Pros: Manager extremely helpful and room comfortable and quiet
Pros: The hotel managers were very helpful and accommodated everything we needed, particularly with their recommendations for eating places..excellent
Pros: Room quiet, bed comfortable, breakfast generous and good quality, shower good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Pros: Great location near the centre but quiet. Secure parking available nearby.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and professional. All their efforts show.
Cons: Entirely satisfied
Pros: The hotel is centrally located and convenient for restaurants. The owners are most helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and breakfast was fine.
Cons: Soundproofing, particularly between the room and the corridor is nonexistent, so prepare to wake up as neighbors head for breakfast.
Pros: Excellent staff, large comfortable room and bathroom, very clean and fresh, good breakfast, good location, able to park outside at minimal cost.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Very nice welcome, modern room, very clean. Perfectly situated between old town center and railway station.
Pros: With Villa Margotine Chambre d'Hotes you wont find much better for the price you pay, Excellent Host. A very good Restaurant nearby.
Pros: The landlady, the decor, the breakfast The level of care. Just about everything Martine is the most amazing hostess. Friendly, welcoming, full of info where to go, what to see. Breakfast was wonderful, served with smile when we wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble. Martine's English was a huge help for us as our French is practically non existent
Cons: We didn't want to leave
Pros: Location: walking distance to the center of Vichy (about 15 min). Quiet, safe place. The hostess live in the same house. Room: actually it is an apartment consisting of a large bedroom and a large bathroom joined by a small corridor. The apartment is separated from remaining part of the house by doors, so you have privacy. There are four electric sockets at the extension cable in the room, so there is no problem with charging everything. Bed: large and comfortable Bathroom: Large, with huge shower cabin with fancy shower. Plenty of space for toiletries. Breakfast: excellent. We had freshly boiled eggs, pancakes, fruits, fruit salad, yogurt, three different home made jams, croissants and tasty bread The hostess welcomed us with tea and coffee, she offered to cook dinner, but we were too tired. The hostess is warm and welcoming, we enjoyed a talk about Turner's colors on the sky and contemporary art. Parking on the street (free). Easy to find a parking place and the neighborhood is safe.
Pros: Host was lovely and super friendly. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Breakfast was yum.
Pros: Extremely comfortable and a fantastic breakfast.
Cons: Not applicable.
A stay at Brit Hôtel De Grignan places you in the heart of Vichy, within a 5-minute walk of Kennedy Park and Vichy Opera. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Very clean room.
Cons: Air con was poor at best and smokers near by made the opening of windows a no no. Other than that a good stay for a stop over in Vichy.
Cons: Shower was impossible to us without flooding the bathroom
Pros: Friendly efficient reception. Very large room beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Large modern bathroom. Refrigerator, iron and ironing board in the room. Secure parking right beside the hotel. Located walking distance to the main sites of Vichy. Very reasonably priced. This was arguably the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 weeks touring France. Simply superb. I can’t understand why it only rates 3 stars.
Cons: Nothing. This is superb hotel.
Pros: Black loo paper - what's all that about? Secure car parking. Helpful staff.
Cons: The road and pavement works all around the area.
Pros: This is a really good 3 star hotel. Fantastic value for money. Parking is available Position in town great for walking to see the sights
Pros: Breakfasts were consistently good
Cons: Surprised that air con was turned off because it was autumn. However they provided a fan.
Cons: It was a pity there were no facilities for a drink’
Pros: Great location, very friendly, helpful staff
With a stay at Maison Decoret in Vichy (Thermal), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Hall des Sources and Vichy Opera. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Vichy? This hotel has 753 square feet (70 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Loved it ALL!
Cons: The Volvic water! ( joking) we loved it!
Pros: Location, la cuisine and especially the small cookies 'pate sablee'.
Cons: bed turned out to be 2 singles put together, not comfortable at all, I slept much better in other hotels. In the 'rose' room the Aircon units are right outside on the balcony and make a lot of noise/blow hot air. For a pricey hotel like the Decoret is not acceptable. During breakfast I had to ask 4 times for baguette, untoasted, and somehow I ended up with toasted bread... Room and wine was overpriced, breakfast is better in a small cafe.
Pros: The food in the restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Pros: A small upscale property in a location that used to be great but lost it chic. Good property, but the restaurant comes first.
Cons: The quality of fit-out is below the target standard.
Pros: It has its own personal touch. The food was artistic. the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. They were not like those other big hotels who simply do their job.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike in this hotel.
Pros: Very understanding receptionist with good English.
Pros: A lovely room in an excellent place - more a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel. The Michellin Starred Restaurant is certainly not for anyone on a tight budget but if you can justify the cost, what a meal!! We indulged in the tasting menu and had one of the best meals of our lives.
Pros: The evening meal was quite excellent and we were well looked after. By the staff.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about
Pros: Lovely rooms. Great location. Fantastic restaurant

Pros: pet friendliness of the hotel
Pros: The garden was relaxing. The evening restaurant very good. Excellent breakfast
Pros: The staff are always friendly and the view from our room is amazing. The toiletries are of such a good quality there is no need to bring your own. The location is superb so only stay here when visiting Vichy.
Cons: The air conditioning was lacking. Although it worked, it did not work sufficiently well which led to us having to keep the curtains closed all day to try to keep the room cool. We didn’t report this to reception as the entire hotel was muggy so it appears to be a general problem with the air conditioning throughout the hotel.
Pros: Location amazing , restaurant wonderful, staff going above and beyond . Treatments are heavenly
Cons: Love everything
Pros: The bed extrat good
Pros: Staff were friendly.
Cons: Property needs renovation desperately. Pool area tired and dirty. No pool attendant to be seen at 4pm in the afternoon. Overall, very disappointing.
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and roomy, with a relaxed feeling. Le Bistrot restaurant was excellent, as was the lounge bar. It was nice that the guests had free access to saunas and the swimming pool. The hotel was well worth its price.
Cons: The room was a bit plain and didn`t have the same comfortable feeling as rest of the hotel. The bed was terribly soft and uncomfortable, and we did not sleep well in it. The treatments in the spa were not worth their price, and felt a bit unprofessional an uninspired.
Pros: Not much, however the room was quite comfortable.
Cons: The services in the bistrot was very slow...

Pros: the whole Chateau, its personal straff, the dinner, the rooms were perfekt;-)
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were very good
Cons: Overall decor was not good, particularly in an historic building. No bar.
Pros: Elegant and peaceful; well designed, roomy. Friendly staff.
Pros: Evening meal fantastic
Pros: Good food and wine and the best cheese board I have ever seen.
Pros: The whole place was just gorgeous, set in a lovely green area that you can walk around. The executive chef was just so helpful with the menu and his interaction with the customers was great to see. The food was outstanding, of the highest quality. The staff were friendly and very efficient. A definite place to stay if you are in the area.
Pros: The food and wine were excellent. The breakfast has local produce and is delicious
Cons: As per my previous reviews of this property, it is a pity the fence between the property and the moat has not been repaired which detracts from the experience

Pros: Location. Great deal.
Cons: No private parking. But parking on the street ok on a Saturday evening.
Pros: Staff very helpful looking after my bike in the gargage & helping me with access to it as and when i wanted to
Cons: Breakfast was expensive but they were accommodating & arranged breakfast at 4-30 am so we could eat before the ironman
Pros: Nice, comfortable hotel with a personal touch, in quite area but still close to center, park and river. Rooms not spacious but sufficient, Some with baccony.
Cons: Upon our arrival we were told that the restaurant ws fullly booked for that night. this was very dissapointing as we had specifically booked this hotel for the fact that it had a restaurant.
Pros: Generally friendly and helpful
Cons: The restaurant was full on the first evening - they hadn't suggested we book on arrival.
Pros: We booked 5 rooms at Les Nations and stayed for 2 weeks for the World Championship Water Ski races this past week... it was the cutest hotel in all of Vichy. The staff was beyond amazing, rooms were perfect. Great location! Nice restaurant down stairs and a very cute bar in the lobby. So glad we picked les nations for our trip.

Pros: Very friendly. Homely. Good breakfast.
Pros: An extremely pleasant, value for money place!
Pros: Best value for money at a truly perfect location. The room was spotless, albeit a bit hot for me at night. Wonderful clean sheets and towels daily and very quiet. The restaurant next door is wonderful. I went to Vichy to take French exams so the first three days were a bit pressing but after the exam I could explore and the Celestine’s Spa and river us but a short walk away. Did not use my car once.
Cons: No parking available so had to pay but the parking was reasonable and very safe and very close.
Pros: Lovely bathroom clean modern and spacious. Staff were very nice...all perfectly clean...friendly atmosphere . Breakfast was EXCELLENT...fresh delicious croissants..yogurt..fresh juice..fruit crusty bread and cheese
Cons: Lift seemed a bit unstable...bedroom v dark
Pros: Extremely clean and tidy rooms and bathroom, at a good price, excellent for a 2 star hotel! Tasty croissants and coffee for breakfast. Nice hotel location on a central downtown street within 10 min from the thermal sources and the mail shopping area, and just across the train station. Parking outside is free of charge after 18:00 and on Sunday.
Cons: No air conditioning in the room, but sleeping with open windows is problematic since the street is full of cafes and bars, thus very noisy until up to 4 a.m. on a weekend.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff and excellent restaurant
Cons: Noise when Lapdancing club next door closed.
With a stay at Hôtel California in Vichy (Cœur de Ville), you'll be a 5-minute walk from Thermes de Vichy and 6 minutes by foot from Hall des Sources. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Nice old style hotel. Clean and tidy, great host who spoke English.. lovely breakfast.. overall a nice stay in the city centre, ideal location.
Cons: The parking is on the street, not part of the hotel.(we had motorbikes and thought it was private parking).. So you may not get close to the hotel to park..
Cons: A bit old.......no air conditioning
Pros: The host is a wonderful man, creates a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, wholesome, well served. The rooms are clean and nice!
Cons: The wifi is slow :(
Pros: The familiy room was actually two rooms joined together with a bathroom in the middle. This gave us privacy and more confort. The area was very quiet at night, but central enough at thesame time. Everything was pleasant and well kept.
Cons: It as on a third floor without lift. Which is ok unless you are carrying lots of luggage or a dog that pulls a lot up and down stairs.
Pros: Bed very comfortable
Cons: I didn’t like not being able to open the window
Pros: Very goog quality for prize. Adequate location
Pros: Nothing in particular or maybe just the facade and some of the deco’s inside the villa
Cons: Matrasses were too soft, the floor made of wood and constantly making noise and when one person wakes up in the villa everyone else knows it, no sound isolation whatsoever. Check-in hour, 10pm does not cater for late runners, we had to drive like crazy on a stormy weather to arrive there on time. Lucky us, we’ve made it, but the reception desk had made sure to repeat we were not welcome after the closing time
Pros: nice welcome, good breakfast. nice clean facilities.
Cons: would have liked a room at the rear of the property if possible as I am a very light sleeper and needed the widows open to keep cool and the traffic noise kept waking me, but cannot blame the hotel for my sleep problem :)
Pros: Very good breakfast and excellent service
Cons: The double bed is a little small

Pros: We liked the personalised greeting. The hotel though old, had a refreshing, tasteful, modern decor, lovely good size bedroom with elegant bathroom. The beautiful breakfast and restaurant dining rooms overlooked the well appointed little garden with a pool! We enjoyed a delicious evening dinner served in their lovely very busy resturant and was well priced.
Cons: We were booked for three nights, many weeks ahead, to our surprise after being all settled in, on the second day, the owner pressurised us to pack up and move to another room for one night to please her favourite client! We were very busy with the Ironman event and said it was not possible... besides we felt insulted to be put in that dilemma.
Pros: Fantastic location in Vichy close by both the river and the old part of town. Pleasant and well fitted room, nice restaurant with good set priced menu and an excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Parking was not easy although free in nearby side street.

Pros: Good value for money and very pleasant staff. They called when I was late for checkin, were efficient and cheerful when I arrived.
Pros: Good central location
Pros: Breakfast quite basic. Only one boiled egg available and v cold as if from previous day. Not v appetising and not a lot of choice. Serving staff nice, though.
Cons: Not much choice. Quite a dull environment.
Pros: take a double, even if you are travelling alone. Nice that even though AC is missing and we had over 30 degrees, the inner yard was so cool and quiet I did not have problems sleeping. Location excellent, free parking at the Mairie.
Pros: The host is really kind The atmosphere of the room is sweet Everything is clean, new and equipped well
Pros: Great reception great location
Cons: The building needs TLC carpets need changing

Pros: Location, style, did what we needed.

Pros: We loved the location and the old world French feel. It wasn’t ‘posh’ but had character as well as having everything we needed, including a bar fridge and kettle. The staff were also friendly, all in all we had a wonderful stay!
Cons: We liked everything although we were in Vichy in the middle of a heat wave and because there was no air conditioning, it was rather warm.
Pros: The restaurant is high quality and great value both at dinner and breakfast. Breakfast especially had a huge selection and was constantly replenished. Safe, secured hotel parking is available (you need to reserve) opposite which is welcome in a city centre.
Cons: The decor in some of the rooms is a bit tired, chipped paintwork and stains on the carpets.
Pros: Good location in the town with adjacent car park for an extra 5 euros.
Cons: Small room with bedside light only on one side. Small cramped bathroom. Very hot with only a fan for cooling and quite a lot of road noise throughout the night - didn't get a lot of sleep.
Pros: See above

Pros: Quaint old epoch styling & hints of old-style grandeur (now fading unfortunately)
Cons: Sometimes too few staff for prompt service
Pros: Good situation
Cons: Dirty carpets and furniture, broken chair, peeling paint . No tea or coffee facilities in bedroom, in a town like Vichy not even a complimentary bottle of water. Welcome ok on arrival, definitely colder and limit polite on leaving in the morning.
Pros: Excellent breakfasts, beautiful old hotel with central location.
Pros: The room was large and comfortable
Cons: The bar staff were not always on duty so a cocktail by pool was not an option
