The owner of the Panama beach lodge is a very kind person, who makes you feel welcome right away. He takes great care about everything in and around the hostel looking good. If you'll ask him, he can recommend you the best places to go and eat or take a surf lesson. It's pretty easy to get there from Panama City. Just a 1,5h drive with the bus. It was my first time I traveled alone and I was happy to stay at this place.
I loved this place and loved the guys running it...its one of those rare hostels which feels like home in an instant. If you want to surf in Panama these guys know everything there is to know and want to share their passion for it. Thiis place is one of a kind,.
Happy with all
We loved everything. The vibe is really good and feels familiair. - 50 meters from the beach - lovely staff - big kitchen - surfspot/rental - small hostal - near small and authentic San Carlos (15 minutes walking)
Bring food and drinks from the city if you plan to stay in Panama Beach lodge. Its more cheap and you can store everything in the fridge. Minimarket is 15 minutes walking.
Location! Right on the beach. Small shop on site with yummy icecream! Lovely staff, very welcoming and chatty. Surf rental there too. Beds were comfortable.
Not enough spaces to sit inside and outside. Outside ones are uncomfortable, just on planks of wood. Showers were cold which wasn't a massive deal for me cos I only stayed 2 nights. Tight space if you're on the bottom bunk, you'll hit your head plenty of times moving around! Possibly a bit pricey for what you get, compared to other places in Panama
The staff: all the stars together! Location: it is just amazing, the place hace magic on its own. It is surfers paradise! Super clean! Will come back soon!
