Clean with good A/C, Good amenities and good marking of room locations for a complex of spread out buildings.
Hotel Circle location is confusing anf hard to exit and enter off the 8 freeway. Long lines of traffic to go anywhere, just to get on the freeway.
The rooms were small and had a weird smell. My fiancé and laid down and were disturbed by a big bug running across the bed. We called the front desk and explained what happened and they didn't see to care much. They just gave Us another small stinky room. Also when I asked about the golf course they show on their brochure they told us it's not owed by them so they couldn't get me access...totally misleading pics will no longer stay there it's not worth it.
Area plase easy acces to the freway ilumination
Expensive and other charges like parking and wi five in dont usex and i have to paY i rhing this needs to be a corresy of the hotel the room was to humed even if we uzsed the ac and the carpet smell like pop o animal pi
The staff was very informative and friendly. The room was large, clean and comfortable. I really liked the location especially being so close to public transportation. Oh yea did I mention I got a real good deal on the room?
Our King size bed was so comfy and the tropical decor didn't bother me at all definitely felt resort like. The location was great and the shopping and Tram right behind us was perfect for the game.
We had no issues.
We were given a room in a building that was clearly not being maintained. Exterior paint peeling; extremely outdated fixtures and décor. The elevator was malfunctioning during our entire stay. Breakfast was over priced with low quality; especially the $15 buffet where you had to cook your own waffle. Very disappointed in what was a promising looking property.
Nice heated pool, cleaning staff was very polite
Beds were too firm for my wife, 18 dollar parking per night, 14 dollar resort fee per night, HARD to find decent parking unless you just stay at the hotel all evening which is ridiculous since you have to pay to park. Front desk was busy so there was a wait just to check in. Had to switch rooms because they put us all the way in the back and there was no spot within 200 yards of our room.
Close to shopping
They never came by to clean our room, even after I called the front desk and informed them that the room was not cleaned. Instead all they did was provide a couple of clean towels which they left on top of the un made bed. Trash was not removed. Room looked old and dingy, was very dissapointed.
Great location and price. Could use more staff on front desk when there is a line to shorten the wait. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back.
Grounds were beautiful, all inclusive
No soap, requested a blanket, waited for 3 hours, called again, blanket came, did not bring soap, childrens dark fingerprints on the wall in two areas of the bathroom, lamp shades next to bed were covered in dust. Dog in the next room barked ALL night, verified with manager & security, nothing T&C could do for us because they were full. They did offer a voucher for a complementary night's stay, hoping they follow up on that.
This is not a 3.5 star property. Should be changed to 2 star. The property is in desperate need of remodeling. The rooms are very dirty. We had to upgrade our room for additional fees just to make our stay tolerable. Would never stay there again nor recommend!
Close to beach and main attractions. Easy access to interstates.
Carpet was dirty and parking was limited. Lady that checked us in wasn't very excited to have to check us in.
our room started pouring water out of the ceiling at about 7Am.
The rooms weren't kept up, my girlfriend had a sever allergic reaction since they allow dogs and other animals in the rooms and don't clean them properly, the pools aren't cleaned, there was an hour-long wait just to check in then our room was basically on the street. A motel 6 would have been better.
Great location and price. The staff was great and accommodating in trying to make my stay better. Thank you
The room was not what expected. Had a funny musty odor and had an old box television with terrible picture. Room was located next to house keeping closet and got noisy in the early morning, along with hearing delivery trucks at 2:30 am. Terrible night stay.
I liked the restaurant they had great drinks.
Parking $18 a day.
Was unaware of the extra charges for parking and "resort tax" that were not included in the original reservation.
Maids and support staff were nice.
Old and dated. Old TV. Parking 18 dollars. Plus a resort fee of 14 dollars. Total cost for 2 nights was approximately 500 dollars. Too much for what you get. People were partying all night. Woman who checked us in didn't tell us everything we would be charged for.
Location. Christian at the front desk was super kind and helpful. Housekeepers were also very good.
When checking in on Friday night there were just two people working at the front desk with a big line of people trying to check in. Some rooms were flooded and people were being moved to different hotels. Old hotel, old furniture, outdated. it needs to be renovated. TV was not working. Hairdryer was falling apart. Room had a balcony with a view of a brick wall. Elevators were slow.
Great courtyard, facilities, gym, Starbucks and pools. Great price and easy access to freeway & attractions.
Balcony sliding door very hard to slide. Decor need updating.
Location was nice. The pool areas were good! And the room was nice!
Various parking charges per night! Resort fee! And the fact that elevators were out so had to wait up to at least 10min to get on elevator was not cool!!!
The pools were really nice but the last day I was there they had no towels we had to walk to the maids for help.It was really green and beautiful flowers everywhere. It was really close to the beaches and the swapmeet which I love to visit when I come to SD.
Checking in took forever and the extra fee for parking and leisurely fee was ridiculous. Also there is not enough places to park at the end of the night I had to park on the opposite side of my room. The carpet smelled really bad too.To many fees for everything I paid a extra 67.50 at my checkout which took me by suprise.
The room was well decorated, and the accessible bathroom was very nice.
The automatic door opener on my accessible room didn't always work, particularly from the outside. The pillows on the bed were not very comfortable. Service was better prior to the recent management change, and they've changed the menu at the Sunshine Deli for the worse since March, when I was last at this property, taking away all the hot breakfast to go options.
Location, close to shopping malls, public transportation and the environment for family especially little children is very good and friendly.
Not enough parking at the back. When u come late it's hard to find parking and some people will park at the red zone and it will be difficult to back up When u r ready to drive out. The parking fee was also expansive, $16 per night.
Next to the mall.
Horrific stay. Not only was I not given the room I had reserved, the entire place was DIRTY. I can't believe they call this place a resort. There were stains on the carpet in the room (and hallways), a hair on one of the towels, lights flickered, stains on the sheets, had to slam the door in order to close it, paper thin walls, elevators not working, toilet was broken, furniture was missing CHUNKS out of it, wallpaper was torn, and a coffee machine that looked about 30 years old. I have stayed in hotels that were two stars that were significantly better than this dump! If they're going to charge a resort fee, they should use the money to repair the property. I have never been so grossed out by a room in my life! I should've listened to the negative reviews I had read. Usually, when I see bad reviews, I think some people expect too much from hotels. I had stayed here years ago, and it had been a wonderful stay so I proceeded with the reservation. Little did I know this would be my worst experience with a hotel. All I look for in a hotel is that it is safe to stay at and that it at least appears clean--not too much to ask for, I think! Please stay away from this disgusting dump that makes a Motel 6 look like the 4 Seasons!!!!
Great room, convenient location, comfortable bed, nice balcony view.
Checking in took almost an hour.
I was afraid to stay here after reading a lot of the reviews but my experience was a good one and the room was nice and clean. Sure the decor is not the greatest but it was still a nice room. I would definitely stay here again if the price was right. And it's conveniently located. I'm from san diego and it's in a good location to everything.
I didn't like that you had to pay for parking. As a paying guest at the hotel, it should be free.
charge for parking 18.72 and Hotel Fee 17, no like
Close to almost everything in San Diego
There was a extra parking charge of close to $20 per day and on top of that a leisure charge per day. It was very confusing layout and difficult to find room from lobby. Room was small. Not much bang for our dollars which was important traveling with children. Very disappointed
The windows in the lower price ropms dont open????
After reading some of the other reviews, it wasn't what i thought it was going to be. Customer service was ok and the room was decent. It was an older hotel but overall not bad.
I did not like how parking was not included in the price. Parking was "discounted" from $20 a night to $18 a night.
I liked how homey it felt.
I didn't like that it didn't have a refrigerator or microwave
Complete total waste of time and money to stay at this delapidated old hotel. It needs a complete remodel. Booked through Kayak at $159.00 per night. Got to the hotel and if I had booked directly it would have been only $135.00 per night. They even charged us $18.00 per night to park our car on the property. The food on the property was cold and way overpriced. The staff pretty much had a bad attitude. Then to top it off there was a local hotel service fee of $14.00 per night. I would not stay there again even if it was for free.
What a value for such a wondeful hotel. Woke up to palm trees and birds singing! Whirlpool was hot and luxurious. Fantastic stay would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet hotel that makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise.
Parking, a bit confusing. They could use more signs for the driver.
