Breakfast included. Decent selection.
Room smelled like a smoker. Bed could have used some padding. No couch for kid to sleep on.
Nice enough place. Good pool. Rooms clean.
Overpriced in the summer. Staff lied to me about room availability. Had booked the rooms for a week and then received an invoice the second morning. Was told nothing was available and they were sorry. Then I booked a room online and the staff proceeded to give me attitude. Breakfast setup in a way that it can't accommodate the number of guests. Parking lot is a hangout for homeless folks. Stayed there many times in the last few months but will never go back.
I was unable to go.......but my friend and her "special needs" son went......original 3 I had booked the room for. When arriving, Jarred had to use the restroom and the "clerk" was VERY rude and unfriendly. Sheryl asked if there was a public restroom and the clerk asked "Are you a guest?".........well she had a suitcase........rude, rude, rude.........they were never greeted or acknowledged the rest of the weekend.............so NO, I won't be staying there
I stayed here with my sisters the night before my wedding and I loved it. I was not expecting such a luxurious lobby but I was pleasantly surprised! This hotel was a great value and made me feel fancy before my big day.
Parking is turrible
The hotel staff was friendly and gave helpful advice on local places to eat and even printed out MapQuest directions. The rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great with a nice selection and plenty of food to fill you up. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Even though you are downtown, the airport is only a 5 minute drive away.
My husband was concerned about a homeless shelter a block away but we never had any trouble.
Thus was a very nice hotel, not the Ritz but nice for the price. Breakfast was plentiful for being complimentary. Room was clean and Huge.. we had a king with a jacuzzi.
The hallway smelled like smoke.
The location is great - within walking distance to Temple Sq. and Main St., though the environment seemed a bit shady with a couple of homeless ppl just outside the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was awesome! Way beyond what I had expected.
Upon registration, the hotel didn't have my booking info from getaroom.com, and it took them quite a while to fetch it. I've heard it's not uncommon with this website, so I suggest to book with other ones.
This hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay! Room was clean, modern, and well maintained, not to mention very spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable!! Service was friendly and helpful and the hotel is very centrally located and easy to find. Free breakfast was a nice perk. Our room was on the 3rd floor, north side, and was nice and quiet. Great value, I would definitely stay here again.
While Wi-fi was free and available in rooms (and lobby), it didn't work very well. Pool/gym area is rather small, however I wasn't expecting one at all so I wasn't disappointed.
Good location, Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent. Amenities were respectable. Parking was good.
Wireless internet was poor at best. Contacted their tech support whose solution was to log in to the router and kick other people off the network, which did not help. Both upon my arrival and upon my departure a police officer was stationed in the lobby with his squad car in plain sight just in front of the entrance. Any hotel that feels the need to have a uniformed police officer (not a security guard) at their property with that kind of regularity, causes me concern that the hotel is unsafe. For this reason alone I will not stay at this hotel again.
Great value, clean, friendly staff PLUS a pool and sauna that stayed open all night. Will definitely stay here again when I come to SLC.
Large, clean rooms, very comfortable beds, quality towels, breakfast, large heated pool. Well managed, staff is busy doing their jobs and result is an excellent hotel for a very reasonable price.
Nothing that I can think of.
They were very accommodating and friendly. They considered our needs and gave us what we needed. We had to change our booking because we had to bring a 2 year old with us and they gave us extra space with an extra charge. Their hot breakfast was very tasty and varied daily as to content. If there was a problem, they were on top of it immediately. I would stay there again.
Breakfast was very good.
The floor I was staging on was under construction.
Great breakfast. Great location
