When you stay at Hanesawa Onsen Katoya Ryokan in Sakegawa, you'll be 15 minutes by car from Mogami Park. Featured amenities include luggage storage, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staffs are friendly and nice.
Cons: Old and not nice. No tap water. The whole building needs renovation.
Located in Shinjo, Hotel Route-Inn Shinjyo Ekimae is within a 5-minute drive of Yumeria and Furusato History Center. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, all the amenities you could ask for. Great buffet breakfast.
Pros: Very good breakfast and such friendly staff
Cons: I found the toilet and bath to be smaller than the usual size at other hotels in the same chain group.
Pros: The hotel is a typical business hotel and one can really not expect so much. But it definitely is a nice, comfortable and good place to stay for short business trips. Convenience is a plus because it is situated right next to a JR train station.
Pros: Location comfortable Helpful employee
Pros: Separate washing machine for ladies in public bath room is very convenient and feel privacy. Good breakfast. Nice staff
Cons: The location of bed.
Pros: Very close to the train station. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was convenient and quiet good.
Cons: Hotel was located in the "back" side of station.
Pros: The breakfast and the onsen was the best.
Cons: I got a smoking room but reserve a non smoking room. I did get a new room but had to sleep in a smoking room in one night.
With a stay at BENI in Tozawa, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Hagurosan and Sokoji Temple. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This ryokan was small and old fashioned in a good way. It was as if we stay in our home.
Cons: No one speaks English
Cons: Size and the view of the rooms
Enjoy slow and relaxing time in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. There are a lot of Japanese pubs and restaurants within walking distance (about 5 minutes) from the hotel. Front door opens 24 hours.
Pros: Good location close to the train station, nice staff. Bed comfortable, big sized room and decent bathroom.
Cons: Many stains on the cream carpet in the room and hallway, and lift walls full of marks. Even though the carpet was clean despite that, it gave a very bad impression. Room temperature was extremely hot and couldn't be adjusted, neither could the window be opened (that I could work out) so I was very uncomfortable. Food at the restaurant was inedible for me, beef in "beef stroganoff" was only seared on the outside and completely raw in the middle, which is not right for this European dish. Room rate and breakfast rate especially (3,500 YEN) overpriced for the lower standards (did not try the breakfast due to the price).
