The reception staff were very helpful, but the cleaning of the room was very poor. The breakfast was very limited and poor.No original juices, the eggs was heavy boiled(green inside!!!) limited fruits. We were very dissapointet that the bar/snack bar at the pool area was closed all times. This was contradary to the website. And it was only a very poor possibility to buy anything at the shop or bar at the reception. The room and view was fine.
We liked the peaceful atmosphere and its location. All the hotel staff are well trained and very helpful. The only improvement I can think of is that for breakfast they have to be sure that there is enough for all the clients present, otherwise it was a wonderful holiday.
Friendly staff, nice pool area (not for lap swimming), decent rooms. Although it's in the middle of nowhere, it's centrally located to many sites (e.g. Erice, Segesta, Lo Zingaro). Breakfast is typical Italian. Lots of sweets, not too many healthy options.
Excellent staff, very nice and helpful. Clean room and fresh towels every day. Very good bathroom and nice pool. Breakfasts were good but could have been more diverse - every day were the same products, no vegetables, always two the same juices flavours etc. A lift would be useful for people with baby pram (like us) luckily there is only first floor to go upstairs.
Relaxing sunbathing area Swimming pool was out of use due to broken glass with no apparent attempt to clear it.Location behind filling station next to tyre depot meant noisy in daytime.
The pool was nice and their buffet breakfast was great; however, the hotel should add fruits in their breakfast (i.e. apples, oranges, bananas, etc.) They advertise two jacuzzi that do not operate. Bad business if someone makes a final decision based on amenities.
We were given a disabled room, when the hotel seemed almost empty. The TV was broken. There were always lights on at the bar, but never anybody there. The pool was dirty. To go out for a meal or a drink, we had to drive, there was nowhere within walking distance.
It's your typical hotel, very nice and clean though, but I always feel to miss a particular atmosphere. The breakfast had plenty of foods to chose from, but tasted a little cheap.
I thought the hotel was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the pool and surrounding area perfect. The only fault I would have with the hotel is the lack of dining facilities, and its a bit off the beaten track. A car is a necessity, and because there is no restaurant in the hotel, it meant driving for to eat every night.
Professional staff, accomodating and friendly. Meals served in the hotel restaurant were really very good. Parking was a serious problem. The hotel has only three spaces available for guests.
close to segesta and trapani airport. helpful staff and god accommodation
Hotel was in close proximity to some interesting sights and views especially through the narrow streets and open plaza. The bathroom was not practical in its layout. There was a hand held shower and the towel rail located behind the door. The bath needed a lot of water which is time consuming every morning.
Nice hotel, big and comfortable room, good breakfast. Hotel parking is free of charge, on the street in front of hotel. Hotel is in the old center of Alcamo, nice for a evening stroll.
This is a great hotel! The staff is friendly and useful, rooms are clean, well decorated and confortable. You can easily access nice beaches and some of the cities of Sicily (Trapani, Palermo and Agrigento),
Overall a good Hotel. Staff very helpful. Food good. Rooms clean. No car park, had to park in street with limited spaces.
car parking a problem
Helpful staff - some spoke good english. The meal in the restaurant was good quality but small portions. Dishes in breakfast room were not very clean
Very nice hotel, beautifully decorated and maintained, large rooms, friendly and helpful staff who speak some English. Breakfast was really good - lots of choice, with fresh fruit and cakes. Having their own parking was very important as Alcamo's streets are very narrow, although they have limited space so reserve this ahead of time. Not many restaurants in the town, so it was good that the hotel's restaurant served good quality food, and the receptionist was able to give us directions to a local pizzeria which was also excellent. The entry on this site says free wifi internet, but it's not free any more (it's 1.50 EUR an hour). However, when we raised this with the staff, they apologised that the Booking.com entry was out of date, and gave us free Internet anyway.
The staff was very very simpathetick and helpfull, The rooms are nice. Alcamo is only 30 minutes from Palermo Aeroport. Our room was on main street - the noise.
Hotel was beautiful, staff were excellent, breakfast included, great restaurant. The location; there were no walkable amenities, and no buses running from the hotel. taxis were extremely difficult to get unless pre booked.
Not much, the pool was nice and the restaurant when it eventually opened (was closed the sunday and monday) The service was poor, when you tried to get a drink at the pool you had to go in and get it yourself. The restaurant wasnt open so you had to get a taxi to get food which was twenty minutes away. The hotel is located in an isolated area.
The swimming pool area was the best. The room was too dark and the bathroom a bit too small.
The constant supply of clean towels and the pool. Almost impossible to get a soft drink or water during the day at the pool side. Snacks would have been nice too. The only way to have something to nibble on was to get fully dressed and go and have a full lunch in the restaurant next door. OK but some days you just don't want to have to do that.
Its geographic position was central to the travelling we did and was very convenient from this aspect and why we chose it in the first place. The staff were also very helpful A very nice hotel with good ammenities but spolied by its position in a light industrial estate. The bedrooms were very dark due to small windows so there were very limited views. The worst aspect was the tiny bathroom with a shower tary that was far too small which meant the floor got soaked everytime we showered.
very friendly and accommodating There were no mosquito nets at windows
The service of the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The Hotel has been furnished and decorated to a unique and very high standard. A definate gem and the attached restaurent was fabulous. A delightful stay. I was a little disappointed by the size of the standard room having viewed the photos on the web site
Really nothing. We were half board but restaurant was closed. Hotel bar also closed.Hotel is on a noisy road.
there was an awfull smell of toalet comming from outside. Especially around early morning.
Newly renovated - v.pleasant design. Continental breakfast but plenty of it. Lovely location - right on the sand Hard to find. Address given on reservation confirmation was not recognised on GPS. Hotel advertises SKY channels on TV but blocked sport channel when there was a soccer game on and asked for 8 euro to activate it. They said this was because there was a problem with reception of channel but once the game was over, the channel miraculously had no more problems!
Location at the sea. Wonderful view. Clean rooms and good bed. Friendly staff Brad Pitt and Catherine Zeta Jones were there during Oceans 12. 10€ surplus for a room with a view on the sea. Environment around the hotel.
The location is great and the restaurant serves great food We expected a room with balcony towards the sea for the 200 Euro/night for a quadruple room. Instead we got a room on groundfloor towards the street. Parking was a bit difficult due to lots of young people at the beach at night. Staff was however helpful to sort out the parking
The staff were nice and most spoke English which is unusual for Sicily and therefore a massive plus. I booked here simply because of the location and the pool which were both great. The bed was a twin and was uncomfortable, the shower was broken, there was no room for suitcases or bags and the room was not like the pictures at all. It is just overpriced for what you get. The beach area was ok but the sea is filthy so you have to treck along to a clean area to swim which was disappointing.
very unhelpful and unfriendly staff, nice hotel but not a great experience most staff are unfriendly and unhelpful
Perfect location, right on the beach, only hotel in area & service was great! Car is helpful although buses are available to travel to nearby towns, which are beautiful! Was not there long enough!
Many young kids in the parking lot at night, partying and drinking, very loud at times!
The staff was very nice and the location amazing as right on the beach! The room was also very clean and comfortable!
nice shower no family room with see-view
Pool, friendly staff
For our trip the location was perfect. It was also a nice experience to be there when they were picking the olives. We also liked that we were able to get dinner at the Case di Latomie and not drive into town. The dinner was amazing including the use of their own olive oil, many excellent courses with ample portions.
The dinner for 22 eur is value for money (4 course dinner)
Rooms were very comfrotable, facilities good and dining excellent. All at a very resonable price.
New, clean, comfortable hotel. Nice pool. Restaurant understaffed. Breakfast could be better. Internet only at bar. Poor surroundings.
very nice hotel
lovely hotel, good food, helpful staff, very good parking.
Our Sky box didn't work, but the staff did provide a replacement. I had booked a room for 3 nights, but left after one. There was a Valentine's party on the Saturday night, which went on until 3am. I was staying with my teenage son and we were probably the only guests booked in not attending. However, they put us in a room directly above the very loud disco! The noise went on until 3.
A beautiful, new hotel, with wonderful interior design, large rooms. Terrace, swimming pool, spa etc. Great food. I had not reserved for half board so of course had to pay for dinner. The menu however didn't mention the prices.
It's not a hotel, it's an agriturismo, which is a B&B on a working farm. The food was fabulous, the owner is hilarious, and the service was great. It is a hidden gem, worth the drive! It was somewhat challenging getting there (had to drive on an unpaved, dirt road, but worth it once we did!
Good location to explore the North-West of Sicily. The staff were friendly, and accommodated our change in plans mid-stay. We felt the rooms were a little basic. The small town the hotel is in does not have a lot going for it, you will need a car. The claim of room service did not seem to be available.
very good service, nice room , big veranda difficult to find, access very difficult
The use of local cuisine and ingredients in the restaurant. The peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, especially in the courtyard area.
Very comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, shuttle bus service to local town Air conditioning purports to be state of the art, does not seem to work in an acceptable manner
Very lovely, small but inviting place to stay near Segesta. The food was also quite good.
Beautiful country hotel. Excellent location for touring Northwest Sicily.Fabulous kitchen. Very friendly and helpful staff . Finishing pool area which should be another plus for summer travellers.
