Pros: Three bedroom B&B run by a charming couple. Really helpful and loads of local knowledge. Super comfortable bed, good shower, room had a small terrace overlooking the hills. Bigger terrace below with loungers. Good breakfast and if given notice they will provide an evening meal (local restaurant options limited to pizzas, without travelling some distance). At the foot of the Mercantour national park with great walking, great views. PS - don't miss a quick visit to the church in St Dalmas - wonderful.
Cons: Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been nice, as would a second easy chair. And finding it, first time was beyond my navigation app's ability.
Pros: Excellent hospitality: perfectly designed and clean room/appartement, warm and friendly hosts Franck and Joëlle, serving delicious meals and helping us to arrive, with our clothing and places to visit. We had really lovely days!
Pros: Lovely apartment, well equipped and with great views from the terrace. Friendly, helpful hosts who cooked us a delicious meal on the 1st night. Very peaceful location, great for cycling (a long as you like going uphill!) and hiking. On the edge of a medieval village, with small supermarket, café etc
Pros: Very clean and very friendly with a spacious room and excellent organic breakfast. Excellent walking area and ask for the book! We loved watching the fireflies from the balcony and very clear view of the stars and planets. We would definitely return.
Pros: This is exactly what we needed: quiet place with stunning view, nicely decorated room and balcony, lovely hosts who take care of every little detail! The place is 20 mins driving from St Martin Vesubie, from where you have a lot of hiking itineraries commencement and where you have some restaurants.
Pros: Location, kindness of owners, silence
Cons: Ceiling too low on bedroom, difficult not to knock your head when you get out of the bed.
Pros: comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings and lovely hosts. the facilities were very clean and breakfast was good and all organic.
Cons: the nearest town didn't have many restaurants so you may need to drive out for dinner
Pros: Lovely chalet. Excellent host who was very helpful. No tea or coffee making facilities in room but this wasn’t a problem as we were given hot water etc whenever we needed it.
Cons: Everything about chalet was great. We went beginning of May which is low season so a lot of restaurants were closed. Bear this in mind if you go similar time of year as you’ll have to drive to St Martin Vesubie for dinner.
Pros: Beautiful newly refurbished house with wonderful hosts in a peaceful environment. Great stay with many hiking trails nearby.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at the Auberge and couldn't have asked for better hosts! We stayed one night after a gorgeous hike and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in the morning. The auberge is beautifully decorated and also feels very welcoming. We'd love to return! Merci beaucoup!

Pros: Fantastic chambre d'hôte with wonderful hosts who even did our laundry and refused to take money for it. Great breakfast and wonderful rooms.
Pros: The host was excellent. Gave great advice and recommendations which made the trip so much more interesting and enjoyable. Also made excellent meals.
Pros: So many highlights. The property was in a walled town. The owners could not have been more supportive recommending walks, providing packed lunch, recommending and booking restaurants. Our family room was newley fitted out and excellent, two showers and two bathrooms worked well for the 4 of us. Staying at this accommodation was the key to a very successful 5 day walking trip.
Cons: All was very good.
Pros: Very friendly owners
Pros: The owner/staff exceptionally helpful.
Pros: The breakfast prepared by Sonia was amazing, she adapted to our schedule to go hiking in the early mornings. She was really helpful and provided a lot of tips and maps for hiking in Mercantour National Park and she also recommended and booked restaurant for us when we arrived after a long trip. The place is really quiet and have an amazing view of the sunrise.
Pros: The fact that the hostess made us welcome in both French and English. Also she was generally helpful, pointing out places of interest in the area and answering our questions. The breakfast was good with a variety of options and prepared at a time to suit us. The room and general facilities were clean, comfortable and spacious.
Cons: We would have liked a few more facilities within walking distance in the village. There was only one place open for meals in the evening with a menu limited to Pizzas.
Pros: You can sit outside for breakfast and watch the view Very friendly place and property owner Great location Would go back there again
Cons: You cannot park outside, need to park about 5min away
Pros: One of the best places we've stayed at. Breakfast was amazing and you know it was really cooked and prepared for you. The lady was super nice and cool and gave good recommendations for activities and food. The room was very beautiful and quaint. My wife Can't stop gushing at it. Good place for a base to visit the area !
Cons: Nothing, we found what we expected.
Pros: The host was very nice. Our room was very clean and cozy, we had a nice view of the snowy mountains. Breakfast was also very good with local/homemade products.
Cons: From the description I did not understand that even though the bathroom is private it is not an ensuite. It was still very nice but I would have liked to know this before booking.
Pros: This place was magnificent! We stayed in a separate studio which was renovated recently and very clean with a comfy bed. Pros: The location was amazing, the room was lovely. The evening meal was delicious and a great experience. A really special evening. The owner was really helpful. If you in a car or on a motorbike do not miss this.
Cons: We cycled 70 miles over the passes to get to the hotel. On arrival at 3pm we asked for some food, just bread or something and we were told it was not possible and the only option was a bowl of olives. The hotel is one hour by bike to the nearest shop. We found this attitude frustrating when the hotel clearly had a kitchen full of food.

Cons: I wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: A true secret getaway on top of the World
