With a stay at this vacation home in Deshaies, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 6 minutes by foot from Grande Anse Beach. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Located in Deshaies, Hotel Au Ti Sucrier is by the sea, a 1-minute drive from Leeward Islands and 7 minutes from Deshaies Botanical Garden. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: -The owners were very friendly and helped us a lot with organizing. -The garden is extraordinary beautiful. -The pool area is wonderfully located with quite a view. -The room was very spacious and the small kitchen is outside and very beautiful. - The beach nearby was nice.
Cons: - The room was cleaned only every third day. -There was no restaurant in the hotel or nearby (walking distance) which was open in the evening. -We were charged for a small missing towel: quite inapropriate compared to the room price.
Pros: friendliness and helpful hotel management. beautiful location. lovely terrace with view of the sea.
Pros: Make sure to arrive with your own car. The best beaches are not within walking distance.
Cons: The beds are extremely hard.
Pros: The location is superb, 2 minute walk to our favorite beach, 1 minute walk to bakery. Staff are super nice, and made us feel really welcome (and owner Paola speaks very good English, which was nice for us). The outside kitchen/family room and deck had amazing views, and we loved starting our day there with breakfast and then watching the sunset after a fun filled day. Top notch reefs for snorkeling on both sides of the beach, and close to great activities like botanical garden, rain forest hikes, volcano, chocolate museum, and more. Deshaies is 5 minutes away by car if you crave some more upscale dining options. We had originally wanted to be in Deshaies, but so glad we picked Ferry instead (beach!). We'll be back!
Cons: Nothing major, but if you like to cook on your vacation, the cook top only had one burner large enough for serious cooking. We made do by "serial cooking" which was fine since we were on vacation :)
Pros: The location was perfect and allowed easy access to beautiful beaches and snorkeling nearby. The outdoor kitchen and dining with the lush gardens around was beautiful. The pool and its view were amazing. The large common area deck offered fantastic views. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The cats were very cute.
Cons: There were a lot of noises from the plumbing pipes and the air conditioning unit. We didn’t run our ac much but the neighbors did. This may not pose an issue with other rooms as the air con unit was right behind our room. The room was decently clean but there were areas that could have had more attention. It is rustic so don’t expect a luxury resort. Just a general comment about staying in Guadeloupe...smoking is allowed everywhere. There was no smoking inside these rooms so that was good. There was smoking at the pool.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Paola contacted me when I booked and suggested i rent a car, and recommended a car rental place who were fantastic. Having a car was necessary as there was not much in the immediate area. I really appreciated the hotel policy of not servicing rooms on a daily basis (unless requested) which shows a great commitment to the environment.
Pros: Perfectly situated in Basse Terre, wonderful view over the sea, safe and sound for children, much quieter then Grand Terre, quite close to the starting point of extra activities. And best of all ... Paola and Bruno
Pros: .Amazing view, beautiful and tranquil place, wonderful host, and great location
Pros: Fabulous garden. Nice pool. Spacious rooms and terraces with kitchens and views - heavenly! Scrupulously clean. Quiet and relaxing. Lovely beach 2 minutes walk away, 5 minutes drive to Dehaies , fantastic beaches, botanical gardens.
Cons: Kitchen adequately equipped but dated. If you're looking for TV and mod cons look elsewhere - this place is all about nature and relaxing.
With a stay at Le Saint Georges in Le Gosier, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 13 minutes by foot from Plage de la Datcha. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly hosts & clean, comfortable accommodation. Everything was perfect.
Pros: A very nice place, but a bit difficult to find.
Cons: Difficult to find at night.
Pros: Very very nice room, charming host minutes from the beaches.
Pros: Christian is the perfect host.
Pros: Very nice, friendly, comfortable apartment.
Cons: Breakfast was nice, but pretty spare
Pros: The host was beyond accommodating and helpful. As we dropped off our rental car at the airport, he aided us for a small fee by offering to pick us up and drive us, as well as driving us to our next stay when we checked out. Also, at the day of arrival, he showed us around and pointed out some good restaurants and the beach in Le Gosier, which was very nice. The room we stayed at was also very cosy and clean.
Cons: The neighborhood in Le Gosier between the place we stayed at, and the beach did not feel too safe at dusk. Which meant we shied away from visiting the restaurants in the evening. We therefore ate out during lunch instead, and cooked ourselves during the evenings.
With a stay at Habitation du Comté in Sainte-Rose, you'll be on the boardwalk, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 11 minutes by foot from Plage Mambia. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was continental but adequate and very well presented. Service was very friendly.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Pros: Beautiful room, beautiful garden, lovely breakfast. The view from the balcony of the room was amazing.
Cons: It's a good place to have a rest, at the same time the place felt a bit deserted (I think we were the only guests at one point and the villa is quite big), so it depends on what you're looking for if this is the right place.
Pros: The hotel was very comfortable. The best thing was the dinner in the restaurant. The food was fabulous, well cooked and presented.
Cons: There was good service but not enough staff. The poor person working alone to serve the whole hotel was very efficient but we felt sorry for them having to work so hard yet still making people wait for everything. It was not their fault.
Pros: Amazing place. Cost wasn’t an issue for us and I initially went for a more expensive hotel but at the other side of the island. Then looked at restaurants and decided to be near Deschaies so moved to this one. So pleased we did. Superb staff and amazing food. The cottage had two bedrooms both with baths and ideal for two couples. Also had a kitchen and plunge pool. Rooms in main house very spacious and lovely balconies with fridges. They don’t speak much English but if we managed to get by, so will anyone. If we come back we will definitely stay here.
Cons: Nothing.....loved everything!
Pros: Really good food and peaceful location
Pros: The entire staff really cared about us having a good stay. Location was sensational. Was easy to get to beaches, snorkeling, grocery, towns. The facility was great- room was very comfortable with balcony overlooking pool and comfy bed. Grounds were well landscaped and very quiet. Restaurant was popular with both guests and locals. Food was expertly prepared especially the fish.
Cons: Google maps led us to wrong location (in center of Saint Rose) so was hard to find it the first night. If you type in the address directly into google map then it can find the location.
Pros: Lovely staff, very comfortable bungalow with a private outdoor kitchen and small pool--made for easy family travel. Our meals at the restaurant were delicious. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: It was a little far from the beaches but we had a car, of course, so it was no problem. It's a very small hotel so if you're looking for a resort-like stay, this wont be the place for you (we were not, and were pleased).
Pros: The woman who greeted us was so friendly and welcoming! The room was stunning, especially the balcony. We loved breakfast on the patio, and walking through the grounds. A wonderful place to stay.
Cons: To find this place you must drive down a street with some construction and empty lots, it's a little unsettling, but the signage for Habitation du Comté is very clear, which I appreciated.
With a stay at La Toubana Hôtel & Spa in Sainte-Anne, you'll be on the waterfront, just steps from Leeward Islands and a 1-minute drive from Plage Caravelle. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location / beach / breakfast
Cons: Wifi / late check out not available.
Pros: Property is good, good style, good location
Cons: Dirty rooms, a lot of hairs at floor, unprofessional staff, we are traveling with the dog and nobody told that it’s cost 50€ per/stay. This information comes only in final bill. Breakfast is terrible. My wife has omelet with hairs, and me has problems with stomach next 24h.
Pros: Great having a beach right there. Excellent food. Separate bungalow.
Cons: The management doesn’t respect the guests privacy. The director conducted a tour for someone into our bungalow area while we were there without any prior notice. A real no-no as hotels should put privacy and discretion first.
Pros: All the facilities
Pros: I was satisfied.
Pros: So glad we chose La Toubana. We booked a 2 bedroom suite which turned out to be a little house with all the facilities. Absolutely perfect, comfortable and well decorated. Beautiful beach and pool area,. Staff wonderful and friendly.
Cons: Restaurant menus in the restaurants were a bit limited. We hired a car and lots of good restaurants locally.
Pros: Lovely private beach

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The gardens and the general ambience. There was ample space at this time of the year. The staff at the reception was helpful and spoke English! The location is great. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The food was not that great in the hotel (try D'lys tropical instead, up the street), the waiting staff was not very attentive, it was hard to communicate sometimes even when asking for a simple thing like coffee with milk. Our room with sea view had a very tiny balcony at which you could only stand so we could not really sit out and enjoy the view.... do not pay extra money for that unless you have seating in your balcony. The AC was not strong and the wifi did not really work..... People including guests were unfriendly.
Cons: 1) food poisoning 2) one day with no water in bathroom
Pros: Breakfast was amazing and a nice perk to have it included in our stay
Cons: when i booked this i was told that the staff spoke English which wasnt true. it was very hard to communicate . we had asked several times for another conversion plug but we were always told that they were out it was very hard to keep our electronics charges sharing one plug
Pros: It was a quiet hotel with a nice beach. The room was a bit small but very confortable
Cons: The reception staff was only one person and took us long time to make the checking out
Pros: The beach. The beautiful view from my room..
Cons: The A/C on the top floor could have been a little colder..
Pros: Private beach
Cons: Not very clean, with cockroaches running around the resort! Even in the restaurant. I understand it is a hot climate but the size and number of them was concerning. Our room key did not work due to the electronic monitor on the door being faulty. Even when “fixed” it still failed. The staff are not friendly and the food is not worth the money. Very basic hotel for a 4 star rating.
With a stay at Mahogany Hôtel Résidence & Spa in Le Gosier, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Leeward Islands and a 2-minute drive from Plage de l'Anse Tabarin. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Pros: Good bar, pool and beach!
Cons: The complex is so big, that service (cleaning and general help) is slow and not efficient enough.
Pros: The area was of along with the pool environments
Cons: The service and the staff was terrible
Cons: Open buffet Dinner was not good In the room no cabinet of shower. After the shower the water was even flowing inside of the room. The wifi connection in the room almost no aignal. Wifi works mainly at reception.
Cons: The twin beds ! Regardless of our request for a double bed we were stuck with two tiny twin beds not the most comfortable No electric outlet in the kitchenette (difficult to make use of the toaster, kettle, coffee maker) The use of the spa non being included in the charges.. The area outside of the hotel
Pros: Great Buffe 5 star
Pros: Beautiful central space with great jazz music. Gorgeous restaurant carved into a cliff above the sea. One of the few places where people speak English if that is important (though not everyone-try learning French if you come here!)
Cons: The buffets we’re a bit underwhelming, better to go to the restaurant, and you have to hold the on button the entire time you are using the hair dryer. Towels were a bit thin and worn.
With a stay at Hôtel La Maison Créole in Le Gosier, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 9 minutes by foot from Plage de l'Anse Tabarin. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good location for airport though we were charged $35 for morning taxi trip at 5:45am after being told it would be $30. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros: *Good value for a quick one night stay before an early flight. *Clean room and comfortable bed. *Easy 10 minute walk to a few local restaurants.
Cons: *Rooms were clean but the decor was a little dated and sterile.
Pros: Breakfast was very good, friendly staff, nice garden with birds.
Cons: Relative to other accommodation and location seemed a bit expensive

Pros: I like the beautiful garden and the free roaming cats. I love that there is a pool available 24/7 and that it is cleaned. I love the patios. Breakfast was filling. Host was friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for me and my girlfriend. The air conditioner worked and made our night comfortable. There is a small working refrigerator which we used to store our pastries from a nearby bakery. There is one restaurant in a walk able distance from the hotel that we really enjoyed called New Ti Paris.
Cons: I would appreciate if there was a few amenities like an iron and hair blower.
Pros: The pool was a nice feature.
Pros: Nice setting, confortable bed,
Cons: Staff. On the day we arrived, the man who welcomed us have been drinking, almost got angry and rude because he could not find our reservation (then found it), and was not friendly at all. We have never been treated like that before! Even the second day he talked and behaved as if he was doing a favor of hosting people in his hotel.
Pros: Pool was warm and clean. Bertram very friendly. Enjoyed having breakfast with other guests. Met some interesting people. Shower hot and powerful solar heated.
Cons: Would have liked more choice for breakfast not just coffee and baguette
Pros: wifi. pool. coffee. garden
Cons: space for luggage. location more central. nearby restaurants
Pros: Florence was a welcoming host. The property and outside living space were very nice. It was a quiet, friendly oasis in an area of impersonal high rises. Downside: the room (standard) was extremely small for two people. I'd get the larger one next time. I would definitely return.
Cons: A litre of water would be nice. The air "freshener" smell absolutely reeked!
Pros: Great garden and pool.
Cons: Pls. note that not all rooms have a (shared) kitchen. French speaking guests seem to be preferred.

Le Gosier is 5 km from the accommodation, while Sainte-Anne is 18 km away. The nearest airport is Pointe-à-Pitre Le Raizet Airport, 6 km from Racoon Lodge.
Pros: Needs to be updated or price reduced
Cons: Everything was outdated, too expensive for what you get
Pros: We loved the decor, and the hostess was very informative and knowledgeable about the area. She also speaks both French and English. This place was quite close to the airport, and we had an early flight.
Cons: The entrance to their parking area is off the highway.
Pros: Angela ist a very special host. We were welcomed in a very warm and familiar manner. Thanks for taking us out the first night
Pros: The owner is 200% kind and smiling. The place looks gorgeous, racoons are the most sweet animals in the world, I think. Near this place (a few minutes by a car), is marina with restaurants and boats. It is also near the connection of the two islands, so it is easy to move everywhere. The owner is also very helpful with getting familiar with things to see and trip advices.
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Signage to property could be improved
Pros: Great host, great location and the best nights sleep in the most comfortable bed I have had in a long time. Merci Angela!

Villa - Duzer offers a terrace. Le Gosier is 36 km from the accommodation, while Sainte-Anne is 49 km away. The nearest airport is Pointe-à-Pitre Le Raizet Airport, 29 km from Villa - Duzer.
Pros: It was clean and Donny seems nice.
Cons: It’s been really difficult to find this place. I really really wanted to love it, but having spent more than an hour driving around. The breakfast was also disappointing as I had high expectations following everyone else’s review on this.
Pros: Personal were honest, accomodation was clean and without problem.I can recoment it.
Cons: Mentioned location on the booking is bad, sent map is not exact.
Pros: Good location and nice owners.
Cons: It is hard to find the place, you need to call the owner. There is no dishes.
Pros: Amazing breakfast including fresh juice. I would really recommend any guests to let the owner explain how to get to the Villa - Google Maps lie about the location, and we ended up somewhere else. Both the room and the bathroom modestly equipped, but we did not miss anything. An outside kitchen was a nice place to make dinner after a long day.
Pros: Great value for money - very friendly lady that lives in the house below this loft type conversion. Property was very clean and spacious with fridge, cooker and private lounge.
Cons: Only downside it’s its located about 10mins up a dirt track off the main road which is quite steep and the taxi drivers were hesitant to drop us off there. Make sure you take food as there’s no where to walk to; to get supplies although the owner did kindly offer to send her son to the supmarket for us.
Pros: Very nice landlady provaded excellent service.
Cons: Location far up a dirt road. Own car important to be able getting to and from the location. Landlady acted as a driver for us since we had ni car.
Pros: Was all good
Cons: To have to clean and take care of garbage but this is probably common in Guadalupe No ocean view
With a stay at Canella Beach Hotel in Le Gosier, you'll be on the waterfront, just steps from Leeward Islands and a 2-minute drive from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location, beach side
Pros: We stayed one night. the room was at the best place I think. restaurants and small supermarket are very close to the hotel which we liked a lot. If you like to enjoy watching sun set, the beach of the hotel is on the excellent location. the room was very clean and well maintained.
Cons: WIFI conection was not so fast we wanted. taxi which the hotel coordinated for us costed us 40 euros to airport which I seem very expensive the explanation of the driver was that it was because early in the morning, AM0630, of sunday. I don't know if it was fair or not, because two persons of the hotel told me that it might cost around 30 to 35 euros because of sunday... the beach is beautiful as it seems but it is white sand filled beach. considering the price of the room, I would say it is a bit overpriced.
Pros: The beach in front of the hotel was very nice. The room was incredibly spacious.
Cons: The breakfast was very general. The birds and cats wondering turned off the appetite pretty quickly.
Pros: Nice staff, private Beach, swimming pool and restaurant in front of the beach. Quiet and relaxing. Good value for mone6
Pros: Pleasant hotel, nice room. Breakfast ended early, and as I had arrived previous midnight I had not checked times and came too late. However, breakfast was still provided by staff with a smile.
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous and lots of variety. Location was great to get to the airport. Staff was vert helpful.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't really like.
When you a stay at Auberge de la Vieille Tour in Le Gosier, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Leeward Islands and Plage de l'Anse Tabarin. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Gorgeous place, not crowded, close to activities and downtown, Secure, great restaurant and view. Lots of intimate places
Pros: Good location. Easy to get there from the airport and parking on-site. Several restaurants nearby (walking or driving). Very pretty facilities and great view from breakfast area
Cons: Breakfast was very chaotic. A lot of items were not refilled regularly and I had to ask for a coffee cup at the bar since there were none at the coffee table. Room was fairly basic for the high price.
Pros: The hotel has breathtaking views and a very nice beach. Beds are super comfortable and the rooms have a good size. The highlight was one young lady of the breakfast team, which tried her very best to provide a nice service. Thank you!
Cons: Very nice location, but the hotel is aged and needs renovation. Breakfast was really neglected. The floor was so sticky, you nearly lost your flip flops. Birds fly to the tables and buffet and eat the left over... really not appetising. If your plane is delayed like mine, and you arrive around midnight, there is no chance to get any food. Not even some crackers or some bread. Make sure you bring something in case you feel some hunger in the evening. Plan enough time for your checkout.
Pros: Breakfast with splendid view
Cons: choice of food
Cons: Check your sea view rooms because my view was hidden by trees
With a stay at LE GLIGLI in Le Gosier, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Leeward Islands and Plage de Saint Félix. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and coffee/tea in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Location was okay .but a car is essential to get around.the staff did their best as they where on there first day in charge so a few hiccups
Cons: Property needs investment and development of accommodation offered.rusty pipework in showers general maintenance not good for the price I expected more
Pros: The views from our back window were gorgeous! Beautiful little spot in Saint Felix. The staff made themselves very available before and during our trip. The pool was a nice touch. Good central location if you are looking to go to both Grand Terre and Basse Terre.
Cons: Ants, ants, ants! Our kitchen and bathroom had a serious ant problem. We tried cleaning and sweeping, but they always seemed to come back. Further, the "Free Wifi" in the room was very spotty, so we had to sit by the pool anytime we wanted reliable internet. Not a huge deal, but a bit of an inconvenience.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No breakfast or coffee on premises, spotty wifi
Pros: The hotel has changed hands. There were no signs, very hard to find. Outside our room a rooster crowed all night. Very old and delapidated.
Cons: First of all a hotel sign. Bad food. Bad value overall.
Cons: Normally we don't really write bad reviews but this was one of the worst stays ever. Inside the bed it was full of cockroaches. Not just one, which would be kinda normal in Guadeloupe, but fifteen. We decided to abandon our room and put up our tent in the garden. Unfortunately there was a huge party going with very loud music until 5 o'clock in the morning on the property right next to us. At one point in the night the owner woke us up in our tent after we had send him a couple of text and voice messages about what was going on. He offered us another room but we decided to stay in our tent as it was already the sun was almost coming up. He said we would come to an agreement in the morning That morning he never showed up and he never followed up on his promise to arrange something better. In every hotel stuff can go wrong but as an owner you have a responsibility to make up for it with your guests. Especially if you promise them compensation, which unfortunately never came.
Pros: Nice Poolbar, but without a good view.
Cons: The Oceanview from the Balcony wasn‘t as expected. A tree was in the center and a house stand in front on my house and room. The Pictures imagine another expactations.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. Pros: location and beach amd bar
Pros: Breakfast was great The view from my room was great
Cons: Pelican restaurant food need more flavor.
Pros: The only thing I liked is the view
Cons: The staff didn't speak English. The staff was very unfriendly. The room was dirty and old, all furniture was sticky our stuff stick on. The elevator was disgusting. The beach was very dirty full of rotting seaweed. We were left 4 hours waiting outside for check in. We were not allowed to sit in the restaurant because there was 15 min to exact time for lunch -12:00
Cons: No room service. Room was not clean
Pros: The staff was pleasant and professional. The property is on the beachfront.
Cons: The property needs better maintenance. The wifi was absolutely horrible and unreliable. I mostly used the wifi from a neighboring hotel. There are no irons in the room just an ironing room on the ground floor. No facilities to make a cup of tea at bed time. The room smelt damp constantly and had water damage in some parts of the ceiling- I had to leave the balcony door open most of the time.
Pros: The beach was fantastic. Good coffee
Cons: long wait at the coffee machines as there were only two.
Located in Le Gosier (Bas du Fort), Hotel Fleur d'Epée is within a 10-minute drive of Place de la Victoire and Musee Saint-John Perse. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Le Gosier? This hotel features 1292 square feet (120 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice hotel, with its own pool and private beach. The beach is very nice, with palm trees. Not super big, but big enough to make it enjoyable.
Cons: These are minor things, but they could be improved: - Parking lot is always full, which can make parking challenging. Clearly, it is too small considering the number of rooms that they have - The staff is not always friendly. They could be trained better to offer, not necessarily a better service, but a more friendly service. This does not apply to everyone, but certainly to a few, from the front desk to the restaurant staff (some of them again). The cleaning staff was always very nice. - They seem to try to save money on silly things. For example, there is a big bowl of honey for breakfast, but only on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week days, it's only these small, packaged, individual servings, which are definitely not of the same quality.
Pros: Room was comfortable
Cons: Food & internet service
Cons: Internet was not working during my stay.. very disappointed
Pros: Location, Swimming pool and the beach, They accepted free late check out 14:00.
Cons: Air conditioning is poor, very hard to communicate no body speaking english here even the reception, overpriced, Room smell bad.
Pros: Very nice beach, great outdoor facilities and well maintained.
Cons: Breakfast lacking attention to detail, bar was understaffed and the coffee over priced. Parking space often full.
Cons: Prive is too high for this old and upworn place. The food is only expensive but not good. The recepción is unfriendly. I cannot recomand this Hotel
Pros: Love the Breakfast, and the place ,it's very beautiful.
Cons: the internet needs to be better all over the hotel, its very poor
Pros: I loved that the hotel has its own beach. It was like being in paradise. We went all inclusive when we got there and the food was really lovely. The staff are happy and friendly. We had a wonderful time.
Cons: Outside the hotel there is nothing in walking distance and it’s very run down.
With a stay at Hotel Village Soleil in Le Gosier, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Leeward Islands and 6 minutes by foot from Pointe-à-Pitre Marina. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The room smelled dusty/moldy, facilities needs upgrading
Pros: We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and next to a pretty marina in Gosiier near Pointe a Pitre, the staff was helpful about getting us a taxi and was even up at the desk at 5 30 when we had to leave.
Cons: The rooms were clean but had a funny smell. The pillows were flat. There were a number of doors and a pull over grille to be used each night which was broken. The number of security measures, including the hotel gate, actually made me feel a little more nervous about the area, although there were no problems at all.
Cons: ROM NOT clean, the staff was NOT friendly when you dont speak french
Pros: Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, pastries, juicer, great coffee, yogurt, cheese and meat - very typical of European style breakfast. Having a pool to cool off in tropical heat was big plus.
Cons: Staff was very helpful and had good English. Location was very close to marina at Bas du fort and offered variety of restaurants just a short walk away - did not need rental car except to return to airport and hotel has a taxi they use that was excellent value for 4 of us.
Pros: I had trouble with internet. An office staff provided me with personalized passwords which made it easier on my cell phone. I still had some trouble with my computer. The location is perfect above the village, quiet at night. The breakfast room has a beautiful view of the harbor ad swimming pool
Cons: All ok
Pros: The mattress can do with some change. I got up with a backache
Cons: The rooms were stuffy. I had to look at 4 rooms before finally settling reluctantly for room 232 which in my mind was perhaps the best in the pile.
