We were arriving late, they called us to welcome us and confirm our check-in with sincerity. The kitchen was closed, yet they offered to make us a light meal (which was very well presented and sent to our room). They showed us the room explaining all that it offers. Personal and warm hospitality was definately a strong trait. The rooms have there special names knit and hanged on the walls. We felt very comfortable as if we were hosted in our own homes as special guests. Spacious rooms with all needed necessities and beyond. Great value for the cost and an excellent stay. I would recommend the hotels to others and stay there again if I visit carcassone again. No
Everything was greathotel employee were so nice and welcoming. Fantastic Cheateau in a vineyard!Large comfortable rooms. Generous bathrooms. A/C.Eating yummy breakfast in the lovely courtyard.Would stay here again!Wonderful experience overall I only wish we had more time to spend around the Cheateau Le Vergel, especially to tour the winery.Needed GPS to find the place.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The dinner was extremely good with a nicely varied menu not to large tasty and well presented.I would suggest this hotel as a good stop for anyone
The friendleness and helpfullness of all staff. The high standard of the meals was far in excess of it's 2 Star rating. The pool could have done with being heated and seperate towels supplied for use at it.
Easy access to a wonderful area of countryside. Food was excellent for such a small hotel. Restaurant staff excellent and very hardworking. Not surprisingly, for a budget hotel, rooms are spartan and, if over the restaurant, very noisy when someone orders steak as the chef hammers it. Be sure to have a little French as the owners and staff have very limited English - but they are very willing to work with you to achieve understanding.
