Room was fantastic. Hotel decor was very special. The hotel was very central. Amongst plenty of shops and restaurants.
Very good located, nice decorated and spacious room. We could park our motor gratis in a secured space. Good value for money. The breakfast should have a bit more variation.
Great location, close to restaurants and bars and in the historic part of Castres. V spacious room and bathroom. Quirky hotel! Whilst decor quirky it had seen better days. Room v dark but comfortable. Need to be aware that staff speak no english but with our limited skills we got by and friendliness compensated.
Convenient for town centre Layout of bathroom wrong. Toilet squeezed between radiator and wash basin with large empty space elsewhere
beautiful hotel, very large room and beautiful bathroom. the hotel is situatet in the centre of Castres, but quiet.
everybody was very kind and helpful
Hotel was fabulous and we absolutely loved it. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. The reception area looks like a film set. All good
It is a wonderfully eccentric old place and fun to stay at. It must be a nightmare to keep clean with all the "stuff" scattered about. (Get someone to dust under the beds more often!) Very pleasant helpful staff. I would like to stay on a Fri or Sat night to see if it livens up a bit. You do not stay here for the view from the bedroom!
The uniqueness of the hotel - very interesting!! A hotel bar was advertised and looked a lovely venue but there was no member of staff available to open it on request. 'Superior' (as in description of room given) was not a description I would use!!
Staff were very helpful, location great.
Great location; great value; helpful staff.
Hotel was very comfortable and relaxed. Both the staff and location are excellent
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was well located and was very quirky, far better than staying in a hotel chain.
A little difficult to find, they need a sign on both sides of the road.
Staff responsiveness No
comfortable and convenience of in hotel dining poor location and not aware that it was in an industrial estate outside Castres.Hotel restaurant closed Friday to Monday
Nothing, except that it was a place to sleep It is a cheap and nasty hotel, located in an industrial estate. It has no attractions for anyone other than a business traveller of a very tight budget. Its website and other promotional material gave no impression of how far it is from any amenities/attractions. Thoroughly disappointing experience, even at the value price.
nice room, good value for money
facilities like TV channels, kettle, heating system. staff and price. position good for shopping position: by the main road.
the pool and the easy access to the old town
Hotel is easy to find, has a very nice pool and a reasonable restaurant, which is handy because the town centre is too far to walk just for a meal and the along main road is not a particularly pleasant walk.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. A little out of town.
Superior hotel for a quick overnight stay, big room, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and even a swimming pool. A little more pricey than some chain hotels but good value for money if you want to ensure a good night's sleep. My only negative points are a) there was 1 tiny bar of soap and an impossible to open shower gel which was disappointing given all the other good points and b) the shower did not have an adjustable level/head direction, so pretty annoying when I wanted to wash my hair. These two points would cost peanuts to fix and then the hotel would be faultless.
Quiet, comfortable and friendly staff You could turn the heating down a bit.
friendly staff restaurant was very slow, was seated at table and left for 30 minutes without offer of a drink or being given menus. after complaint food was served quickly but was not hot enough. there did not appear to be any supervision, waiters busy but unfocussed.
Visited many of the surrounding villages, also two trips into Carcassonne to visit the old town and the town of Carcassonne. Also visited the coast. Very enjoyable. Our room had a separate toilet, which we considered to be very cramped and would be very uncomfortable for a large person.
Room was ok; restaurant was good fo the food (stunning entreés) also if a little bit expensive Nothing relevan
it was calm with helpful staff. the covered swimming pool ensured that the water was clean and warm. wasn't clear which rooms come with a terrace or balcony so had to pay a suppliment on arrival. in the ad it just said 'many rooms with terrace or balcony'.
Food; Friendly and helpful staff Lack of shower in bathroom
A nice hotel, build in an old stable. The restaurant serves delicious french food for a good price. The rooms are good, but not great. The swimmingpool was very cold, I think the heater was broken during our stay.
friendliness of the staff no
the staircase, and the food, but not as good with the previous owners. no tea/coffee making stuff in our room at least.
Good location, good option for anyone that is seeking a nice hotel to sleep during a business trip.
Reception staff were most accomodating. Rooms were spacous and modern. Comfortable beds and good food at dinner time. Breakfast was only adequate. We had to wait for provisions to be re stocked and there was insufficient attention paid to coffee replenishment.
Nice area in good weather. Regional menus. Nice pool. Interesting rooms. Well placed for exploring the area. Expensive menus with little or no choice. Expensive a la carte. Isolated postion in bad weather. Nearest restaurant outside the hotel was a long drive.
Fabulous food. Friedly and attentive staff. Wonderful setting overlooking river valley. Lovely pool, sun terrace & riverside gardens. Nearby fantastic views & historic interest. Gloomy room in cabin rather than hotel - but liked privacy & balcony. Bed very uncomfortable. AC noisey. Annoyingly were not told on arrival about interesting evening festivities in village - Logis hotels are supposed to specialise in this sort of information.
Excellent location with wonderful views for a relaxing short stay in the countryside. While located in a quiet spot our room would have benefitted from better sound insulation as we could hear someone snoring in another room
Room was nicely decorated and large. Bathroom was clean and large shower with clothes line built in. A/c in room. Free parking on site. Amazing gourmet meals and reasonably priced. Excellent buffet breakfast. Pretty location. Off the beaten path.
The position of the hotel is wonderful and the car park very convenient - although watch the blind hairpin when you cross the road! The hotel has great potential but fails on a number of points. The kitchen staff assemble each night after 11pm under the bedroom windows for a smoke and keep you awake with their chatter, the breakfast is meagre and coffe of poor quality, the inclusive half board dinner is barely edible, the walls between bedrooms are thin and when I asked to see the seminar room with a view to holding a business event there I was told it was not ready - and no offer was made to make it so.
The location is a little off the beaten track and hard to get to but stunning. The restaurant was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The decor is a little tired and in need of an update.
Relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff. Shower was broken, but worked. Air-conditioning unit was too noisy
Hotel location is beautiful and dramatic. Swimming pool and terrace outside the main hotel are excellent We had an annexe room which was adequate but cheerless and musty
lovely location on the Tarn river- pool a bonus, safe free parking, great photo opportunity. 200 yr old bldg so no lift, but 2nd level access at rear.
excellent yet relaxed manner of the staff not really but if you were staying longer than 3 days the menu would need to change
the hotel was very good friendly staff and the evening meals were very good nothing was to much trouble you would be no good without transport it is in a very pretty but isolated village 40 miles fron millau
good hostess, lovely room, great food, value for money
Superb quality from room furnishings to food . no twin bedded rooms available
Nice breakfast, pleasant staff, use of local pool should be advertised. No tea/coffee facilitesin room
It was quiet Dark, dank, dated and depressing
The room was a good size, staff were fine. The hotel is in need of a face lift, and food and drinks were expensive.
The meals were top class and the proprietior was very friendly and made you feel welcome his staff seem similarly motivated The Hotel is a little tired and looks as if its been extended iteratively our room was not too modernly fitted out although adequate. The glass door to the ensuite was a little quirky!! Not really anything to say that bad The hotel has perhaps tried to offer all facilities over a period of time some of which have become a little dated in the process.
beautiful village, good restaurant very old beds ,Owner very greedy person
dinner on the terrace (at the restaurant) quite a long way from Albi, which was where I had originally wanted to stay (but nothing available there)
Welcome; lots of leisure facilities, all free to use; friendly and personal treatment from staff; nice view Why no shower curtain?!!
The outdoor facilities
There was nothing to fault about the hotel. Rooms were fine, leisure facilities were very good and service was excellent. Wee bit of a hike up from the car park but at least it had one and it was free to use.
The staff were very helpful. Great waterslide for kids No air conditioning in rooms
