The staff was extremely accommodating. We arrived during a terrible winter storm, but the owner called us beforehand to warn us of the weather and power outages in case we wanted to take refuge elsewhere. When we arrived staff were waiting with a lantern and extra blankets. We had a very large bathroom, kitchenette and dining room, and a very large bedroom with a small sitting room. Lots of room for our group of four adults. 10/10 would book again.
Lovely B&B, tastefully frunished, with a lovely backyard. The familly suite is huge with 2 single beds and one king size bed. There is also a billiard and some toys for the kids. The owner, Danielle, is a lovely women, full of good advice and extremly freindly. Just perfect
The island, the setting and the view were beautiful. Room was old, smelled musty, beds were hard and uncomfortable.
Location, remoteness, views Hotel reception staff not very pleasant
the view of st-laurence river No Wi-Fi
Friendly receptionist. Indoor swimming pool cold water. Attract people with seemingly low cost room but expensive meals.
Our hostess-owner Claire was friendly, warm, and ready with suggestions for dining and touring the Charlevoix area. Spacious room and bath with all amenities. The host-owner Regis is a chef and cooked wonderful breakfasts to order. Location is ideal for touring the region. We would stay here again. This hotel is a work in progress. The owners bought the place in March 2010. The gardens and grounds are still bare, but they have plans for lawn, trees, etc. The location is on a highway, with some traffic noise, though not enough to disturb a good night sleep. You need a car to get here from town.
Excellent comfort and high quality of the furniture. Charming staff and kind personnel. The hotel location is not top level and the price is too high
ITs so cute from the outside.........and center of all the action in town. Great restaurant ....and a wonderful curb appeal. I felt the room was tired.and outdated. The bedspread was from the seventies.\.and it didn't feel fresh and crisp. Bed squeeked against the wall. I felt for the money, except for location, was no deal.Outside curb appeal doesn't match indoor tiredness.
