The breakfast was simple but really good and the hotel was ok for the price.
The location is one of the worst in San Francisco. The place is not safe and definitely not a place for tourists. Especially not recommended for family. Full of homeless, druggy and street prostitute.
Good staff, nice decorations, spacious room
Location isn't so good, too many homeless people, but if you don't mind it's a good choice
It was walkable to union square about 20mins walk.
Area was awful. Full of drug addicts injecting themselves with crack right outside our doorstep. Did not feel safe once in that area. Room was small and cold. Heater didnt work. Breakfast was average continental style. Glad we only stayed a night.
It’s central. Despite the amount of shady night life happening at its doorstep.
Hairs in the bathtub. Breakfast is not complimentary, it’s “a free thing they can’t be responsible for” so on our stay there was only toast and jam. Worse than a hostel or motel breakfast. Everything is disposable at breakfast. WiFi wasn’t working. Several light switches didn’t work in our room neither did the phone. So they offer another room but the guest is the one having to check if the room is ok... The area around the hotel suffers from a homeless and drugs problem while not unsafe it’s not the most comfortable. Basically if you stay in a hostel you pay less and get the same service quality. Some staff is nice but the morning manager was just uninterested, claiming nothing is his responsibility and he can’t do anything about nothing and would just stare back at his screen. Unfortunate choice of hotel for us. The building and the decoration project look good though, cheaply executed but nice looking.
The hotel itself was clean & comfortable with everything in the room, an iron, hairdryer, etc. although the room was a bit small. No AC, just a ceiling fan. Breakfast was basic but good - plenty of fruit & yoghurt. Staff were friendly & helpful.
The location is convenient to downtown but on a dreadful street filled with homeless, rough sleepers. It was depressing to have to walk by so many unfortunate people - many were strung out & openly shooting up
