Very clean, well organised, staff were friendly, nice surroundings Very expensive for what you get. Buffet breakfast was ok, plenty of food etc but quality probably not the highest standard.
Friendly staff, good quality services restrictions on parking in the complex
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.
The comfort and cleanliness. Easy to find, well indicated. No
Nothing special The service at the restaurant
kids entertainments it's a fairy place for kids and calm for adults it's far for the city and close to gardalandpark
The hotel is located between Sirmione en Lazise (and Bardolino en Garda). We used it, because it had everything and was cheap in comparison to other hotels, to get around and didn't stay much at the hotel itself. It's a themepark hotel so you should not be afraid of kids. The room was good. Big enough, good bathroom with everything in it. Airconditioning, widescreen tv, fridge, was all availabele. Even internet via a cable in the room for 3,- per 24h The window in the room was too high up which made the room look a bit unfriendly.
The Gardaland Hotel Resort is a nice hotel for family vacations. A little bit pricey but very clean and comfort...
The hotel surroundings are nice, and the rooms tastefully decorated Food was pretty poor in comparison to other hotels in Italy. Also, felt a little like was on a conveyor belt system, polite though the staff were, we still were ushered in and out of the dining room as quickly as they could move us.
The bed was so poor that it was almost hilarious to try to sleep on it, get serious if you want to keep your customers!
Good curtins and comfortalbe matress.
very central and modern
Very nice hotel. It's more like 5 star when you're in your room.
It was extremely clean, modern, spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Front reception spoke perfect English also. Free shuttle to airport was also a bonus that I did not expect. No. it was a breath of fresh air!
An ideal airport hotel at the Verona airport. Normally airport hotels provide early breakfast for the early-birds leaving the hotel really early, this one does not.
location is perfect. very close to airport and have the shuttle service.staff are friendly. it will be good if the toilet kits have more things such as body lotion..but this is not a big thing. overall i am happy with my stay and i will choose this hotel again.
dining room was not up to the rest of the facilities standard
Close to airport. Free shuttle to/from airport & Verona center.Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Very good restaurant too although a bit pricy. Breakfast ok. Only a minor thing. You can only access Internet with a cable. No Wifi available in bedrooms.
english speaking staff, bed linnens, convenient to airport, Price
modern facilities and indoor pool
We like it very much. It is located in a quiet area ideal for families. Many activities for childen, swimming pools, playing areas. The staff was very helpful.
Breakfast. Quality of beverage (coffie and any other drink far below a 4 star hotel standard)
Good hotel for that price If I wouldn't have navigacion I wouldn't find it.
The rooms were clean and good for a family stay. I would recommend this place to others The staff where unfriendly, asking them for some information was close to impossible and breakfast needs to be upgraded.
spacious rooms, good swimming pool Breakfast was not with good quality or fresh products (boiled and scrambled eggs were cold, coffee taste...cake not fresh
It's a fantastic hotel , really amazing, clean and worth for money. this hotel is a grea hotel to stay especially with family...............it was really good and looking forward to come again. Location perfect, Meals excellent and great shows from the annimators as well. Thanks Amanda Azzopardi, Malta
I would struggle to say anything positive. Staff unhelpful, not even approaching you at the desk just sitting there and mumbling. Outdoor pool advertised, asked staff what time it opened, told 9am, go to pool to find no water in it. Told about restaurants and grill bar being open until midnight, go for something to eat at 2130 to be told restaurant not open until May, this is April. The only other restaurant in the hotel closed at 2000 hours. Told to walk to golf hotel for dinner, closed at 2200 hours and staff most unhelpful as if I was a burden. Tried to use the gym, told opened at 9am. Brekfast finishes at 10 am, if this is a sports & leisure, complex why open the gym that late, people like to use gymnasiums then eat, this timing issue prevented that happening. V poor experience.
very clean, good food, excellent animacion, good size of pool....-that was a super holiday in this hotel for our family! It is simply impossible in the first trace to find the hotel! Map give no informacion how to drive in.We spend 2 hours searching!!!
When we arrived, we were pleasantly suprised by gifts from management. There are quite many sport activities in the hotel. Animation program is good. Staff was polite, but cold and without single smile.
We were to pay 574 according to booking but we got the bill which was 150 euos over the bill. We feel mislead. Your form should ask for age of child upon arrrival and calculate according to that so customer know what they expect to pay and can decide accordingly as it was very inconvenient for customer There was communication problem. We missed flight & phoned we could not make it.But if they can change our booking we will take flight following day they said it is alright. But they added no show later to the bill laterThey told us that your family cancelled to visit while they said they were on their way to visit us.Internet not working told will not have to pay but were charged bill
friendly staff, good food. Rooms a good size with great facilities none
The Gof Hotel was a great place to relax, enjoy good food and take in the views. Room service could have been better.
The location, views and golf facility No
The place is great and centrally located
The place is very new and well looked after. Rooms are big, airy and have good sized windows providing ample light Had to pay for: Cleaning (at end of trip), Sheets and Towels. I feel they should incorporate these into the price as they are hidden expnses. Also hotel does not accept any form of credit cards
G The rooms where not clean enough especially the floor and furniture, the mattress had most of the springs that could be counted!!! We booked because we thought it was good value for money but than we had to pay for towels, linen and cleaning!!!!!
Great staff very helpful considering we were a group of 6 bikers staying.
All the swimming pools was closed (without any reason). The final cleaning was 30 Eur, the booking price not included it, and it was unknown untill we arrived to the aparman, after check in.
Silence, greenery, nice and helpful stuff, perfect lokation for the attractions. We didn't like the brick bungalow / apartment/.It was very old and dark, but we told to the reception and they were very polite and gave us mobile home which was perfect.
Campsite itself was reasonable and in a nice location by lake and town. Staff were helpful. Good bar and a big screen for the World Cup! "Apartment" accomodation was dreadful - small, old and dated. AirCon, fridge and stove were useless. Bunk bed had broken edge and missing rung on ladder. Kids club was poor compared to French experience last year. Pool slides were disappointing.
We stayed at Camping del Garda with my mom during 7-12 May and had wonderful time there. The campsite is actually overlooking the Lake Garda. The Lake itself is really beautiful - there are many small towns on it worth visiting. We made a trip around the lake by ship - took it to Malcesine and back (20.40 Eur return per 1 adult)and it was really nice. At Malcesine there is a funiculer which takes you to the highest mountain where you can overlook the Lake (14 Eur). The Peschiera del Garda town, where the campsite is, is really nice as well and worth visiting. The campsite is also 15 min walk from the Peschiera railway station which is really handy. There are also few supermarkets around (we visited 2 so far) - Migros and Penny. Peny is really cheap one. They both are off Monte Baldo street and about 7-10 minutes walk from the campsite. There are also 2 restourants at the camp, we tried just one - Garda, where we had lovely risotto with sea products - with all the shells and huge king prawn on top :) The bungalow that we stayed at (Pini site)was lovely - clean and comfy. You have fridge, plates, cutlery, teapot, saucepans there. Also duvets and pillows. You can rent the bed linen as well for 9 Eur per change. You will need to bring your own toilet paper, soaps, cleaning stuff and towels though. Alternatively, you can buy all this at the nearest supermarket. We also had the small travelling iron with us, although there is a laundry on the site. The temperature inside it can be regulated by the airconditioning, which we used to make us warm at the night :) There is also a small safe in the room which you can use for free (at least when you stay with Active hotels). The pull was just few metres from our bungalow, but wasn't working since it opens from 11 of May. The second pull on the other sde was open, but it wasn't too hot to swim a the beginning of May. The weather was aroung 15-20 degrees, quite few raines, but we got to catch a bit of sun and had few hours of sunbath at our bungalow terrace (which is beautiful with chairs, table and low chairs provided). There is also an option to take train to Venice (1.50 h and 7.90 Eur single) or Verona (15 min and 2.35 Eur). Trains Regionale are the cheapest. btw don't forget to validate your train tickets at the yellow boxes otherwise they are not valid. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed including printed maps and timetables. They do speak English, German and I think Dutch in additon to Italian. The people in the Town mostly don't speak English (except young students and shoolchildren), so it's worth to prepare some general phrases in Italian for yourself in a case of buying smth at railway station or if you need some help from them. The weather in May is not that hot, so if you want a lot of sunbath and swimming go in the Summer
great location.nice, tidy apartments. The kitchen is well equipped. The restaurant on the site is really great.
Very good for families with small children and for access to Lake Garda
Very cheap in October and quiet, easy to get to near by supermarket and town to catch buses and trains around the lake Need to bring your own toilet paper, rooms a bit like prison cells, the camp sites pretty much closed down in October (no supermarket, restaurant or swimming pools)
Cheap, good location, well organised, staff spoke excellent english. if your staying in a tent your packed in very tightly wih other people
nice terasse and garden with pool close to the high way and therefore a bit noisy; couldn't open the window in the hotel room
Hotel is good.
I liked the spa/relax spot even if I was not able to use it because their hours did not coincide with mine. The staff was very helpful.
Convenient and free shuttle to airport.
The staff were very helpful and the pool facilities were great! The food in the restaurant was very average. There were no tea and coffee making facilities (other than going to the cafe).
Nice hotel, nice staff Breakfast is not included in the hotel price
Had most of the basic needs covered; and they have free shuttle service to downtown Verona. Misleading information about internet availability. Food quality at the restaurant can be better.
Comfortable hotel. Convenient location. Fine swimming pool. Good restaurant, nice dining on the terrace. Swimming pool closes far too early.
Easily accesible from the airport and highway. Close to city center by car. Shuttle to fair.
The staff was helpfull and nice. The shuttle buss to the city was very convenient.
Spa in this hotel is just what you need after a road trip through Italy. Marco was so helpful and attentive, thanx a lot!
As a relatively new hotel, the staff and especially the night manager, went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one.
The breakfast The shower was plugged up and water all over the floor
The hotel and rooms were very new and clean. The breakfast was excellent as well as pool area.
This hotel was a real find. Being set back away from Lake Garda itself meant that it was a nice tranquil location in an otherwise busy location. The grounds with the vines were beautiful and the pool and dining facilities were excellent. An exellent Honeymoon location! However, those who do not wish to dine a la carte every night nor drive for more local food/variety may be put off by the selection of food on offer.
The surroundings were fantastic and the kitchen excellent. The water was too cold in the pool.
Fantastic Hotel wans so quite and beautiful with helpful service
Excellent service, wonderful food, very nice surroundings
It was quiet, relaxing & in a wonderful setting. It was good to be away from Lake Garda where it seem to be very busy. The hotel restaurant was formal and pricey, so it would be good to have a restaurant that was more informal & less costly.
It is very good hotel. The restaurant is great! The rooms are quite big and very cosy. The staff are very helpful and kindly.
the codiality of the staff, the unexpected upgrade, immaculate surroundings both outside and inside
All, swimming pool.location No.
Pool closes very early in the evening. It woud be grate if it would be open, when you come from Verona or neerby amusemant parks. By the way, Gardaland closes at midnight and I like to jump in the pool, when I return from there.
Clean and simple Nothing
Very clean and comfortable. Wide choice of continental breakfast (with great coffee). Very close to Verona airport (but no noise). If hotel car park is full, lots of free public spaces immediately outside the hotel. Not a dislike, but a comment - great for people using airport (as we were), but not for a holiday as situated out of town and in an industrial estate.
all staffs are nice
Clean rooms Very far from centre. No shuttle provided to airport as mentioned for early departures (should be mentioned)
This is a beautiful, brand new hotel. The swimming pool and rest area are just fabulous. The hotel is located in middle of nowhere. Only go there if you have a car. There is nothing at walking distance. Public transportation is poor. A cab to downtown Verona coasts € 24. I sampled this hotel among those offering free shuttle to the airport; however I could not benefit from this since my flight was at 7:35 AM and the suttle service starts at 8:00 AM! It would be fair that booking.com or the hotel reimbouse me the € 12 I paid for the cab to the airport. Staff is quite rude.
The room was very clean and had good facilities. Bathroom facilities were also very good.I also liked the fact that when I checked out of the hotel in the early hours the next morning, breakfast was available. The chairs in the hotel room were a little uncomfortable being made of steel. Style over comfort.
Best Hotel in Verona ... Modern Castle Style. Food is excellent None
Hotel is freshly renovated ex-monastery with big lawn in the middle which is suitable for children play. Room was cossy. Restaurant is very good.
Well set out conversion of monastery. Staff friendly and helpful. Good facilities.
Nice building good location if you have a car The floor is wodden but it is very dirty and dusty, if you have kids there isn't any food for them at the hotel resturant
the pool was great . the hotel is very nice decorated and clean . the brakfast is very good. The picture of the room on the web is not what we get. we are very disappointed about it becouse we choose the room and upgraded it in order to get the room presented in the web site.
facilities and beautiful room
Close to Verona and great value for money.
The rooms were very comfortable and spacious for European hotels. The restaurant provided great service with fair prices. The indoor pool and spa area is great to come back to after a long day site seeing. Service from one team member- absolutely horrible! The website is very misleading about the location to the city centre. It should be clearly stated that a car is required.
fitness, swimming pool
Great facilities and staff. Especially good hotel for adults and relaxion. You need car because there is not anything near the hotel.
The hotel was very clean and the surrounding really great. The location is also very good. The breakfast was very very poor with a very limited choice. During our stay the lift was out of order for three whole days.
good small hotel, basic equipment, for families with children
there was no entertainment in the hotel for the guests , you had to go down to the animation area .
Hotel staff is very nice. Facilities are renewd and nice. Nice view. Excellent for families with kind.
It was a very family friendly hotel with great access to local sights and to the lake.
Excellent for staying with kids.
the breakfast fits children's needs, the children area near the dining room is an excelent idea which gives parents some free time Nothing
The staff were efficient, courteous, professional and friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. Food and bar service was good and the breakfasts provided were more than substantial and good quality. The hotel has great views and is in a fantastic location for enjoying the benefits of Lake Garda and the surrounding area. We even jumped on the train at the local station for a direct fast train link to Venice. PERFECT! The only improvement that I could see was that the mattress in the room was exceptionally hard.
I can state that it is perfect on all points of view: staff, rooms, location etc. A special plus for the excellent restaurant 10: excellent food, very friendly and professional staff, from the waiter to the Chef. In addition, the shuttle service is very useful in view of a trip by plane from Verona airport.
staff did not explain parking in garage clearly. i.e. how to put the room card in the slot in the black box. the coffee machine at the restaurant (closes too early also in evening) was not working properly at breakfast (Monday morning) and was a really hokey, noisy cheap looking thing.
The staff were really helpful , both hotel and restaurant and the overall package was just great
The information about the parking is misleading. It sais “free private parking is possible on site”, once the public car spaces outside are taken you have to pay 8 Euro to park in the hotel car park.
The location was great because we travelled to different cities during the day. The triple room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection. The internet is free which was very convenient for us. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the fitness room. none
Relaxed atmosphere, good restaurant serving excellent food, friendly staff, modern room with everything you need and secure parking. Ideally situated 10 minutes from airport and within easy reach of Verona centre.
