Very close to fishermans wharf so walking is very easy
Stayed here on New Year's Eve. Got placed in an accessible room. The beds are terrible. I'd say if they got new beds, it would be decent
- Good location next to Fisherman's Wharf. -The price is good for what you get. - Cool area with little fireplaces out in front.
This is probably unique to my visit but: - The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly rude. - There was used shampoo and soap still in the bathroom suggesting that it wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. - They were cutting trees right outside the rooms causing a lot of noise and dust during the day.
The place was mostly clean, attractive decor, in the best part of town, windows open slightly, nice sheets/comforter/pillows, quiet, I felt safe.
I am disabled but had to walk down 5 1/2 long weird hallways to get to my room. The setup is ridiculous. There were a few too many hairs in my shower. I found the mattress to be uncomfortable. Some staff was snooty and pushed guests through like a herd of cattle at check-in time.
Hop-skip-n-a-jump away from the piers. Nice sized room. Friendly staff and gave us 1.5 hour late checkout which made life much better on this trip.
Odd layout. Only one entrance, it was like 1/3 of a block in- which means you have to walk [on average] > 1/4 a block after entering lobby to get to one's room. Also i wish the website had mentioned the $50 a day for parking[we were in town for 24 hours.] This might have been the going rate for Fisherman's Wharf but this would've made the difference between this place and a place nearly $40-60 cheaper: longer walk to piers but saving $40-50/night is a big difference. Might not have been the hotel's fault maybe the booking site should've mentioned this, but still this is important information. Other complaint, probably more universal: really going to charge $14 to use hotel WiFi in one's room?! In 2015? First time rentimg hotel in San Francisco. Is this the norm? Free on lobby, though. Very not cool.
Price, parking, general worn look of the hotel, the feeling that the hotel and staff were providing the minimum and nothing else.
Location, comfortable beds
Price, $50 parking fee not included in room cost, noisy, small bathroom
Rooms were clean and everything we wanted tondo was within walking distance.
The room and bathroom were very small.
Very dirty the rooms
Great location! Easy walk to many nice places in San Francisco. Beautiful facilities.
Too expensive to park car overnight - over $50!
Location, cleanliness, Spacious for two, Friendly staff, pricing on short notice.
$50/night for parking Made price on the hotel less of a positive.
easy walk to both Pier 39 & the Wharf.
hotel layout and elevators confusing - entrances and exits funny
It was close to Fisherman's Wharf.
I specifically asked for a room that would be away from street-type noises....I was given a room overlooking the town bus terminal! Back-up beeping, diesel engine and loud communication until after 1 AM!!! The bathroom was not clean. The tub/shower took ~ 20 minutes to drain...gross! NOT a great value overall for the high price!!! The hallways look dingy and dated.
Great location, nice room, comfy bed, plenty of privacy. The fire pits out front are a lovely touch; we enjoyed warming up by them and drying our shoes off before heading in after exploring the rainy city on foot.
We were on the second floor and there was too much light in the room; between the bright hallway lights seeping in through the door and the pool lights glaring in through the windows, it was hard to get the room truly dark. That may not have been as much of an issue on a higher floor, though. Also, $50 for one night of parking!? That's half of what the room cost!
