Pros: Delightfully warm welcome, complimentary champagne on arrival, spacious double room, comfy bed, quality bathroom, super fluffy croissants and homemade jams, charming helpful hosts, set in a picturesque hilltop town 5stars all round
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect
Pros: Oxana & Stephan were fabulous hosts. The room was very comfortable and perfectly presented. Breakfast was delicious - particularly with her home made jams!
Pros: Very nice room. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: We were in transit from Toulouse when we stumbled upon this hidden gem, conveniently located in a very peaceful ramparts of the bastide town of Tournon D'Agenais, Lot and Garonne. The views from the property are amazing. As they say in business, the devil is in the detail. In the case of Casa Pertuiz the latter is in abundance. The rooms are tastefully decorated, pristine with superbly appointed, quality furnishings. The beds are super plush and sleep inducing. The shower modern, hot and functional. Within ten minutes of arrival, a very, welcome chilled glass of local wine with canapes was delivered to the room. Thoughtful gestures create lasting holiday souvenirs and referrals to friends and relatives. Oksana produces a breakfast, which is a joy to behold. Hot fresh buttery croissants, artisan baguettes, brioche, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt and a selection of local cheese. The "piece de resistance" however was the selection of home made jams produced from locally grown fruit. The chestnut flavoured honey was sensational. Oksana and Stephane are internationalists, naturally engaging, very welcoming and born mine hosts, who clearly demonstrate a desire to please their guests. In conversation, we learned that a very modest Stephane had been World Triathalon Champion on three occasions. Clearly his competitive spirit is alive and visibly in operation in his chambres d'hote The good news is that they are planning to open more rooms of similar standards. Next time we will not hesitate to book directly with them. We wish Casa Pertuiz the continued success, which it so richly deserves.
Pros: Interior design nicely fits the rustic ambience of the town. Excellent filling breakfast. Hosts very patient and kind due to the language barrier.
Cons: The lack of facilities. The majority of the listed facilities when we booked were not available. The information is either way out of date or grossly incorrect. The current hosts have only been here for two years so maybe the information is from the previous owners. (ie: Apart from access to the kitchen for breakfast and the beverages at breakfast, water is the only available drink at the property from the bathroom. Certainly no microwave or beverage facilities in the room.) Parking appears to be free throughout the whole village but not "private", as in secure within property boundaries. And tennis courts??
Pros: Charming hosts, elegant and comfortable room in a classic limestone house. Champagne. Breakfast of croissants and a baguette that Stefan had driven miles to get, home made jams, fruit juices- all delicious. Enjoy!

Pros: Extremely welcoming hosts, lovely period rooms and great location with on site parking.
Pros: Beautiful place in the village of Puy-l’Évêque. Historic house tastefully decorated with old furniture and rich textiles. James and Di are welcoming and friendly hosts with good knowledge of the local area. Breakfast is fresh from the bakery next door with fruit and cereal options. It was the middle of a heatwave when we were there so air conditioning means windows wide open at night and closed in the day. Nature’s air conditioning!
Pros: It was a pleasure to meet the hosts they were very welcoming and friendly, the house is very close to the river which has abundant wildlife and fish it would make an excellent place for a fishing holiday or for walking, the village has everything that you could need for a very good holiday,I look forward to returning one day soon.
Pros: Lovely hosts! I felt very welcome and had really nice contact with James and Diane. They went out of their way to give us a nice time. That, along with the presence of other guests who where just as lovely, I had a better time than I could have imagined upfront. The building is beautifully decorated and kept and the whole place has a romantic, old French atmosphere to it. I warmly recommend this accommodation to everyone.
Pros: Beautiful house in gorgeous town. So sorry we only stopped for one night. Easy walking to great restaurants, couldn’t have asked for more.
Pros: Thank you James and Diane for welcoming us into your home. You are superb hosts and we really enjoyed our stay with you. The accommodation is very near the main river crossing in Puy, close to many good restaurants and on the edge of the historic medieval city. Our room was large, comfortable and well equipped as was the shower room. The bed was comfortable and the room overlooked the garden. Breakfast was served at a time convenient for us and was fresh bread and croissants with conserves and fruit to accompany yogurt and cereals. An added bonus was off street parking but it would have been easy and safe to park anyway. The owners were knowledgeable about the area and we ate at two of their recommendations and were very happy with the quality and service. We look forward to returning to stay with you again.
Cons: There were no negatives
Pros: A sensationally beautiful house and garden impeccably furnished in a glorious location close to the river and within easy strolling distance to great bars and restaurants. James and Di are the perfect hosts, and we so appreciated the beautiful quality of the breakfasts, the excellence of the room, super comfortable bed, top of the range bedlinen. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt very well looked after. Five star in every way.
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: Wonderful hospitable Hotel in the ancient building. Rooms - spacious, cozy, convenient, stylish. To be in them - full pleasure. A beautiful view from windows. In the neighboring building - a bakery, in two minutes of walking - the bridge from which the tremendous unique view of the village which at night, besides, also is very beautifully lit opens. Owners are very pleasant, benevolent and charming people.
Cons: It is absent, everything was pleasant.
Pros: Loved the room and having our own teapot with milk. Loved the proximity to town. Loved Archie. Diane & James. Such inviting hosts! The breakfasts were just perfect. Ample parking. Beautiful garden out back for relaxing, reading or eating. Such a delightful setting!
Cons: The bags of garden trimmings in the back garden
Pros: Very atmospheric house, with excellent hosts.

Pros: Good location, at the foot of the bastide. Large, comfortable room. Good breakfast (confitures maison).
Cons: Sadly the restaurant was closed during our stay, and we had to go elsewhere in the evenings.

Pros: The house we stayed in was adorable-Bilbo Baggins would be happy there (huge compliment). Wonderful French breakfasts were delivered to our door each morning with all items from the farm, including fruit. Also loved that they served a set 3 course dinner for an added fee so if you didn't want to leave, you didn't need to. All products raised on the farm served outdoors in their lovely garden. Delish! Compliments to the chef. We were told that we were the first American paying guests but certainly not to be the last. We encourage others to enjoy the experience.
Cons: We want to applaud the owners for being eco-minded and organic in their approach to farming and husbandry. This even went as far as treatment of the pool. Chemical treatment was abandoned in exchange for a pond filtration system which might not be to everyone's liking.

Caday Rouge is a beautiful 1900's Stone Manor House accompanied by a 19th Century Quercy Stone Farmhouse and Barn (dating back to 1862). These are set within 2 acres of mature, well-kept tranquil gardens, hosting a large, heated, saltwater swimming pool, a gym and a games room. These all nestle peacefully among delightful gardens and the serene countryside. This year the property has been fully restored to its original beauty and is now ready for 2016. There is an abundance of wild birds and river wild life, as we are only a stone's throw from the River Lot, which runs behind the cottage. A must for any keen fisherman, as the River Lot is known for its good carp fishing. There is a bike path, one of many in this area that runs right passed the cottage, or you can walk on rambling routes and take in some of the breathtaking views.
