the property is walking distance to Lac d'Ilay which we enjoyed walking around and swimming in. The bedroom was very modern and clean. A nice outside area overlooking the waterfall.
Cons: Although the bathroom being separated from the bedroom via a partition was very modern and boutique, I would have preferred the toilet to be private from the bedroom. Both pizzerias in walking distance closed at 7pm, despite being advertised as being open until 9pm :(
Pros: Great location, friendly staff

Pros: Lovely crispy cotton sheets. Spacious room with 2(!) chairs. Great view of the waterfall from our window (we were upgraded for this room but at no extra charge) Charming, helpful staff. Good restaurant and not over-priced considering it had a captive clientele as it was miles from amywhere else.
Cons: No air-con and no fridge. Unfortunately we visited this hotel when the temperature hit 35°so the night was a little uncomfortable.
Cons: Shower head was like being hit with a water canon! From all directions! Otherwise all was fine!
Pros: Beautiful area and great hosts.
Pros: Location, size of the room, food quality
Pros: Large family room. Breakfast was sufficient
Cons: Mold in bathroom. The menu in the restaurant is too expensive for what you get and the food tasted awful. We had to wait for the menu and ask for drinks ourselves. After one hour! we got our food. The fish was disgusting dripped in oil. The filet was not well done and didn't taste well. The herb butter had a tasteless spinach taste. We asked for vegetables but my daughter got one tomato. And the salate aside is one leaf and a mini tomato. The waiters never look at you and after 2 hours we finally were ready and just had one drink.
