comfort, great food and drink, the staff gave me and my friend english menu when they saw us struggle with the french one. overall brilliant
Thethe food and the staff in the resturant were excellent Hetel room was very basic and noisy
The modern decor and the excellent restaurant.
Not bad!! Very convenient!!
Location for the main routes is excellent It is a long walk to the town centre
New hotel in Gueret
Convinent location for our needs
Clean and practical bed and bathroom. free parking, good restaurants nearby Breakfast was slightly in disorder; too many guests at once; no bread for 10 minutes
A very large room - there were four of us but there was plenty of room for us all. A newly built hotel? Seemed like it. Very clean and comfortable.
The hotel was clean and modern and the staff were very friendly and accomodating
A new well maintained hotel but on the edge of town. OK for overnight stop with a restaurant opposite.
A beautifully restored chateau style hotel with beautiful features. A lovely room, clean and airy. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner was excellent and good value for money. Lovely swimming pool.
Excellent food and very good value for the money. a beautiful restored farm building, to a very high standard. We did stay on a cold night in January, but the dinning area could have been warmer.
Excellent hotel and accommodation, beautiful terrace/garden/pool and extremely reasonable price - I would except to pay over £80 a night for this in the uk None
Owner allowed late check-in well after normal time None
Beautiful hotel which is nicely renovated with good clean nice rooms The food was not what we expected, some items were directly fried coming from the freezer and were not fresh.
Excellent waitress, efficient but unobtrusive. Some of the tiling in the shower room was loose/cracked.
Very clean. Great atmosphere. Excellent quality and value for money in restaurant.
The building was tastfully restored and we had a pleasurable short stay. Breakfasts were a little one dimensional and with most people passing through and therefore on a schedual could have been more adaptable.
A very quirky building. Lovely public spaces. Our room was delightfully furnished. Great bathroom with a large shower. Good food at a very reasonable price. Deep in the country but handy for the motorway too.
I was able to take my cat into the room with me. Efficient service. Room was warm Excellent chef - very tasty food At time of booking there was no confirmation that I could take a pet intot he hotel with me,. It looked like an unco-ordinated automated response to my r4equest, which was most unhelpful. There were no directions to the hotel on the booking form or website. Unhelpful, but luckily I had a road atlas with me and was able to find it on that.
The peace and quiet
Comfortable hotel with a good selection of menus for all tastes and pockets
Lovely location. Relaxing atmosphere. Gardens, including vegetable garden were very nice. Staff were helful but not overbearing. Liked the hordes of swallows on the roofs. Wifi only worked downstairs.
Super! Very quiet, very convenient location, easy to reach.
You couldn't hear other people showering next door. Quite small, but excellent value for money.
It was a hot day (30degC) and we were put on the hot side of the hotel, when there were spare rooms which had not had the sun on them all day. The room was stifling and remained so all night.
Fair price, easy check-in, clean, nice breakfast Arriving late (22:30) gives no possibility to eat outside, except in mcDonalds, because the nearby city is dead
Very pleasant, helpful staff, comfortable room. No restaurant facilities in the hotel or town an a Sunday night.
Ability to come and go direct bto room without entrances and corridors. Bang head on overhead bed.
Parking near to room. Lots of bugs around our room and the light outside, (all over the entrance door).
Free wifi It was basic but fair value
The setting is stunning. The food and staff are superb. We wiull visit the restaurant again. The room was shabby and in need of refurbishment. Worn carpets, walls amateurishly painted in a garish green colour. Showerroom facilities sufficient and well laid out- again some attentions needed such as fixing the tap to the basin.
Good food, friendly staff. Very poor room in the price band we paid.
Evening meal, new bath room but the shower head was broken, the road out of this place. On arrival the room smelt strongly.( I have no sence of smell so it must have been bad. The sheets and towels had not been changed (although I was there at 0930). I was very tired after drving all night and it would have been cleaner for me to sleep in my car outside this place. The entire place needs an urgent visit from a hotel inspector, to see if it should still be holding international guests. In the morning the breakfast was a pre packed buffet with no fresh cheese or meat with rolls. The staff didn't even cme u to you to see if you were ok, as soon as you pay you are out the door. The views are not as good as in the picture, it is like a back street , 1960's bedsit in a rough part of london, do not bother with 8 euro for breakfast.
Striking position with superb views from the room and terrace where we had a most enjoyable meal
